Skymoore1004: One thing I've learned, most courses offered in UK universities are not accredited and it doesn't really matter except you're in the medical field or highly technical fields like BioMed, Lab science etc 2 Likes 1 Share |

Good day Fam, I trust you all are doing good good. i need your input on the PSW visa and my question is, can you invite your spouse to UK during your psw visa( after your tier 4) and would she be entitled to work full time? I know details about the policy still sketchy but any useful information will be appreciated |

Skymoore1004: That wasn't necessary. He's making a point still, his own point. You went completely overboard and out of rhythm with the Mofo thingy. Always always respect opinions, the world is a better place that way |

missnigeria: I suggest you write the school requesting for change of course, if they offer the course you wish to change to. It's much easier since they already have your documents and credentials. Also with your experience and professional qualification, I strongly recommend you go for MSc. Accounting as earlier advised by @hosey. You stand a better chance |

LagosismyHome: You don't get it. There's time for everything, its never right to start off a relationship on that note. You'll just push this guy to trouble and when the chips are down you'll be nowhere to be found. Doesn't matter who is doing who a favour, generally you don't resolve issue by immediately threatening people with legal action. put yourself in the shoes of the school. like I said earlier in most cases they offer discount, what if the school had that in plan. No matter how you see it, it's rude to immediately threatened anyone or institution with legal action. if life hasn't thought you this then you have some growing up to do 5 Likes |

NomzyJust: Everyone telling you how brilliant your move to threaten your potential school with a lawyer is but i for one think you should have explore other peaceful approaches of resolving the issue first. Reasons: you and your school are just getting started plus you haven't secured a visa yet. Best thing to do in this situation was to follow dialogue, threatening with a lawyer should have been your last resort. Basically UK schools give discount for any change in starting date, that is almost certain. Well, moving forward I would suggest you write them thanking them for reversing the fee. Be humble, remember UK is a polite society. Tell them you're glad they gave your query consideration as that would have tampered with your travel plans. Then you follow it up by telling them when you think it's convenient for you to provide your Bank statement. When you get to the UK you can threaten and sue sh** as much as you want. If you don't do this, they might be up to something. If you can't provide your bank statement they might offer to refund you which some schools take a handsome percentage of your CAS fee. In the meantime start looking at other possible options. Wish you luck 8 Likes |

mikeerrr: lol, I think logic should at least suggest to you that the worldremit you recommended has very good rates and it's easier to send money if you have someone there receiving, but you don't think that way. Matter of fact i wanted someone to collect the money and pay something on my behalf. Plus how on earth do you expect me to send you proof of an illegality when my cousin is involved. C'mon do you even use your head? look I'm not here to convince anyone to take that path but what I said is the honest truth and nothing more |

mikeerrr: exactly the scenario, he came in as a student, flexed his school fees on girls and shoes. this caused a lot of heat in the family, he was afraid to return to Nigeria until two years back he got his pr. this year he enrolled at a university. let's just say he got lucky but it did happen. mikeerrr: exactly the scenario, he came in as a student, flexed his school fees on girls and shoes. this caused a lot of heat in the family, he was afraid to return to Nigeria until two years back he got his pr. this year he enrolled at a university. let's just say he got lucky but it did happen. |

mikeerrr: Hello, like I said earlier it's not gonna be easy but it's worth every penny and there couldn't be a better destination for international students. Perhaps you're a little upset you missed out on the PSW which is understandable but please don't discourage others. plus my cousin lived in the UK illegally for 6 years and still was able to get permanent resident status with the help of a strong law firm. Jobs in UK are basically less stressful except you're extremely rich or lazy for example you can work in crowd control, hospitality, security( basically you sit in one place and watch cctv) or events services( arranging tables and chairs) you get paid handsomely for these services(so called menial jobs) in fact you're better off than someone working with NNPC or CBN and I'm not even mincing words. In Nigeria you'll do jobs that your body, soul, and spirit go hear am and still your take home pay will be like 50k. All I'm saying is if you can afford to study in the UK please by all means do, you'll get back every penny you spend and much more just doing menial jobs and that's worst case scenerio, what we call a win win. Wishing all prospective applicants luck 9 Likes |

Phatkings: I'm a bit surprised and baffled that even with the 2 years post study policy some people are still painting a very nasty picture of life in UK. I want to state it clearly to those who are easily swayed or discouraged that you're 100 times better off in the UK than Nigeria and 10 times better off than other countries and i kid you not. The two year post study will help you secure a more reliable job because most firms are looking for stable employees. Life in UK is not the same as it were a couple of months ago, in fact you'll easily make back millions you spend on your tuition and much more doing casual jobs and if you're lucky enough to secure a white collar job your company may file for permanent resident status on your behalf which will enhance your chances of getting a better position and even citizenship. I'm not saying it's gonna be easy but it's worth every of your penny and trust me there's no better place in the world at the moment you'd rather study at. Just go with a plan and stay focused. Thank me now #winks 10 Likes |
