Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Gap Teeth A Reason For Disqualification In Bank Interviews? by Jimgan8: 6:06pm On May 27, 2020
A teeth gap is neither a criteria for short listing nor for employment. Do not make banking your only focus also try other establishments too to create more chances for yourself. Meanwhile you may need to reassess your performance at the interview and discuss with a buddy or other experienced person to advise you further.

Also not forget, depending on the bank, the NAIJA factor cannot be ruled out. Have faith and pray, success awaits you.

Career / Re: Should I Expose Them? by Jimgan8: 6:52pm On May 21, 2020
What is good is good & what is bad is bad. If you are clean & in charge of finances. Your duty is to report. Before doing that you should gather incontrovertible evidences to support your claim. Be truthful and use wisdom. Take a decision now before you become an alibi by association.
Career / Re: Differences Between: Sack, Lay-off, Retrenchment And Fire. by Jimgan8: 5:53pm On Apr 29, 2020
Sack is used in instances where an employee has commited serious offences against his employer.
Layoff is used where the employer lacks the capacity, for any reason, to continue to shoulder the payments of wages & salaries hence have to shed this line of cost.
Retrenchment is like sack. The offences involved here may be mild to moderate but not as serious as in sack.
Fired. This is grammatically incorrect but in local parlance use to refer to sack because of the high intonation with which it is communicated.
For avoidance of doubt the appropriate words to use in descending order of severity are; termination, dismissal and resignation.
Health / Re: COVID-19: Kutlwano Selaledi Commits Suicide Over 28-Day Lockdown In Botswana by Jimgan8: 5:18pm On Apr 16, 2020
This is what is called rationalisation in the fraud triangle. Attempting to justify wrongful acts. All I know is that freewill has limit & nature cannot be cheated.
Politics / Re: Did IMF Exclude Nigeria From 25 Nations Granted Debt Relief? (Fact Check) by Jimgan8: 5:11pm On Apr 16, 2020
Punch Newspaper? Always half here, half there. Thanks for clarification. The country is exposed to China & World Bank, but debt relief should not be the country's focus. Rather the government should provide succour to the citizen from this stay at home
