Since, you have asked, I honestly considered it.. However I did some digging and I became a little skeptical about it..

The model name and screen size wasn't validated on any Samsung website and online generally ... And after learning about the numerous imitations/copies of popular TV brands in Nigeria. I decided to stay my hand..

In the case of Nigeria, the reason Starlink suspended residential and roaming plans is because NCC asked them to revert to old pricing. If you try to place an order in Nigeria, this is the message that greets you.

Bro, are we finished?

Starlink about to exit Nigeria like so?

Govt pls let them do their price increase. We are not complaining that much.

38k is just $22 per month and they can't survive with that.

The 75k is $44 and that's fair enough.

Its not their fault. It's you government that destroyed the naira but want business to keep old prices and die off?
This is why we are losing out in big companies in Nigeria. They are are exiting.

Tinubu and APC are the death of Nigeria.
We are finished 😭😭😭

Relax... It takes a great deal to just exit...

In that case, the addition will be less than 40K. If what you are saying is correct due to taxation.

Just like clockwork, it's almost 10K short due to taxation.... The FG scammed their entire workforce. They ended up paying less than the wage award and have gone ahead to significantly increase PMS price.

Let me explain better here. Full implementation of minimum wage has been captured plus 25% arrears Jan to match. Remaining arrears will be payed later. Nothing like 40k flat anymore. Those that have the payslip knows what I'm talking about. The minimum wage calculation was done with the template chart released stating effective from July 29th. I got the payslip and I use the template to calculate and I got exactly the same figure as my basic salary very correct. Nothing like 40k flat anymore

In that case, the addition will be less than 40K. If what you are saying is correct due to taxation.

I have your time.

In Nigeria's case , you will say Nigeria GDP per capita means nothing to you. It turns to UK own, your become epileptic.

UK is roughly 69 million in population and 12 million are below the poverty. I quoted to you from the House of Common Library, yet you are still defending the indefensible.

Get out of here, numbskull

I seriously doubt you are a tech boy because your analytical mind is too poor and basic to be worth engaging.

In the UK, 12 m out of 69 m is approximately 17.39% with a better standard of living and a life expectancy of 81.92 years..

In Nigeria, 129 m out of 200m is approximately 64.5% with a worse standard of living and a life expectancy of 56.05 years.

Which of them can be termed staggering? A poverty rate of under 20% cannot be termed staggering. Nigeria with a poverty rate of approximately 65% is not only staggering, but equally alarming, and shocking. All indicators of a FAILING STATE.

Hello guyz, you are better off not engaging this guy, because he is very deficient in engaging in an intellectual discourse and can't back up the tripe he has been spewing since. Likely a young lad still suckling from his parent's

I rest my case with this indelible quote "Empty Barrels make the Loudest Noise"

[s]So you spotted your own folly eventually.

Why did you write epistle comparing Nigeria to advanced societies? I intentionally quoted what I quoted to tell you they have staggering poverty rate in advanced countries as well.

Do not even change the narratives, I put it out to you, what's responsible for your failure in Nigeria? It is time to stop being generalistic.[/s]

What staggering poverty rates? C'mon get out of here. don't be ridiculous. Imagine trying to compare a $51,000 GDP per capita economy with ours. Please have some shame.

Keep choosing and picking.

Let me quote you:

"Nigerians are among the largest spenders of their income on food with a whooping 54.9%... Yet, you decide to insult others who made a valid claim on the relative cheap food in the advanced societies gulping 5 -6% of their income. How is that comparable?
"

Why didn't you compare the taxes they pay in advanced countries to what you pay in Nigeria?

Why didn't you consider the bills in advanced countries to what you pay in Nigeria ?

Since you want to deal in statistics, check the attached which depict the current population in the UK and the number of people below the poverty threshold.

A very Pedestrian thought process. The minimum wage of Nigeria is $42 dollars PER MONTH, what is the minimum hourly rate of those nations.

In addition, you seriously and confidently want to compare the GDP per capita of UK of approximately $51,000 to that of Nigeria. Are you for real? LoL.

And to your other baseless question. I am a tax paying law-abiding Nigerian. It's the function of the government at all levels to make my living condition and that of every other law-abiding taxpayer better and more habitable.

Don't come here trying to dazzle anyone with fables that can easily be quashed in a heartbeat.

See, failures have a way of uniting people together to share their sad stories.

Why are you not part of the "outliers"? Why did you choose to form a committee of "failures" ? I could see some of your committee members lamenting about their states in this thread.

Something is wrong with you. A lizard in Nigeria cannot become a crocodile abroad.

If you are given a British passport today, what job do you think you will be qualified for?

In your exageration to run Nigeria down, you even confidently LIED about her GDP to needlessly prove a silly point. I have attached the fact about Nigeria GDP to this post so people would see you as a pathological liar who you are.

Keep lamenting about Nigeria, while others are making it. Nigeria is just an easy target for most of you, by default, you lack values that can make a big difference economically in your life. That is what you should be aiming to correct instead of this daily cry.

Be running after statistics while your mates are living their lives.

What are you really on about? trying to paint the bleak realities of majority of Nigerians as something that is their fault.

Why will you use a very negligible sample space to judge the reality of millions (129 million) living below the poverty line. Going by the counter stats you provided, our GDP per capital crashed by 66.26% from 2014 till date. Is that not a gross failure by all measurable indices?

Our currency is now among the worst performing globally.

https://punchng.com/naira-among-worst-performing-currencies-world-bank/

"According to data from the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, at least 767 manufacturers shut down operations and 335 became distressed in 2023. Unsold inventories amounted to N350 billion during the same period."

https://punchng.com/save-nigerias-manufacturers-from-collapse/

Most top service delivery companies are hiking their prices by almost 100% or even more. Starlink did theirs until the NCC intervened, now Airpeace is pricing their economy class at N200,000 and above. Does that sound like an occurrence that can happen in a functional society?

https://gazettengr.com/lagos-abuja-now-n286000-as-air-peace-hikes-airfare-by-100-nationwide/

Very soon those negligible "tech workers" sample size you are basing your inference on may not be able to travel easily within Nigeria. They will resort to using our decaying and deplorable road networks periled with insecurity.

Please you can debate your points without insulting our intelligence and realities. A vast number of Nigerians are SUFFERING. And it is majorly a function of poor governance of the political class. .
