Is it by duration or what.
Eg. I saw fitness and promotion which is 2yr diploma program but I can't really say if its pgdiploma or normal Diploma.

If it's Post Graduate, you will see something like PGC or Ontario College Graduate Certificate. But, for diploma you will boldly see it on the school's website that it's written as Diploma or Adv diploma.

Since you already have a 2:2, kindly go for a post graduate diploma or post graduate certificate. If you go for Diploma or Advanced Diploma, the VO might be concerned why you're going for a degree lower than the one you already had EXCEPT in rare cases where you wanna change career.

I used my account statement earlier and I observed from my CBSA notes that the VO mentioned that I had low to moderate transactions as the reason for refusal. I would like to ask, can I put all my money in fixed deposit and use the certificate to re-apply?

What i senses here is that, your account lacks a good financial transactions. You barely transact with your account. V.O are humans, they're not just concerned about the money in your account but, they wanna know how healthy that account is considering the balance inside it.

I requested the GCMS and here is the note:

She had a lump sum of 8M deposited into her account from my mum as a gift, this was explained in the LOE, mother provided a notarized gift letter as well as an affidavit of relationship and support. She has about 1.2M in her mutual fund account.
Total funds in Naira is 9M for a 1-year program in NB

Total available funds after first-semester tuition is 27,000CAD
1 year of study, the remaining tuition for the second semester is about 5,000 CAD, bringing the remaining funds for living expenses to 22,000 CAD.

Please how do I address this concern for the next application?

I applied since February using Uba. I haven’t been debited and now I’m seeing this TCC thing as a new requirement everywhere 😫😫🤷🏼‍♂️.

Please, try and get the TCC and upload it on your portal. Btw, UBA are atill debiting for January, last date was on the 25th, so you still need to be extra patient.

Please who knows about UBA, filled mine on the 28th of January, 2023 up till this moment it is still on ADB_REVIEWER. No sign of debit or status change on my portal.

I visited this country last year and spent two weeks there. From my personal experience, Singapore is a well organized, clean/neat country. Cost of living is high (no be poor man country), their currency has a very good value. I exchanged my $100 USD for $135 SID. They have a lot of tourist attraction centers you can visit such as Garden by the bay, Chinese town, Their temple (where they worship -for buddhist sha). Three race makes up Singapore (the chinese, indians and malaysians). I traveled with an e-visa and returned back even before my visa expiration. Don't think of overstaying your visa expiration date else OYO (you go suffer lol), i know two Nigerians who tried to japa from there, nobody tell them to locate Changi airport begin come back lol.

Heard it now takes between 7days to 120days before debit can be initiated, so please share your experience of how days it took before you were debited. Thank you.

So sorry Joe for the refusal. I believe they do not recognize the funds from the digital assets sold, to them it look like fund just raise for demonstration purposes, if you have taxes paid on them, it will to some extent show that fund were made from a recognized source. Then the fact that you applied 10 days after you receive the funds after the completion of the POF was also a reg flag. if your resumption date is still far, I think you should let the funds stay in your account for a while so that your ownership would have been adequately conferred on them before resubmitting the application.

I have a question, Yes i know that crypto is not legalized in Nigeria, so i am just wondering what one would now tell the VO what he does for a living esp if trading of crypto/digial assets is the person's source of income.

Sorry for the refusal, as a self sponsored applicant you have to show enough funds to cover your full tuition and living expenses for the duration of the programme and travel expenses

Total funds= 25,486
less Tuition to be paid = 11,000
Funds available = 14,486

Whereas you are supposed to have =10,000 for 1 year living expenses
Travel expenses = 2,000
Miscellaneous = 2,000
Total = 14,000
less available funds = 14,486
in effect your POF is just a fraction higher than what you need, with no room for error. So it is too close to the threshold since you are sponsoring your self.

Typically you should be showing minimum of about $30,000.

I included the evidence of the first semester tuition deposit i made, i submitted my CAC cert, tax clearance & past transactions with clients. As for Lump-sum (I don't think there are any), my account is always busy- money goes in and out on a daily basis.
