You are indeed a brother! Thanks for you advice. I with think through again.

Mobil567:
Yes, it will be subtracted from the total tuition. However, I advise you to study a (2) year program than (1) year in Sweden.

With (1) year, you only get 10 months visa which disqualifies you from getting a PERSONAL NUMBER. Without this number, it’s more like you don’t exist in the system. Accessing services or even finding work is a hassle.

But the most important advise, why come to sweden to study law? You have to be 100% fluent in Swedish to practise in that area, and you have to go through the license process. 10 months program will not give you the time, & you will be stranded. The rules for work permit is also changing, we don’t know yet what they will implement but government wants to crack down on eg things like masters graduate doing restaurant work just to get permit. Basically about employers abusing work rights for desperate permit seekers.

So if you think about it, is it really paying 93,000sek with so much uncertainties on how to stay back after studies? Why not consider the uk where you get 2 years post study that’s buys you enough time to sort yourself? 93,000sek is like 9,300 euros…. If you add a little more money you can find a low cost uni in Uk.
From Uk, throw your net on Canada EE or other immigration routes if they’re still on.. before 3-4 years if your stay, you will get a response. That’s if you don’t already even find a job to extend your stay in Uk. Just my opinion but Goodluck

Mobil567:
There’s no program with such semester tuition rate in sweden. The cheapest is around 34,000sek. You must have applied to an individual course (that is part of a one year programme). Check properly or drop a link here for clarification.

I think you are correct. I just checked again. Here is the link https://www.umu.se/en/education/courses/human-rights-law/

I think it is part of this Master programme;

Master's Programme in Constitutional Law and Human Rights60 Credits, Umeå University, Location: Umeå
Course/programme information
First tuition fee instalment: 46,500 SEK*
Total tuition fee: 93,000 SEK*

One more question, will the SEK 46,500 be substracted from the total tuition fee SEK 93,000? Does SEK 93,000 cover the entire tuition fee for the one year programme? Here is the link https://www.umu.se/en/education/master/master-program-in-constitutional-law-and-human-rights

Thank you for your help.

God bless you!

Please, I am applying for Umea University and below is my application and tuition fee:

Application fee SEK 900
Tuition fee, first instalment SEK 23,250
Total fee SEK 23,250

Please, what does the above mean? Does it mean the first intalment is SEK 23, 250 and once I paid that I will not need to pay another fee or it is just for a Semester (my course is a one year Masters course)

Or Does the total fee of SEK 23,250 means the total fee or all the fee I am going to pay for the duration of the cost (for the one year masters )?

I am a bit confused and I need your help. I went through all the thread and realise this the cheapest fee I have found and I dont know if I am missing something.

Thank you.

Please, Nairaland, has anybody done business with http://tribalmarkremoval..com/ with official number as 0818 723 5120? I ordered for their products which they claim clean tattoo and tribal marks and paid the sum of 20k into a personal account given to me on the promise that the product would be delivered to me. It's a week now the product has not been delivered. To make matters worse, they don't pick my call anytime I call them with my line or reply to my message via WhatsApp. After trying for a week, someday finally picked my call and said I would have to pay another money precisely N7500 to get the product delivered to me. I insisted that I would only pay, this time around, upon delivery but he refused. He ended the call. Till now he doesn't pick his call or reply to several messages I sent via WhatsApp and even text message. What do I do? Has anyone transacted business with them? I don't know their office and even when I asked they refused to reveal to me. Am I scammed? Please, help me!

The person isn't picking my call or responding to his chat. He later picked his call and said I would have to pay another money to have my product delivered to me after I had paid 20k. He looks like a scam to me. Please, let me know your experience with them.

Instead of you to pray that you are selected, you are here attacking the person who updated you.

Some Nigerians have been called for interview and some have already been interviewed since the beginning of this week.

Now, no need to fear because the interview is being done on batches till February, so, if you are not called for an interview now, that doesn't mean you might not be called later. You would have done yourself a whole load of good if you checked out the page he recommended. Nairaland is not the only place you can get information.

I didn't attack him or anybody who updated the house with useful information. Read the my post very well, I only requested that he state the source of his information or better still he should post the link here for the benefit of all. Do you call that attack or is it too much to do considering that there are many here who never saw that updates?

All the same, I wish the entire house success! God you all!

I don't owe you such favour. You can choose to believe what you like.

Lol! You think seriously that you are doing me a favour by posting the source of your information? I don't think so my brother....we are all here to either share or get information for the good of all of us. On the other hand, if you feel comfortable sticking to or hoarding your information or refusing to post the source as the case may be , please do so. We are only concerned about the spread of unverified and misleading info in this platform...God bless you!

Some Nigerians have been invited. Join Yali Network face2face group on facebook. You will get all the updates you need.

Oga, kindly post the link where you saw it. I checked and there was nothing like that. In fact, people are advised to be patient and that invites will be sent in the coming "weeks". If you saw where it was posted that Nigerians have started receiving invites, for the benefit of all, send the link or post the exact place you saw it.

Thanks.

I was a bit worried when I checked last year's. Most of them got their letter of invite or rejection in December. I was curious and got to ask. All the same it's just alright to put our trust in God especially now that things have changed. I Still believe with God everything is possible.

Well, this is really serious. But I understand Obama tried to institutionalise the program so that successive US Presidents can continue. I do not know if he has done that. At this point, we are have to seriously pray. I wish us all the best of luck.

Yes. I fell under entrepreneurship category.

With your application,I think you answered few questions, right? You must have done something in your community. How did you achieve that goal? Your answer would guide them the question you will be asked so,you can't be smart always.

I don't want to go into personal details on your last question but if you read between the lines, you would get why they asked me that question.

As I said earlier, you are not expected to bring any document except proof of identity.

Alright. Thanks. I got friends that applied last year but were not called for the interview (second round). What do you think was the problem? What do they required in the application process? Those friends of mine applied in the entrepreneurship and civil leadership categories but non of them was called.

You should be able to defend what you said in your application. Body language matters alot. To be frank, you can't really know what they want but they know who is really telling the truth about his/her accomplishment.

From my own interview,I was asked the source of funds in carrying out my projects and how much I bought each equipment distributed. I fumbled,my expenditure was far higher than my capital. Is that possible.? NO. You can see I wasn't prepared enough or I lied.

Just be prepared, that's all. Its not a do or die affiar but an experience that would help and guide one in future endeavours.

OK. That's very kind of you. God will see us through this time around. Just a question, did you apply for the Entrepreneurship category? You talked about equipment and capital. Also, presenting of documents or proof of your work is it compulsory?
