Messi's first goal for us is a chip in.
Di maria only winning goal in copa is also a chip in. But nowadays, e just dey somehow.
Maybe it looks easy because we are not the one in front of the GK. Who knows?? grin cheesy
Lol... I don't agree with the bolded. See Messi and di Maria, that's their go to signature goal in one on ones especially Di Maria.

Except a player don't know how to chip cos I don't see why it should be hard. I mean, Gk is already out of his post and you don't need to even play it above the normal height of Gk (cos obviously he's going/gone down). Players can even mix it up. Do as if you want to place the ball, keeper goes down, then you chip. It's easy.

And to be honest that's even my de facto signature goal, whether I'm playing Pes or in the field. Worst part is that GKs will know that's what you want to do, but they MUST still go down. It's a reflex. Check every one on ones, all GKs go down before the attacker even hits the ball

You're right. Remember that nutmeg by Suarez against PSG and how he shot that ball at the top bin. That is what these young strikers should emulate. No need for calculation, just pick a spot and put in enough power on your shot.
Sesko has that shot power but where he placed the ball was wrong. A keeper rushing forward to close you down will never have enough height to punch. Just place it at his left but a bit higher.
I remember when we beat Chelsea 5-3 in the 2011/12 season. Then I was watching it at a viewing centre.

For the 4th goal, immediately Terry slipped and Van Persie took the ball, I started dancing before he even ran with it towards 1 on 1 with Cech. I was so 100% sure that he'll score it and he didn't disappoint.

When Havertz have that 1 on 1 against Liverpool earlier this year in our 3-1 win, I was just hoping that he'll score. I have to wait for ball to hit the back of the net before I'll celebrate. Thank God for Saka for the rebound cos I still wonder till today how a professional player will play that very poor ball straight at Allison.

The only player in our squad that I'm very certain if he have 1 on 1 is Trossard and to some extent Saka and Martinelli. For others, na just hope till the ball hits back of the net

Most players nowadays are not clinical. Na just to hope and pray for ball to hit the back of the net before someone will celebrate. This is very unlike before

Before you drop your pen save us from the confusion you created.

The bolded is what Most.ob used to represent ]what I called stamina which is 'not easily brushed off the ball' but that was what you said Arteta didn't want Fabio Vieira to do. You said Arteta didn't want Fabio to bulk up. Does that not imply that Arteta wants Fabio to be easily brushed off the ball? This is weird. Lol. 🤣

This is what you would have said since instead of doing wrong usage of words for days, just dragging and dragging.

The reason they don't want him to bulk up is because they see him as our "David Silva". Someone who can easily glide past players, someone who can easily twist and turn because of his weight lightedness. We all know, all these weight lighted players are really flexible and that's what they want in Viera

Whether they'll be successful or not with their postulation is another thing entirely but that's their plans for him.

I feel like, players should always prepare their minds for 1vs1. The flopping is too much.
In the past, 1vs1 is like bonanza to players like dis maria, messi, prime Ronaldo and some other good players cheesy
Most players no get sense on their own nowadays because they're being taught how to play ball instead of being creative.

One on one is the easiest and except a player is mentally weak, he ought not to miss any.

Any keeper rushing a striker should be an easy goal because the keeper must surely go down due to reflex, it's a must yet I don't know why players or Strikers don't chip. It's a cheat code in terms of scoring yet I don't why most Strikers don't opt for it. It's really sad

When I watched Sesko compilation, I just knew he wasn't ready for the big jump and I voiced my concern here. Aside him being two footed in taking shots, most of his other kind of play is still raw.

Anyways, like I said here, he made the best decision to extend and further polish his game out of pressure. He's still young so hopefully he'll come good.

Note: I don't judge players in cup competition tho

I think it has always been in place. Edu just want to raise the price.

This is how I understand it. Chelsea and Aston Villa were on the red with the FFP rule so they needed to sell ASAP. They both decided to exchange players. So, in order to balance the book and at the same time keep their star player, they exchanged academy boys between them and inflated the price. I think one of them was around 35m or so. I think that's what Edu wants to build on reason why Chelsea and Villa were referenced in that post.

Note please, that is how I understand it o. People who are more knowledgeable can help shed more light.
Ohh... If that's how it is then it make sense.

Hopefully Edu would pull it through

it's been long overdue to be honest. A club can't just train a player from youth, develop him and give him exposure to football world only to lose him for nothing cos he didn't sign professional contract.

