[quote author=kokorokoman post=122730403]After over one year in Ghana without anything to show for it, I have finally decided to come back to Nigeria. Bro you still have not gotten the right results because I feel you’re blaming things around you instead of finding solutions to it. First of all you left Nigeria to Ghana because you were looking for a better life meaning you were not doing well in Nigeria also. Now you’re asking for something that will make you money quickly and that’s another red flag for me. Nothing good comes easy!!! I’m also living in Ghana with my family presently and I schooled here also years ago. I know a lot of Nigerians who are working in good firms and making money. Ghana is expensive and I can’t deny that but I mean, you said something about not having any job or skill or education so what was your plan coming to Ghana? It’s hard enough even for people who work and earn compared to you who isn’t earning.. it’s not rocket science. I have remote jobs I would have sent you links for that pays as much as 6-8k cedis monthly but you said you’re not educated. Please learn any skill because although location plays a huge Part in success, the onus is on you as a person to have a clear vision of what you want and equip yourself for it. A lot of people are here and are successful. What part of Accra are you in? We could be able to figure out a bolt driving job for you if you can drive.. just don’t blame location for your situation. 6 Likes |

xevove2061:.. Ok then.. let me just stay calm and see who the populace will vote for.. may the best man win |
![]() |
One4me:… Funny thing is I won’t be voting because I don’t live in Lagos.. I just asked questions why he was called Chinedu and some nice nairalanders explained to me and I went ahead to check what they pointed out to me and discovered why he was having a backlash that’s all.. may the best man who will give his best to lagosians and be neutral to its population win.. |
![]() |
soullove1881: May the best man win. Let it just be free and fair. So many lagosians are saying Sanwo olu actually did well the last 4 years.. I have not been to Lagos for years so I can’t say.. if he did well then please add another opportunity to his resume but if not, jandor and funke look promising.. anyways, I wish y’all the best 2 Likes |

raskymonojendor: Then he should do well to grow and align to his people.. when that is done, his turn will come.. let him go prepare for it.. for now, the polity is already heated up. I just want people to be able to choose who they want based off their personality and results from their work and passion for the job.. may the best man win.. Lagos is too big and spontaneous a place to be handed to a rookie 1 Like 1 Share |

xevove2061:.. I’m an edo man and wisdom tells me not to go contest for the biggest position in another person’s state.. being a Nigerian and allowed freedom shouldn’t make you feel you can just up and do what you want to your host state.. can he go contest for governorship in Kano or katsina even if he had lived there for decades?? Leave people’s homes and states and let them decide who rules them.. 4 Likes 1 Share |

xevove2061: Based on what I have read, seen and heard, it’s not because his mother is Igbo. Based on his tweets against the yorubas and Always claiming to be an Igbo boy, the yorubas are not willing to just give him that chance due to worries he’s an IPOB apologist and his constant insults and demeaning remarks towards the Yoruba community. So the support from the Igbo community is seen as an act of trying to take over a Yoruba state by the igbos by proxy.. he messed up with his remarks and gestures. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Omoawoke:.. I can see reasons for the uproar against his candidacy.. his tweets are anti Yoruba and he thinks it’s funny? Why aspire to rule over people you always demean and don’t like.. since he denounced his father’s lineage, he should go contest in his mother’s home state. Lagos is a Yoruba land and remains so. He should stop playing to the gallery because the youths are clamoring for change. Thanks for the education 2 Likes 1 Share |

raskymonojendor: Now this is serious and now I get it.. thanks for the education.. his tweets are rather tribalistic and against common sense. Why would you aspire to rule people you constantly insult and demean? He’s not clean minded enough to handle such a situation as big as Lagos.. now I get it.. thanks 3 Likes |

raskymonojendor:.. This is strange.. if he’s Igbo then what gives him the right to run as governor in a Yoruba state? Lagos is not an opened state.. it’s owned by the yorubas and then made free for other Nigerian tribes and other nationalities to thrive in.. but I’m shocked because all I know about him is his father being a lagosian and him being Yoruba.. wow |
![]() |
Omoawoke:…. Please forgive me if I’m wrong but I was of the view that this GRV guy is a Yoruba man how come he’s been called Chinedu? Heard his father is Yoruba from Lagos so I’m confused.. can you please tell me why people call him Chinedu when he’s not from the Igbo community in Nigeria..thank you 2 Likes |

