Throw a man into a lion/tiger territory, healthy or not, they'll chop him up. Carnivorous animals like lions/tigers will eat anything that is readily available in their surrounding.

Chinese nationals severely assault Zimbabwean police officers


Two police officers were severely assaulted by Chinese nationals at a local hotel that is under construction close to the National Sport Stadium along Bulawayo road earlier this week.

The police officers had gone to the construction site to investigate a case of assault that had been reported by a Zimbabwean national, Langford Sibindi, at Marimba Police Station and when they were making their investigations they were confronted by scores of Chinese nationals who began to beat them up, radiovop reported.

According to the workers, one Chinese national severely beat up the Zimbabwean guy using clenched fists and martial arts resulting in the employee falling to the ground bleeding heavily.

"The Chinese boss accused Langford of being lazy and he started beating him up heavily using clenched fists. We had to do nothing and he only left him after he started bleeding heavily. After the beating he left the area and that's when we assisted him," said one employee who did not want to be named.

"He then went to the police station to report and only to come back with the officers who were also beaten up by the other Chinese guys who used martial arts to beat them. They had to flee heading towards Bulawayo road."

When he was reached for a comment, Harare province Spokesperson, Tadius Chibanda said: "I haven't received such reports I will have to check first."

Cases of Chinese brutality at workplaces have been on the increase and Deputy Prime Minister Arthur Mutambara once called parliament to act over the matter.

so i asked him, how he could be the first person invent such a device when he is just getting into the profession, yet there
are so many big peoople with doctorates and professorship.

Saltwater and freshwater have different specific gravity, or salinity, or however you want to refer to the chemical concentraions of the two different bodies of water; simply put, osmosis is a huge factor in an organism's ability to live in water.

Osmosis can be defined as the movement of water through a membrane due to the differences in concentrations of two solutions. This is why you always hear people say it is a bad idea to drink saltwater because it will actually dehydrate you. The saltwater is at a higher concentration than the cells in our bodies, so due to the natural forces of osmosis, water will leave our "less concentrated cells" and enter the "higher concentrated saltwater" until they become equal (physical laws of science love to be at equilibrium). OK, so how does this relate to sharks?

The forces of osmosis means that animals must either be adapted to freshwater or adapted to saltwater. Saltwater fish live in the ocean, and freshwater fish live in rivers, lakes, etc. Marine fish must go against the laws of physics in order to retain water to avoid dehydration due to osmosis, while freshwater fish must go against the laws of physics to prevent the absorption of too much water.

So then how the heck does a saltwater Bull Shark survive in freshwater?

Bull sharks can survive in freshwater rivers due to a feature called osmoregulation. Osmoregulation is the ability of an organism to maintain a constant concentration of water in their body even when the surrounding environment would cause it to either gain or lose water. Remember how I was saying fish have to be adapted to either freshwater or saltwater due to the large differences in salinity? The ability of bull sharks to undergo osmoregulation means they can survive in both saltwater AND freshwater!

it is that surname Mentality that makes people still follow that ancient belief; in china they make a big deal out of it, the way they kill female babies there since they can only have one child, so they prefer males over females there because of that. I am not against surnames or females taking their husbands and males retaining their own but I dont think that should be the reason males should be valued over females but I have seen some with that mentality.

That is all there is to it. I can't believe how credulous most people are. Since when did the Nigerian police (or media for that matter) suddenly become so trustworthy? This entire story is nonsensical, sorry to say.

How can a hardened criminal answer the phone of a lady he just killed? Even if he did, how did the police trace the phone call to the exact house they where in Festac? Is that how sophisticated our Police force has suddenly become? Why and how did the hotel employees simply take the dead girl's body to a mortuary - without informing the police beforehand as is the standard practice? What is the name of the hotel? There are just too many loopholes here, and I understand why the family would want to present this 'clean' version of events in order to save their pride.

I only hope that the police wouldn't frame-up innocent people for the murder and coerce them into making false confessional statements; we all know that is what the Nigerian Police knows how to do best. I wouldn't be surprised if this girl's death has nothing to do with facebook to begin with.
