Madam, I won't mince the truth from you like others... You want him to be this, you want him to be that.. What have you done for yourself as a person?... What have you achieved?.... If you are this ambitious as you claim, the guy needs no one to compel him, it becomes an automatic competition as he would want to match up with you ....
All I see is an ambitious lady who is doing nothing for herself but pushing the man beyond his limits for her selfish gains.... You are not even proud to show him to your parents? Smh.... He doesn't deserve you as a wife either .. Selah

Politics / 2019 : Okotie Wants Nass ,ministerial Portfolios Scrapped by Jayj007(m): 5:01pm On Jan 22, 2019
The presidential candidate of the Fresh Democratic Party, FRESH, Rev. Chris Okotie, has stated his intention to scrap the National Assembly as part of his political reforms, if elected president in the forthcoming election.

After a thrilling worship session, the pastor turned politician told his congregation at the Household of God Church, Oregun, Lagos during an interactive meeting yesterday that if elected to set up an Interim Government of National Reconciliation and Reconstruction as advocated in his letter to the political leaders, he would scrap the parliament, ministerial portfolios and other political offices that have made the cost of governance almost unbearable.

He insisted that what Nigeria needs now is not election but far-reaching reforms that could drastically alter the political and economic structures of the country, adding that without the reforms, the present stagnation and widespread frustration which have birthed the general state of insecurity, anger and violence would continue.

Rev Chris Okotie said there are extant, fundamental sovereignty issues that no sitting government has been able to solve since the post-independence crisis that led to the 30-month civil war.

He said any president elected on the basis of the widely rejected 1999 Constitution would be castrated politically as a result of the present dysfunctional state of the country, which only a new, workable constitution can solve.

Politics / Breaking News: Amosun Disburses N1bn For Launching, Campaigns Of APM As MAPOLY, by Jayj007(m): 9:15pm On Dec 18, 2018
Information from close aides of Gov. Amosun's cabinet has revealed that the governor has disbursed a whopping amount of N1bn for the launching and campaign activities of the new party (APM) of his anointed candidate, Hon. Abdulkabir Adekunle Akinlade.

The huge amount of money was siphoned from the Paris fund released to Ogun states by President Buhari. The governor has also branded 57 buses from which he bought from the Paris fund

Amosun who is a member of the APC has been engaging in anti-party activities by openly announcing his total supports for his anointed candidate, who's now the governorship candidate of the new party, APM.

According to the aide, the governor told them (close aides) that President Buhari truly warned him of his anti-party activities but he is going ahead with his support for APM.

However, it is on records that students of MAPOLY who ought to have finished the 2017/2018 academic session are yet to start their second semester examination (17/18 academic session) due to failure of the Amosun government to pay some outstanding salaries and allowances owing the lecturers. The government of Amosun is still owing them salaries of last year (2017) November and December and that of 2018 September, October and November, he's still owing them payments of conference markings done in the past and he has failed to do promotional examinations for those who are due for promotion at work.

Like that of MAPOLY, lecturers of Tai Solarin College of Education, TASCE are also suffering in the hand of Amosun over failure to pay them 28 months salaries and 48 months arrears totalling N4.3bn. They appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to intervene in the “sorrowful situation”, which has led to the death of 45 of their members since 2011.

The same Amosun who cannot pay lecturers is now spending 1 billion naira to ensure his anointed candidate becomes governor after him at the detriment of Ogun state students and lecturers who don't know what becomes of their academic career.

Politics / Dapo Abiodun Risks Disqualification Over Forgery Scandal by Jayj007(m): 7:33pm On Dec 17, 2018
Adedapo Abiodun, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Ogun State, has been caught in a messy scandal that could see him disqualified as the flag-bearer of the ruling party in the February 2019 gubernatorial election.

Mr Abiodun, a renowned oil and gas executive from Ijebu Remo, is facing allegations that he evaded national service after graduating from the university in the 1980s, and claimed in his nomination form that he does not have a university degree in order to deceive his party and the Independent National Electoral
Commission, according to court filings seen by PREMIUM TIMES.

