Why don't you enrol in a Postgrad diploma in Education? and use that as a route to PR?

You can get a skill assessment as a teacher with your Naija BSc + Aus Pgd, without work experience. Just do your 1yr (9mths) pgd, then apply for skill assessment onshore. Once you get a positive assessment, you can apply for 189 or 190.

Pgd is about 21k...but it is faster than diploma or masters, and gives you a higher qualification sef.

Good morning. Sorry for the late response bro. Do you mind sharing more info about the PGD thing? It's the first I'm hearing about it to be honest as regarding Australian PR route. Does it mean I'm not qualified for post study visa after the programme? What body does the assessment for this and all ? Do you have a specific school or city in mind? Please I'll appreciate a little more light thrown on this for me. Thank u again.

[quote author=bellong post=48446673]Jbonito,

I graduated from Ife, I know only the university runs that crazy course.

There is diploma in nursing too and I don't think your D7 in biology can be a disadvantage.

Thank you boss.. Crazy course indeed.. I was never aware there is diploma in Nursing.. I will try to find out more about it then and if you have any institution that offers it too, please do share sir... Any other info or advises will be deeply appreciated. Thank you so very much.

PPE triple honours, I guess you finished from Ife.

Since your profession is not on the occupation list, study option is another alternative available to you.

However, many people just believe once you study you automatically get a PR or the process is easier than applying straight. First, your course of study must be on the list, after your study apart from EA, you must get at least a year experience from the nominated occupation before you can get a positive assessment.

What study does is give you 5points.

For community service, aged care, youth worker, you only need AQF qualification for the occupation. If you want to do diploma, you can look into diploma in Youth work, lot of job opportunities there across the state or Diploma in Family, child and youth intervention or so..

Nursing is also a very good choice.

My advice is make sure whatever course you choose is on any of the occupation list and there are states sponsoring it.

Bro.. Thank you for the response.. You are right i graduated from Ife... How did you know though? Diploma in youth work, Diploma in Family , child and youth intervention sounds good to me as well , i have gone through some of these.. Nursing on the other hand, i do not know for sure if my SSCE is good enough for this or my academic background. I had a D7 in Biology..lol... Does that disqualify me from studying Nursing at Degree level in Aussie?

Based on my present finances and having no immediate sponsor... i think Diploma might be the immediate solution...

Hoping for another response from you Sir...

To be honest with you, I can't tell you what to do but i can give you information that will make you decide what to do.

Firstly, with the current continuous depreciation of the naira, It is a huge risk to attempt to come here to study if you don't have a back-up plan.
Finally, You need to study all the options you listed out yourself to see the opportunities it offers you and the financial costs to make a very informed Decision regarding your most suitable pathway to Australia... Cheers bro.

Thank you for the quick word regardless. Means a lot.. Just a quick one!!!... Do you have any idea if truly Advance diploma ish may lead to PR if that route is taken? It is cheaper for me, and since i can work a bit while studying, i can save as well... I just want to be sure i'm not being led on about this Advance diploma thing

Where do you people get "dem say" from?

If you can't save while you are at home, you wouldn't save if you are abroad irrespective of the country.

If you have read the thread, you would have seen that this question has been answered before.

Yes you can save and no you can't save. It depends on how flamboyant you want to live. Nothing stops you from saving.

Bros please take a look at my questions too and respond.. Na beg i beg

Regarding CDR:

You can use your Final Year Project. If you did a Design and Construction Project, You can Split the project into two Career Episodes; One Episode would focus on the Design while another would focus on the Construction.

Also, if you decide to write a Career Episode using your Internship, I honestly don't know if you'll be demanded to provide proof of any kind.

Finally, I hope you have either TOEFL or IELTS (General or Academic), they are the only accepted English Tests by Engineers Australia.

NOTE: Ensure You have your 'Original Bachelors Certificate' and Transcripts

Bro please reply my inquiries too.. Na ur face i dey look...

Autopartz:
You could go to www.autopartz.com.(Main site)

Select Acura(Make), TL(Model), then click on Rear light under 'Lighting' Category.

A list of registered suppliers in the Auto parts clusters displayed would be listed (Oyingbo, Ladipo , Agidingbi)

Selecting the exact year would fine tune the search.

You can then call any of them for your enquiry with the contact information they supplied.

We hope this helps.

Thank you very much. Very helpful. I have all the info's I need. Bless.

I don't feel like committing suicide but I am depressed. I have got family, I have got a good paying job(which I hate) but I am not happy . I am looking for something that I can't just figure out.

Have u tried thinking about doing things that used to make u happy? If u av a trusted friend try spending sometime with him/her talking about how u feel. Might just help.

you should mind what you say of people's parents online lest you anger the dead.

My mum is chilling in heaven right now, gracias, and I lost her at the young age of 10, but while she was alive, I had the best education, attended Holy Child College in Lagos, Joke Silva's alma mater. I changed my wardrobe every 3 months, went to the beach or chocolate royale and the likes over the weekend during holidays, hell, before her death, we were processing papers for a trip to Canada. She worked with the Lagos State Police Commissioner, so yes, I moved with blasting sirens.

My mother's legacy wasn't foolish, material things like clothes or make-up, it was priceless things like a brain, integrity and dignity. She never trained me to get attention with my looks, but with my brain. If many mothers were like mine, the world would not be filled with slutty, gold diggers who are okay with being told they are pretty, but with little or no brain recognition
