Omooba77: Sure you'll find a point to defend yourself, so your assumed expansion now have you the 65% completion right ![]() Weldone... for your information, Lagos-Ibadan express way is my everytime route (every weekend) and I've been plying that road since 2007. So please, find yourself another excuse to give. Thank you.. Oh..before I go, I can't forget in a hurry 2013 when the grand launching of the award of contract to Julius Berger and RCC was done at the Sagamu Interchange. Well that was the last we heard of it till this administration came in and commenced work. I know you have response to that also. Help yourself to learn better... https://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/07/jonathan-declares-open-reconstruction-of-n167bn-lagos-ibadan-road/ |

smellingmenses: Which truth abeg, can't you just fear your future if you can't fear God, a project that was not even touched till the present administration came on board. Haba!!! why are we doing this to ourselves. It's actually not helping us at all... |

silifat11: He actually did, continuous laying of asphalt on the State Government Road in Challenge... |

princeade86: And Unilorin is state owned ba?? |

jaxxy: So you mean for the past over 3 and a half years, this administration have not done a thing. Okay, I have nothing to say again. |

gamaliel9: There are indices on ground to show, now before you ask me for proof, maybe you should drop your proof that counters that there's no indices of growth. However, many people come on nairaland with the ignorance of the obvious simply because they want to be on the opposite side of the table (am sure you can only see from that view sha) As much as I hate borrowing, I'll appreciate it if it's helping in terms of capital development which will in turn create the necessary results that push the nation forward. The obvious are there flying around us, let's see them with unbias minds. The current administration is not the best, but they are trying hard to get it right. |

Whynotthetruth: Lol, with all evidences and facts plus figures flying the cyber space you still want somebody to come and massage your ignorant post I guess. If you say the economic policies of the Buhari administration is poor, that's because you are not benefiting directly, it's understandable as your lots can't see it because you are blinded by what you understand which is get it quick not minding the future. Mind you those who the economic policies are helping won't come in nairaland to wail, they'll rather enjoy themselves in peace silently. Whether economic policy that Jonathan had was so good that they had to keep borrowing money to service recurrent expenditures rather than capital. Buhari meets recessions because his predecessors creates one before he comes around. Nigeria is getting better, you can choose to keep you blind sight to it, but those that are seeing it will keep seeing it. Lol, majority of those that are seeing it are the ones that'll come out to vote not you lots that will hide your face in your rooms on election days. Have fun. |

jaxxy: I tell people something, achievements of this administration can only be seen by people who choose to see them, and then what we choose to see as achievements differs. We like the get it quick mentality and we don't appreciate processes except results (quick ones) but most times the best results are the ones with carefully planned and executed processes. These are things the current administration is doing. It's left to those who want to see it to see or don't. Those that are seeing and benefiting are doing so. 1 Like |

Olukat: That a rail line was meant to move iron ore and other minerals doesnt mean it can't move people sir, i don't even see the correlation sef. So you mean a railway line can just be solely developed for cargo alone without at least a coach being for people. O ga ooo |

Olukat: Innitiate new projects with lots aboundoned project lying everywhere. I understand.... |

If you look deeper into their gimmicks, you'll realize they are just setting a foundation for this guy to come in 2023. Let's all watch and see. 3 Likes |

Butterflyleo: You've been doing a great job sir, I salute your courage. Its very evidentful that we can't all sleep and face the same direction. People with diverse point of view and interpretation of gestures. I don't blame those who don't see anything good in what the current government is doing, we all have a past and some people are just so stuck in it that it'll be hard for them to get over. I for one is an entrepreneur (for those who truly understand what it means anyway) and I must say, if you can package your idea well, you have the best market in the world to sell it despite any condition the country is. But we are in a country where we are so used to bail outs, cheap and free money/incentives. It's hard for someone who is not of like mind to see your vision. And it takes more than a binoculars to see into the future. Please keep up the good work sir, your likes and many others like you are needed in the country in order to keep our dear land moving. PS: For the conditional transfer, I'm so aware of when it started, at the beginning, most beneficiaries believed it was a state owned programme, I guess it's a reason why the FG had to announce to the world that it's their project. 1 Like |

Though Saraki has his faults, this is by far the best response I've ever seen. So detailed and full of facts. This is superb. |

Acjohn: Actually I'm not particularly moved because I understand my religion more and I can speak very well about it. Permit me to ask this question, are all Christains Saints? If your response is not in the affirmative then you got the response to your questions too. That's 1, 2, like I said, you are educated, please I'll like you to know when a propaganda is being propagated by the powers that be too deceive the gullibles and feeble minded into them committing what should not. If Islam is not a religion of peace, then why do we have a whole lot of Christains going to Qatar, Dubai, the UAEs, Saudi Arabia and other Islamic countries. I'll implore you not to judge a whole religion by the misdeeds of a few who are not even up to a parltry 1% of the entire lots. Every race, tribe, culture, religion has its own bad heads, and don't be deceived, majority of them are being sponsored by some highly influential lots because of gains best known to them. And this is not far fetched as those who they are able to be used and not previledged in many ways, financially, morally, academically and most of all spiritually. They are just very ignorant and will swallow every thing they are fed with as long as it is coming with a price. Let's always use our writings and talks to promote peace, we gain nothing from hatred as the person you fighting this hour may be your benefactor in the next minute. Salam... |