Arsenal will set a benchmark of £12 Million for Ruell Walters and £16 Million for Amario Cozier-Duberry respectively. If these fee's aren't met they are happy to go to tribunal as they believe they have matching quoted fees for players now moving between Premier League Clubs i.e Aston Villa, Chelsea and Newcastle of the same age , ability and statical analysis. These new transfer fees have raised the ceiling in terms of market value of ALL prospects. Edu Gaspar will now use the manipulated market to raise the market value of all Hale End prospects even if they leave on a free transfer Arsenal will gain by the development fee owed . Burnley made £11.6 Million from the tribunal deal of Ings to Liverpool and move to Southampton. Arsenal expect these two "Free " transfers to break that record due to the Now Manipulated market . Listen, Yamal was not a REGULAR STARTER in the first half of last season. He started games when raphinha was injured. He didn't even start in EL clasico when raph wasn't fully fit.
If Spain had a lack of quality at centre back like they lack at RW, cubarsi would have been balling in the euros right now.

Lmaoo... I see you just don't want to tell yourself the truth even when it's plain and I brought evidences. Yamal that made his Spain debut as early as Sept sef.

It seems you're underestimating the prowess of Yamal that you think even we Epl followers won't hear about him. Person wey don be agba baller by 2023 is whom you're saying is not a regular. You're even bringing up Cubarsi like say Dem breakthrough same time. I even know of Fermin Lopez before any Cubarsi sef

lol. Yamal was never a starter as at early September. He only started when raphinha was injured.. he fully claimed raphinha's spot as at the time cubarsi rose to prominence, so this logic of yours is farce. If there was a better right winger than yamal, he wouldn't be starting. The big clubs have the best players (that's why they are called big clubs anyway 🤷‍♂️) And The best players will always be starters for their respective national teams.

You sef fear God na. grin grin

What club does the spanish starting CB Le Normand play for? Cubarsi is also a very young Barca starter, no? Why wasn't he even considered for the euros? Or does "Big club PR" only work for certain players??
I see that you've become sane and stopped your unnecessary insults. That's a good start.

Now we all know Cubarsi only became a starter and frequent regular as at end of January or beginning of Feb. That's just 3 months till the end of season hence he's late to the party compared to Yamal who started as early as Sept and has already made the Spain debut already. And isn't it fitting that Le Normand of 27yrs is now seeing shirt (which further gave credence to my point that a youngster would not see Spain squad if he's at a small club cos no pr).

Give Cubarsi next season and let him continue this his form with Barca and I'm certain he'll see first team shirt with Spain that same next season. Club Pr for you!!

Spy360:

What you have just done here is twisting narrative.

I have explained that the stamina I am referring to is in relation to Fabio Vieira and that means to bulk up and increase his weight. Anyone who followed this discussion knows what is meant if you say Fabio Vieira should increase his stamina. We know that we are not talking about a Kenyan Fabio Vieira that runs marathon but the diminutive one that plays for Arsenal.

Stop twisting and focus on the point of discussion.
Who's the "anyone" cos clearly you are that person. I mean I and Most.ob have had that discussion earlier last year and we know the reason why Arteta and Edu(esp) don't want Fabio to bulk up and it's certainly not because of stamina.

Sadly, until you understand the meaning of stamina and unlearn the wrong definition you're holding dear, you will keep on going in circles

Spy360:

The bolded is wrong. I challenge you to give a word to replace stamina if you think you are right.

Stamina is a very generic word. That was the reason why I brought up the term force. Force too is a very generic word. Push is force, alo pull is force, weight is force, effort is force and load is force. Same way stamina is generic. It can mean endurance, strength, tough, resistance etc.

When a player is easily brushed off we all rightly say that he lacks stamina.
You see why I say you're wrong and you're using definition of what we were being told while growing up?

Look at the definition below and see what we're saying (emphasis on "tiring" and "for a long time" ). Look up the synonyms too. I don't see any weight there

Trossard for example have good body weight than Havertz but in terms of stamina (ability not to tire quickly or staying power) he's very poor at it, that's why he's one of the few people to be always substituted, Havertz on the other hand can easily be brushed off the ball easily than Trossard. If both starts a match, Havertz can play Min 1 to min 100 and he'll be giving you defensive contributions, runs and closing down at an optimal rate. By Minute 60, Trossard would have stopped giving you that at an optimal rate which is why he's always subbed off quickly.

That's difference between Stamina and body weight in a nutshell

How many times have you witnessed good players being regulars for minnows like las palmas?

Ferran was the starter for Spain before yamal. So is ferran better than yamal? Oh I forgot, ferran is even another barca player 🤡🤡🤡

You said Barca PR is the reason why Yamal is a starter, insinuating that he isn't good enough. But you're struggling to mention a player from the valencia or whatever small Spanish club better than him.

Yamal is a starter for Spain at such tender age because there isn't anyone better than him for that RW position, eod.
You're a mumu man.

I said the club he plays for was what led to him being a starter for Spain which is the Pr (Barca). If he does same thing for Las Palmas (just like Pedri), he won't be called up. Highest he'll be called up for Olympics.

The only reason why he's playing for Spain at a very young age is because he's a regular for a top club like Barca.

Simple thing like this is definitely too complex for a dense person like you unfortunately