KingAzubuike:… Can we be factual for a moment? If the constant killings in southern kaduna and all forms of terrorism and insecurity was happening in UK and US the way it’s happening in Nigeria, will their government treat it with laxity the way our government treats it? I’m not condemning Nigeria as totally despicable just saying the access to good healthcare, security, amenities, respect for human rights and dignity is nothing compared to what is available in this same UK and US you’re comparing to Nigeria at the moment. 4 Likes |

When you see the happenings around you, you will understand their joy of this relocation thingy. Imagine the pain the family of that lawyer and thousands of southern kaduna families are feeling this period due to the high death rate in the country. Being successful is a good thing but being successful in an environment that supports instead of reduce you makes it better. How many hospitals rejected the woman who was shot yesterday before she finally died? Will that happen in the place they are right now? Make your checks and maybe you will understand the euphoria of their relocation. 16 Likes |

okeysoninv:.. Bro are you in Ghana at the moment and do you do exchange for you to be saying I'm lying? What will I gain from lying about what my reality is right now? Anyways I won't need to argue further.. I will like to know your exchange guy if you're in Ghana so I can use him too..but if you're not in Ghana please stop arguing. You're obviously using google converter. 2 Likes 1 Share |

okeysoninv:... Please I didn't say the exchange rate I only said 2000 cedis in likened to 200k. 2000 cedis is ghana's 200k so please stop saying what I didn't say. And for you to say 2000 cedis is 100k means you don't have your facts right also. 2000 cedis at the exchange is 140k naira.. 1000 naira is 14 cedis..except maybe you're using google converter which is wrong.. |

shortIGBOman:.. Yes sir we do.the rice ghanians eat is perfumed and parboiled. Doesn't take Time to even cook but its gummy unlike our rice..so most nigerians buy nigerian rice. Normally I think knorr cubes are what we use in nigeria the most for seasoning but over here its onga cubes so to get knorr here I buy a pack for 35 cedis which is like 3500 naira when in nigeria its 850 per pack..so you can get some naija stuffs here but its more pricy. |

brain54:.. Bro you know it very well. You won't believe how much I spend weekly!! My wife went to market recently and 2000 cedis had no impact!! I went to the kitchen and was like "babe you didn't go to the market again"? She went but bro a bag of nigerian rice now sells at 700 cedis in madina market and 25kg of vegetable oil sells at 600 cedis now how much is left? No matter how bad things are in nigeria, you won't say 200k naira won't stock your kitchen 27 Likes 2 Shares |

Jokerman:... As long as the coaches keep buying into the hype of fielding English players who are not up to standard over other nationals that will get the job done, the team will forever be mediocre...I don't know when the hold of what ferguson did will wash off...simply because he had luck with the class of 92 and was successful with them, the narrative keeps getting pushed as the status quo for all coaches...please how the hell is man utd in 2022 still playing people like rashford, maguire, shaw, mctominey? We still have phil jones in our books!!!! We won't go anywhere even If we get ten world class coaches in...look at the first eleven of liverpool and city and tell me how many english players start. 5 Likes |

post=115273364:... You actually still want apc to continue ruling this nation even after all the citizens are experiencing and going through? Are you happy with the security challenges, the economy dwindling and the rate of hardship everywhere? Please if you don't fear man, fear God now.. No one is stopping you from supporting your party but remember its the whole country another wrong decision will affect...it is well o 1 Like |

Oju4190:. The man is actually selfish..been like that for long. I remember when some students went to pay them a visit, his countenance was so mean . it seemed he was upset we came to his house.. His wife did all she could to make us comfortable but we got his message and she knew we did..been a very vile and self-centered person..with all his wealth, he couldn't just do the right thing and follow the right channel..his constituents can tell you better..they have no iota of development and yet he keeps rigging himself in to disenfranchise them... 2 Likes |

With all the wealth and comfort, she was actually kind and humble..i really do feel bad for them but the husband has been an issue..they should have gone through the right channel.. They have always been well to do. 21 Likes 3 Shares |

This is so sad..stop asking questions that have obvious answers...the nigerian system is not made to favour legit hustlers...when you look at how much has been stolen from this country by powers that be for over 40yrs, you will know that nigeria is rich but cursed with bad leadership... 1 Like |

I always thought y'all laughed hard at candidates supported by easterners...you always said whoever they supported failed so why are you happy they're endorsing your candidate? Are you not worried he will fail? Unless you're only doing this for the money you're being paid and not because you believe any thing you just wrote up there...be the judge |