Documents seen by PREMIUM TIMES also showed that Mr Abiodun made conflicting academic claims in his INEC filings when he ran for Senate in 2015 and as a governorship candidate this year.

https://insideogun.com/2018/12/17/scandal-dapo-abiodun-risks-disqualification-for-certificate-scanda

Mr Abiodun was declared winner of the 2018 governorship primaries in Ogun State in October.

His emergence sparked a bitter and unending confrontation between the leadership of the APC led by Adams and Ibikunle Amosun, the governor of Ogun State.

Mr Amosun, also of the APC, strongly contested Mr Abiodun’s candidacy, and vowed last week that he would work against the candidate in 2019.

Politics / Ogun 2019 :I Would Not Abandon Amosun's Projects, Says GNI by Jayj007(m): 4:34pm On Dec 09, 2018
Laide Raheem, Abeokuta
The Ogun State governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, has assured that he will not abandon any developmental project initiated by the incumbent administration, if elected governor in 2019.
He noted that though some of the projects are “bit suspect”, his administration will concentrate on how to continue and complete the projects for the benefit of Ogun State people.
Isiaka gave this assurance at the weekend in Abeokuta, while addressing party faithful, political groups, artisans and associations during a campaign rally in Ita-Aka area of the town to round off his tour to Abeokuta North local government area of the state.
He expressed his dismay at how successive governments in the state promoted what he termed “vengeful politics”, noting Ogun would have witnessed significant growth if the governments had promoted continuity of developmental projects regardless of political differences.
He said, “I can assure you that I am not like other politicians who promote politics of bitterness and vengeance. I will stay true to completing all uncompleted projects by the current government. After all, I cannot write off eight years in the life of a state; even though some of the projects of the current administration area a bit suspect”.
“I remember when I lost the 2011 election to Senator Ibikunle Amosun, I was one of those who said that there should be continuity, and the governor should not put a halt to the good things of the OGD administration, especially viable projects that were not yet implemented before the regime wound up.
“We have about six million people in the state. We have to continue and not be vengeful. We cannot keep fighting this one and fighting that one. Mind you, these projects we are talking about are not being done with anyone’s personal money. The money belong to us all. It is ours and it is morally wrong to abandon them just because we don’t align politically or because we belong to different political parties”.
While welcoming scores of defectors from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) into the ADC, Isiaka called on others to follow suit and join the “fastest growing party”, reiterating his determination to win the governorship election next year.
“This is the third time I’m contesting. I’m convinced we are winning this time. It will be third time lucky for us. No one knows where the shoe pinches than myself. I have been in the state for a significant period now and I can assure you we are going to serve you well”. Isiaka submitted.

Politics / Dapo Abiodun: All Hell, No Paradise!!! by Jayj007(m): 7:52am On Nov 10, 2018
Mr Dapo Abiodun, the owner of Heyden Oil and a friend of the disgraced Diezani Allison Madueke, is the controversial governorship flag bearer of APC Ogun State. The popular believe in Ogun State is that he never won the primary election that purportedly declared him as the winner in Ogun State. The winner was Hon. Adekunle Akinlade who indeed emerged from the real governorship primaries conducted in Ogun State on the 2nd of October 2018. The same process that threw up Akinlade as the winner of governorship primary election in Ogun State also benefited Sanwo-olu of Lagos State. Curiously, it was convenient for Mr Oshiomhole, the National Chairman of APC to announce Sanwo-Olu as the winner in Lagos and rejected Akinlade in Ogun State. Unjustifiably and fathomlessly, Mr Oshiomhole unilaterally and emperorstically announced Mr Dapo Abiodun as the winner. Ogun APC members saw this brazen lawlessness as political fraud of the century perpetrated by the Lagos cabals on political colonization of Ogun State and using Mr Dapo Abiodun as a tool for the exercise.

It thus appears that Mr Oshiomhole and his gangs are suicidally bent on fostering Mr Dapo Abiodun on Ogun State APC without minding the negative consequences on the stability and fortunes of APC In Ogun State.