Acjohn: I know you had to do this to gain likes, it's understandable because with your construct of sentences, it's obvious you are learned, so based on these I'll believe you understand what you wrote. Firstly, it's only okay for you to learn more about something you have little or no knowledge about before you make assertions. With your kind of exposure, you should be able to know between directions. No one is blaming you for choosing christainity as a religion, it's your choice, but it's not bad if you can do your research about Islam too before you draw up your conclusions. People of your intelligence level should make the world a better place with your utterances rather than spread information based on incomplete and half baked knowledge about a phenomena. "Allah says, search for me (know me), before you worship me". He also said, seek for knowledge even if it is as far as the sun. Islam is indeed a religion of peace, if you have any reservations about the religion, blame the practitioners, not the religion. Please put your leisure time to use by reading and learning beyond your scope. It'll help you greatly and those around you. By the way, Jesus (Prophet Isa (AS)) is a prophet of God, Islam recognizes him and he was sent to his people during his lifetime just as other prophets too were. He also spread his belief (religion) which made him influential with his influence still dominant till now and the followers of his belief on the increase. We need to make the world a better place by learning more about what we don't have knowledge about instead of causing chaos with our utterances. Salam (peace). 1 Like |

The Federal Government is playing a very smart one this time, trying to surpass that of NASS by publicly listing the irregularities metted by the latter. But I would have expected that as a matter of trying to be open by the FG, they present a detailed list of the inclusions made by the NASS, with that we would be able to understand the extent they have gone. I think its getting obvious where our problems as a country is coming from. Will be waiting for a response from the NASS. God Bless Nigeria. #thisisnigeria. 6 Likes |

wakaman: Lol, don't mind these people, they'll say anything to gain attention. Just like they said, everyone needs opportunity, so when they see any opportunity to bash who they don't like, they use it. Opportunity, privilege, chance...all these are luxuries that works perfectly if you are fully prepared for them. Prepared in body, mind and soul cos you may have all of them and still fail getting things done. And then as such, your life belongs to you, and you are always on your own, that you have benefactors and pillars to hold on to when trying to live is good and that is because these lots are willing and ready to take up the responsibilities cos if they which not too, they won't and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it. It's life, it's yours and you are always responsible for it. 1 Like |

Lol, just a page of comments so far, but if it were APC or PDP, Buhari & Jonathan...the thread will be trolling with unnecessary comments that cannot move more than where it was created. Anyways back to the post though, these are nice points understandable only by like minds. Running a business is not a child's play and only dedicated, focused and refreshed minds can scale the hurdles. I hope and pray entrepreneurs and intendees abide by them. Peace. |

faceURfront: That is not hard at all though, if you are also in Ogun state, Abeokuta to be precise, there's Metros Rice and it's sold at #11,500/bag for 50kg and there are other sizes too like 25kg and so on. For people that still fail to see something good coming out of Nigeria, am just really ashamed of you as the only set of people to make Nigeria great are Nigerians. I don't know why we are never able to appreciate our own effort instead we condemn it. And this lots are people that have their own personal business they run. I just don't understand. Abi, can you keep buying Italian suits and neglect your local tailors, or Italian footwears and deny our local manufacturers. Let's change our mentality, it's not about APC or PDP or politics, its about Nigerians. Let's always put this at the back of our heads. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Nigerians Ehn!!!, always negative in reasoning, not surprised though. If the case were AIT opened a new station in Bornu, they'll say Dokpesi is using that to appease Buhari, but then what can I say. Fact, businesses are springing up, young and creative minded people are creating and manifesting opportunities, please stay there and complain all your life, it's your time you are wasting. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Many people on this platform will rather ignore facts and chase fictions. When people are harnessing the good policies the government is dishing out with opportunities everywhere, some turn their blind sides to it and continue to criticize the government. Now when opportunity door closes, they rant that the government has done nothing. I feel you don't know the government has done a lot on agricultural revolution, wait until your close friend drives a G-Wagon pass you and tells you he got it via the proceeds from his farm, am sure you'll cry fowl that it is yahoo money. Just yesterday I went to the market to get rice and got variance in price, the expensive one was the imported while the cheaper was made in Nigeria, as a Nigerian that I am, I dashed for the Nigerian rice. Metrous Rice is still fast selling in Ogun State while am sure that of Lake Rice is moving in Lagos. Sit down in one corner of your room and see your friend pass you with opportunities they saw in the current government. A short word is enough for the wise. Peace. 2 Likes |

Mynd44: This is a very plain point a lot of people are overlooking. Lol, it's 29th day of January today and just barely 12months to the elections. Sure propaganda will be the order of the day when candidates starts showing themselves, but with the current force APC has at its disposal, any opposition will only try. I'll though advice we all get our PVC ready. 3 Likes |

Goke7: Infrastructures, roads, these he did, may not be in your own area, but in others. You complain because it's not in the areas you mentioned, yes it's understandable, but dont forget, he can't touch all in 8years, other successors will play their parts. |
![]() |
Goke7: What always comes to my mind when issues like this occur is that you complain because you feel some of axis of the state is not being attended to. You have your reasons fine and I appreciate that, but need I remind you that if it's this areas you pointed out that's been done and some other part are neglected, those ones too will have something to talk about. I do say something, you can't know the situation more than who's handling the affairs, sure you'll think you know, but you don't. These people have a blueprint you don't have access to,, they have their facts and statistics you probably do not know about, so I'll implore you to be calm as the wind of development is sweeping across the state, so just relax and we'll all enjoy. NB: The State fairing well in terms of industrialization, and there's still more to come. 1 Like |

Goke7: Every community needs a visionary leader, not just Ogun State, as of now, we are proud of who's there, he's not the best, but he has tried a lot. Yes, he concentrated efforts in Abeokuta, please where will you beautify first in your house if not your living room as Abeokuta is the Capital City. Other developmental strides are on going in other LGs and he made this according to the areas perculiarity i.e. farming in Yewa, but people won't talk about them. Lagos didn't get to its level in a day, it's the continuation of succesive government. Ogun will get there, it's just a matter of time and commitment to progress. 3 Likes 1 Share |
