kcnwaigbo: You missed one thing. There is nothing like President Tinubu as at Today. We are not even sure he will make it out of the Paris hospital.
Your primary concern for now will be for the 86yr old grand pa to make it out of hospital alive and not how to "punish" igbos by "denying" them useless NASS positions that add no real value to anyone Definitely, they should be concerned about his health status. |

Rufai is not going down,he's one of the best in the business. Politicians in Nigeria hate questions concerning areas that will expose their dark side and that's the angle that distinguish a good journalist from a bad one. Ask them questions that the audience wants to know their answers, rather than asking silly questions just to get glorifications from them. Why are you guys so concerned about the questions he asked him,are you not ashamed to be covering up for this thieves that stole your rights! I always said it that for Nigeria to be great must start from the youths. The youths have the destiny of this country at hand but some are still covered by the cloth of tribalism which affect their reasoning. Call a spade a spade and be professional in discharge of your duties without fear or favour, this quality is the reason I like tuning to Arise TV to listen to Rufai. 17 Likes 2 Shares |

ronalmagic10: If something bad happens in Lagos he will blatantly call out Lagos in his speech
Now the fraud has seen how lp and apga members in his state were throwing bottles at each other killing and injuring themselves the idiot now says Nigeria
Why can't he be specific and mention anambra state?
Ode
I'm happy apga won majority in anambra. Soon elup will fade off as kwankwaso predicted
After all the noise look at their shameful performance
The likes of psquare rather than go back to anambra to vote elup they stayed in Lagos causing havoc buy God has shamed you all
Anybody igbos support politically is a failure. You don't need their region to win.
Never again will igbos dictate anything in Lagos. From June 1st we'll start dealing with them mercilessly aturu muru ebule gba aka nwa. Not by mouth but when it starts don't run. |

NaijaCowFarm: I am not happy that Peter Obi did not win. There are clear fundamental factors that were so herculean to overcome the very moment LP/NNPP alliance failed. Now that Atiku is seemingly out of the way, it is time to galvanise the opposition towards 2027. It is going to be a marathon, so let us start now. There is no point wasting resources on election tribunal. With the capacity shown by Obi, 2027 is possible, but we need to do the following:
1. Not waste time and resources on election tribunal, but need to let Nigerians know of the brazen robbery APC governors and Wike perpetrated. If the PDP wants to challenge the results, let them do so themselves, without involving LP
2. Get real political structure for Labour Party across Nigeria. One reason we loss was because we did not have strong roots in the North.
3. Galvanise all elected officials to form a formidable force to take on APC, which is already reduced in strength from 21 to 12 states.
4. Peter Obi and LP should focus on the March 11, 2023 governorship polls. Obi should begin touring states LP won to boost morale of LP supports in the 22 states win high voters. Not waste resources in states like Katsina, Yobe, Zamfara.
5. LP leadership should begin talks with NNPP, progressive still in PDP and form a formidable party with structure, just like what ACN/CPC did. We need to start now. STORY |

You are very wrong. The impossible is actually Tinubu, a regional untrustworthy politician winning the federal election. Tinubu is actually the opposition, while Peter Obi is the ruling party. owobokiri: The political revolution going on as we speak in igboland will NEVER be completed, until every single one of these foreign implanted political mercenaries parading around as Igbo leaders, is chased out of town and out of relevance. Igbo leaders must pursue Igbo interests no matter whose ox is gored!
They are of no use , this generation of confused elders nwill do anything to ingratiate themselves to their handlers at Abuja. I remember Rochas Okorocha openly preaching to the public at a rally in Imo State in 2014 to vote for Buhari, because according to him, Buhari will treat igbos better than Jonathan! That didn't happen and the fat thing has moved on like he never said anything! Meanwhile thousands have died from Owerri to Onitsha as a result..
There are many of them who run the collective politics of a group like personal fiefdom, simply because they were crowned at Abuja and injected into broader Igbo politics to instigate upheavals at every turn. The Ihediohas, the Nnamanis, the Orji Kalus, Emeka offors, the Andy Ubas and co.. , Arthur Eze just happen to be the big Evil face of the group. He has been playing this game for eons. His cup should be full years back.
For the east to make a rapid socioeconomic move forward, these fulani proxies need to be rendered politically impotent. Society must castrate them! Their ballooning egos must be punctured and they must be humbled. The former Eastern Nigeria can never rediscover her destiny if she does not find a very effective way of wrestling her politics away from the firm grip of these turncoats and renegades.. good point 1 Like 1 Share |

lagbaja: While Ngige met the IGR of Anambra in 2003 at roughly N800m, he grew the IGR to N3.6B in 2004 and N7.4Billion in 2005 before he was removed from office in March 2006 in favour of Peter Obi. Obi would not match the 2005 performance of Ngige in IGR until 2012, his sixth year in office. At the end of his final full year in office in 2013, Anambra’s IGR was just 18% better than it was in 2005.
Obi’s record does not look any better when contrasted with his successor, the incumbent governor. 2014 saw the IGR grow by 50% from N8.7B to N12.8B. Obiano by its 7th in 2020 generated in N28B. Obiano had more than quadrupled Anamabra’s IGR in seven years while Obi only grew it by 18% in eight years. While Anambra was fully dependent on federal allocation when Obi became governor AND when he left, Obiano is leaving Anambra as one of the three states BudgIT says “could meet their operating expenses obligations with a combination of their IGR and Value Added Tax (VAT).
