Programming / Article: <head> Codes Rule The World </head> by JawadZeus: 1:27pm On Oct 14, 2017
People are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of computers and computer codes in the technological revolution of the 21st century; and more people are getting involved in making that revolution more pronounced with their endeavors in the tech industry. One of such prominent people: Bill Gates the founder of Microsoft; whose entire empire was built on codes. There are many more people like him whose empires where built on ones and zeros, and thanks to his likes the concept of ones and zeros is being spread all over the globe and computer education has become something of a hot cake now.

Everybody is coding.

Discussion on prayer.
What/who/where is god.
Who is the holy spirit.
Freewill
Biblical contradictions.
God of the past, present & future.
The Noah's ark.
Why is Satan still alive?
Is Satan a bad guy?

None of those questions have been answered with convincing evidence; most of what you usually get in answer to those questions are a bunch of mumbo jumbo... and some bullshit to top it.

Nigeria is not as ultra-religious as it once was. The topic of atheism is no more taboo as it once was. It is now discussed in various media.

1) Radio talkshows; I have witnessed radio hosts discussing twice about atheism despite the fact that I only listen to radio once in a while. The first was an atheist challenging the existence of God on a christian talkshow on sunday on 93.7, the other was a radio talkshow host complaining of her roommate not believing in God (cant remember the radio station)

2) Atheist groups and conventions; two new atheist groups have come up and there is an atheist convention on the 11th of september. One of the groups is a humanist one and the other on is the atheist convention of Nigeria (ASN), which is having the convention.

3) Growth of atheist numbers on Nairaland, twitter and facebook; there is no week I dont see some criticism of religion or God on twitter or facebook by a Nigerian. This shows that the internet gives voices to those who are more careful in real life. Nairaland is the den of atheist- no need to even talk about it. grin

I completely agree, and in truth we actually do not need more churches and what not, what we need is a society of free thinking individuals such as the ASN of which I am a proud member of; people who are ready to contribute, give hands on contribution to the betterment of the society and Nigeria as a whole... not those 'It is well" people. And freethinking Nigerians pop up with each passing day.

Lagos needs Igbos to survive

“Lagos ACN wants to let Nigerians know that Igbos constitute over 45 per cent of the population of Lagos and they dominate key sectors of the Lagos economy."

Igbos also need Lagos to survive. So what are you talking? The guys that stitched this country up in such a way that every region needs every other region to progress.

Humans have always derived meaning from the concept of god and his plans, but then came the humanist revolution which brought about the death of god.
Prophets and philosophers have argued that all laws and order will vanish if we stop believing in god, yet today those who pose greatest threat to global law and order are precisely those people who believe in god and his all encompassing plans.
God fearing Syria is far more violent than atheist netherlands,
Religious Nigeria is worse than atheist USA.

You will live long my friend... you will live long!! They keep screaming all sorts of vile nuisance against the atheists calling them everything from retarded to heretics, immoral and lawless and people hell bound. They have decided to not look inwards and see for themselves how much scum they have within. Virtually every sick case imaginable was perpetrated is either in the church or by a religious person... Reference to that gay orgy thing in a cardinal's apartment in Italy... which I gotta say has been unusually kept quiet.