Many people have been wondering what political magic wands Mr Dapo Abiodun want to enact that will give him victory in the 2019 election compared to his strategies in 2015 Senate election in Ogun East which he lost woefully. In that election, Mr Dapo Abiodun flopped ingloriously. He even lost his ward in that election. Yes, for that election, Mr Dapo Abiodun was reported to have spent over a billion naira. If indeed he spent a billion naira in his domain and he lost in 2015, he should be prepared for several billions of naira especially in hostile environment of Ogun West, Ogun Central and part of his Ogun East with no guarantee of winning.

The Ijebus are indeed are not jolly partying with him on this ticket. The Ijebus believed that Remos that Mr Dapo Abiodun represents are been smarter by half to have hijacked the ticket from Ijebus after Mr Gbenga Daniel from Remo had spent eight years as governor from 2003 to 2007.

Many a politician who have had contact with Dapo Abiodun will say: there is no paradise in any relationship with Dapo, if any, it is ONLY Hell. The people of waterside LG in Ijebu have a bitter story to tell. According to Bale Ilapo in Waterside LG, he said: ‘in the build up to the elections in 2015 Mr Dapo Abiodun gave us a transformer to service many communities but after he lost the election he retrieved the transformers and several cable already laid’.

Mr Biodun Balogun was one of the nine LG Coordinators for his senate pursuit in 2015. He said ‘Dapo Abiodun gave us a mini bus for his campaign activities in 2015 and after he lost he withdrew all the buses and kept them in his Iperu home to rust away. Unfortunately the value of each of those vehicles was less than N3000,000’. We advised him to leave the vehicles with us for publicity sake .but he choose to take them away and disappeared into thin air’. That is not a strategy of a serious ad populist politician. We all see him as a selfish and self centered individual.

To those in APC, hell and not paradise awaits you in Dapo Abiodun political camp. As at today Mr Dapo Abiodun is set to announce a parallel structure of APC from the ward to the State level. The objective is to sidetrack all present APC executive committee members and thrown them into political graves.
Even now, for the election that is not yet conducted, he has drawn up his list of Commissioners, Special Advisers and LG Chairmen and no member of the present main stream APC is to benefit. This is death knell to the present APC faithful.

To those who want to go to hell, please take a walk to Iperu but if you want paradise, the sure way is Amosun. If you don’t believe there is hell in Dapo Abiodun, wait a few months and see the ‘burning hell’. For me and my entire family we remain in paradise and not hell.

*Please don't read alone, educate others on why we must resist imposition in our dear gateway state*

Politics / Bad Governance Belongs To The Trash by Jayj007(m): 7:22pm On Nov 07, 2018
Ogun state is a state notable for having a high concentration of industrial estates, rich agricultural farmlands and being a major manufacturing hub in Nigeria.. How often have we heard or read these words? Yet the citizenry starve and weep or, as Fela Kuti would sing: "suffering and smiling." Such is the life of a typical Ogun state citizen and many agree that the many problems plaguing the state are due to bad governance.

When we talk about bad governance, there's a need to understand the characteristics of one. High rate of poverty stands out, often as a fallout of a high rate of unemployment. High crime rate is predominant under a bad government as well as a huge difference between the spending ability of all classes and amongst each gender (only two are recognized in Nigeria.) This brings the financial state of the state to mind - when a government borrows too much or owes too much, recording an outstanding amount of state debt at the risk of state bankruptcy, there's a need to question the state's leadership.

When the.populace have little or no interest in politics, with many being disenchanted with the government in power, this can undoubtedly be due to poor governance. Untackled discrimination, particularly in a state with many tribes, as well as the pursuance of controversial policies - usually without the approval of representatives in the State Assembly as a whole - are often recorded during a bad dispensation.

Indeed, if elected officials do not connect with the people who voted them into power and fail to honorably represent them nationally, there's no doubt that that government is no good.
With the establishment of what bad governance is, on the one hand - and with a people whose will have been bent till they are either nonchalant or afraid of antagonizing those in power - it is clear that a bad government is tyrannical since it instills more of fear than outrage. On the other hand, there can only be freedom when the government fears the people and tries its best to please the populace by improving upon their standard of living.

