Coolcash1: Coolcash, even at that, its a huge ROI In 2000, 10 million naira was 95,238 USD using parallel market exchange rate and today, the 450M naira is around 933,000 USD. Its almost 900% return in 21 years which is not bad. 3 Likes |

Ades1:I guess the 20M is even lenient. I think its min of 50M naira for OMO and also min of $200k for Eurobonds. Guess, a lot of Nigerians have it and that is why they are usually oversubscribed. |

will007:When u see oil prices crashing and u have forex u don’t want to put in equities, the best thing to do is to lock it up in dollar funds to at least preserve your capital from losing value after devaluation. It’s also a way of diversifying your assets and for someone that also have forex expenses. 5 Likes |

BrokerHaruna:You are even lucky in Nigeria, for example, in Pakistan and Lebanon, you have restrictions on the dollars in your dorm account. Imagine someone telling you how you can spend the dollars you source for and deposited in your bank account and many other countries have such restrictions as well but in Nigeria, you still have unlimited restrictions on the wired dollars in your dollar account. I hope our situation won’t get worse to that of other countries. 2 Likes |
