Health / Re: BREAKING: Nigeria Records New Ebola Cases by jeddyMay(f): 1:30pm On Aug 22, 2014
eaglechild: The minister's system of giving information is utterly confusing and very shady.

The minister reeks of incompetence.

The media houses are also compounding issues.

There should be a central source of information.

he claimed few days ago that no NEW cases, now he is saying two and we should ignore Idris' figure

by weekend or monday, he will add to the figure

Government officials always politicise every thing including such a case like Ebola undecided lipsrsealed

Because in their country, there are public toilets at every corner so you have no reason to do that on the street but naija is just the opposite of that i.e. there are no public toilets so you have all reasons to do that on the street at every corner.

Politics / Re: Obasanjo Accuses Jonathan Of Promoting Corruption by jeddyMay(f): 1:50pm On Dec 11, 2013
Corruption is now a normal way in GEJ administration and its becoming alarming.
i have serious fear for 2015; by God' grace and all things been equal, will not be in this country come 2015.

@OBJ, he is actually not a saint either......... we all know how the story of Tafa Balogun, Alameseigha, FFK etc......... yes, EFCC was effective back then but truly, it was used as WatchDog against his opponents.
Politics / Re: Obasanjo Accuses Jonathan Of Promoting Corruption by jeddyMay(f): 1:39pm On Dec 11, 2013
here: While Mbeki even organised a declaration stating a virus cannot cause a syndrome and refused the people access to the drugs and about 330,000 lost their lives from the ailment,Madiba said "he believes in the dominant opinion that prevails throughout the world, that HIV is the cause of AIDS, adding that he would only be persuaded otherwise if new scientific research showed "conclusively that that view is wrong.""...He neither wrote a letter to the government/ANC nor did he publicly attack the person of Mbeki

in essence, what r u trying to say undecided

Celebrities / Re: Tiwa Savage And T-Billz's Traditional Wedding Video by jeddyMay(f): 8:53am On Dec 06, 2013
infiniteloop: Wow...I made it for the very first time to comment.

I didn't watch the video and I don't care much actually. However, I must be very grateful for this moment. It comes rarely. All praises and adoration to God. I also will like to thank my family for the support for all the years.

My friends have been very great too. They are best. What else can I say?! I want to thank my pastor. Well, thank MTN for the good network this afternoon.

Thank Seun Osewa for taking his time to build Nairaland. It shall be with him. I will also like to appreciate every grandma. She is the best. I really hope she can see this. I finally made it.

To every Nairalander out there who's never experienced FTC, don't worry. Keep praying and working hard. Believe in yourself. Don't ever give up. You see there is a story of young man in the early 19th century who held on to his dreams of great accomplishment. It took him years and his friends mocked him. But in all, he made it.

I mean think of Tonto Dike and all the hates she gets from the social media, she is still pushing. That's the kind of determination and effort I want you to put in getting FTC.

Don't also forget. Prayer is the key. Don't every forget to pray. It works wonders. And keep believing.

Before I leave, I ll love to dedicate this great accomplishment to somebody special. So special to me. She is a person of Beverly of BBA. This goes to you. I love you, baby.

Thanks, guys. And I love you.

If anyone has issue with this accomplishment, he should take his bath, take a bike and hug the nearest transformer. I ll donate the bike money.

Playing: Started from the bottom.

You guyz can eat out once in awhile , other times you cook, he cooks(that's if he can, if not u bear it all) either way,we all know that as a girl you wil do the cooking more wink

Why would a guy disrespect you cause you cook for him once in a while For some guyz if not most, its the fastest way to their hrts o

Still I don't expect guyz to force their gfs to cook for them if they don't wana

so this is supposed to justify the bulletproof cars?
cheesy

people in far more sensitive ministries with portfolios that are way more controversial have not been shot at, its now this one awarding inflated contracts to do shoddy repairs of bus stations called airport that will be shot at?

they shot at your car on Friday, you reported on Monday!....... seriously? serving minister?

and this person that shot had only 1 bullet? and this bullet was shot and it is not recognizable until we do "ballistic tests"?

and is "ballistic test" needed to identify a bullet or rather decipher where it was shot from and identify which gun was used?

why do we have dumb people in government?

Education / Re: ASUU Leaders Chase Kogi Governor Away From Hospital by jeddyMay(f): 11:41am On Nov 14, 2013
Nosyke: Sometime last year this same Governor's convoy was involved in a ghastly auto accident, his ADC died while he sustained injuries. Now this year, another accident same Governor's convoy different victim-Prof Iyayi . Now my question is, is this concincidence or some systemic recklessness of Governor Idris Wada's convoy?
How is it that the same leaders 'we' voted rigged into power have turned back to gradually kill us through their acts of ommission or commission. Most political appointees from the House of Assembly members to the Ministers, even Local Government chairmen have made themselves infamous by having humoungous terror dissipating convoys and entourage. Once they get into power, they isolate themselves from 'commoners' and instead of assuaging our pains, they inflict more of it. I have seen a Local Government chairman's convoy with over 15 cars, siren blaring, and gun wielding policemen. Isnt the LG chairman supposed to be a grassroot leader?

Reports have it that the British prime minister goes to work with minimal entourage, sometimes even joins the train. The Norwegian prime minister sometime ago in order to feel the pulse of the 'ordinary' citizen had to resort to taxi driving. Are our leaders more exposed than these 2 mentioned leaders? is our country more developed?

Well, this incident made news because an 'influential academic' was involved but many other 'non-influential' citizens have been killed from such official highhandedness and recklessness but they didnt make news.

RIP Prof Iyayi

Rightly said......... All govt officials have long convoy with reckless drivers like Wada' case, in which commoners are usually d victim of Their stupidity...... Oh! Lord, pls keep my family& I from stupidity of our corrupt leaders
