I felt my whole world crumbled because I had put in everything into the application. I immediately wrote a letter of appeal for reconsideration stating that I have over 10 years of experience and linking the main duties with the reference letter my employer gave me.

So sorry about your ordeal JPJ. As a fellow FG worker, this is close to home. And I know our duties are practically the same on paper even after several promotions (until directorate level).

In view of this, you need to get a new reference letter from your place of work. I would also suggest you provide a sample for the HR person highlighting requirements from IRCC plus job responsibilities over the past years, in bullet points, regardless of under which rank you were (these should align closely with your chosen NOC), then you can mention your promotion timeline altogether in a separate paragraph or leave it out all thesame.

This will make the reference letter more logical and straight forward without altering any of your roles or promotions.

Although I think this can be attempted to reopen the previous case, I dont know if it is too late. However, you can also try using this method for the new application.

This is my opinion, you can checkout possible ways around it from others.

lemme explain better.. I'm off for some days.. So I come back to this really addictive thread and I wanna catch up on past posts and bla bla and I'm seeing the same thing over and over again... As I'm reading I'm like it's either these people don't know how to research or dont actually innocently know they can get all these information themselves.

I've noticed it's something new.
U c a long post quote with pls can u send me the bla bla bla of the dr.?

I came online to actually drop transcripts of 3 of my friends from visa to delivery to hospital quotes. And a friends friend was deported. I cldnt even type cos I'm not ready for bombardment ( really really busy these days) since that's what's reigning

U get me now?

OMG!! I get you now. Pls those transcripts can save a soul. Pls kindly share. Ignore our bad behaviours. Lol.

Good morning my people grin

Okay I see a new trend and very new names.
Someone comes gives back even if it's a hospital that has been used here before... Some peeps jump out and start asking for email, number etc.

LEMME QUICKLY STATE THIS
THESE WOMEN JUST HAD BABIES, THEY ARE BREASTFEEDING MUMS.

For Christ sakes the hospital name has been mentioned, what will it take u to load ur phone and call.
Haba can't u Google Dr's affiliated with the hospitals? And call them getting quotes and all.?

Coming to drop feedbacks isn't compulsory let's not overwhelm those who do it.

AND I SEE ALOT OF NEW NAMES YOU GUYS DIDN'T GIST US NADA. YET YOU ARE "BOTHERING" SOMEONE WHO JUST GAVE BIRTH

You have contributed a whole lot to the knowledge base of this group. On beehalf of those that have benefited, thank you so much.

In as much as u speak the truth, I think the irritation should come from the persons involved (that is if they are).

Also you monitor who says what and when? You dont mean it. Lol.

Also in the same shoes, pls, return ticket to Houston is from 550k anyone with a cheaper option, minus Turkishair abeg. and when i read thru part 3 over the weekend, saw them complaining abt 300/350k ticket (this was oct/nov/dec 2015), i culdnt help but laugh

Pls what do you think the problem is with Turkishair? I know two pregnant ladies that used them in the past week and it was alright. You might want to reconsider considering you can get for as low as $1150.

Happy New year my wonderful people. I have been a silent follower and all the information i got here helped me through my poe which was smooth at Washington airport. Actually staying here to deliver having considered overall expenses here and in Houston which I had planned to port to. Dr's fee here is reasonable $2050 including VD, all lab test n Routin OB care. Hospital estimate is about + or -$4k. (Praying all things work together for my good.)
Pls does anyone know if it's only embassy notary that is acceptable within maryland and DC or others too.
Also a contact of any notarian in Port Harcourt will help.

@babymandy Hope ure alright and prepping for delivery. Pls can u kindly inform on the name of hospital and dr. u are using. Thanks