Sadly, Ogun state citizens have borne the brunt of bad governance for years and now, one wonders if there's light at the end of the tunnel for those who still believe in this country and even for those who don't, yet have no option. Abandoning the country is not the solution, individual and collective efforts at contributing to good governance are needed instead.
The people have decided and ready to vote wisely and place bad governance where it belongs - in the trash.

Politics / 2019: Amosun May Not Go For Senate - Tejuoso by Jayj007(m): 11:52pm On Sep 28, 2018
The Senator representing Ogun Central Senatorial District, Dr. Lanre Tejuoso has said that going by the statistics available to him, Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun might not run for the Senate in 2019.

The senator who's serving under the platform of All Progressives Congress was elected into the senate in 2015 till date.

Tejuoso while reaffirming his intention to run for a second term to his supporters and members of the party on Friday at a meeting held at Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, said, he is not aware if Amosun has purchased the senatorial ticket.

The meeting was attended by some party leaders led by Alhaji Bakai Okedara and members of the 'Eni a fe de' group across the senatorial district.

The groups at the meeting include, Sweet ladies, Senator Lanre Tejuoso (SLT) babes, gentle men, women leaders, among others.

Speaking on his interest to contest with the state Governor on direct primary, the senator said, presently, is findings have shown that Amosun has not purchased the senatorial ticket.

He said, "Amosun, with his support for my intention helped me to become senator in 2015.However, I told him that, I shall withdraw my interest to run for second term only if he wished to run for the senate again, but, he told me what can make him run for Senate is if he will be the Senate President.

"But, in an executive meeting we held sometimes ago, the Governor took the microphone to announce his interest for senatorial seat without informing me.

"Rather than allowing other people competing with my boss, I decided to purchase the senatorial ticket to continue representing the interest of my people.Nobody will die on the senate seat, we shall all leave the position someday, but the party should not be spoilt”.

While speaking on his alleged defection, Tejuoso said, he only left APC but never join another party.

He added that, while different people from other senatorial district were given job opportunities in the state, but his constituency was left behind, claiming that, it was the reason he left the party.

He said, "before my announcement, I meet with all chairmen under my senatorial district to chart the way out, immediately the party got information they summoned them not to listen".

In his remarks, the party leader , Alhaji Bakai Okedara urged all the members of the party in the state to support Tejuosho during the direct primary and after the election.

He , claimed that, the senator has been sidelined because of the interest of his people.

Religion / I Don't Know My Successor Yet - Pastor Adeboye by Jayj007(m): 5:26pm On Aug 06, 2018
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has said God had not revealed to him who will succeed him as the church's head.

Pastor Adeboye said this the ongoing ministers’ conference of the mission holding at the Redemption Camp, Mowe, Ogun State.

The ministers’ conference is a precursor to the 66th RCCG convention which starts on Monday. Both events are held annually.

Speaking on Saturday night at the conference, Pastor Adeboye said,“God has not told me about any successor at all, whether you believe it or not.

“Elijah knew before Elisha knew that he would succeed him, Moses also knew that Joshua would succeed him and likewise Eli knew before Samuel and not the other way round and therefore, God will tell me first before any other person about who will become my successor as a general overseer.

“So, those of you who are carrying rumour of who would be my successor or claiming to be the one that God had chosen should desist from such act as God had not shown me anybody yet.

”Some even said I would hand over to Bishop David Oyedepo, some said to Pastor Joe Olaiya because the two are very close to me that they do minister during our major events such as the conventions, Holy Ghost congresses and yet another quarter said one of my sons is the one succeeding me.

“But I would advise you to always check sources of your information before believing such information and also to focus on whatever you are doing rather than spreading rumour.

“So, let me say it loud and clear again that God has not told me who my successor is.

“What God had told me several years ago was that He would tell me who my successor would be at least five years before I would be called home and as at this now, He had not told me anything as regards that, which means He is not ready to call me home in the next five years.”

Pastor Adeboye, however, declared that he ‘pity’ who would eventually emerge as his successor because such a person would have to pray more than I do and has to sacrifice a lot also.

“Because I know how many hours I pray a day and I can count how many days I eat in a year too.

“So, whoever that will take over from me, such person will have to surpass me and God will have mercy on the person.”
