YungTemy: If Tinubu wins, na wahala Because if police burst you, which constitution you wan use? Nigeria constitution wey no dey function. Wahala Wahala Wahala!
I sent my wife to Australia in 2021 on student visa.
She has invited us, myself and our children aged 12 and 9 and our visa is out. I have also paid like 6 months fees for my children school which was a requirement for the visa.
Owing to her performance at her work place, the company she works for has promised to sponsor for PR. Infact, the process just began and we are sure of having the PR.
I am currently 48 and won't be able to support my family working in Nigeria. Wify has encouraged me that we will be fine that abroad is meant for 2 people.
My only constraint is my age, hence my question. If you are in my shoe, will you travel?
By the way, I work for a private firm here in Nigeria and you know what it is working for a family company.
SIR, carry your entire household comot from hell... Nigeria isn't a good place for sane people, even at 60 and I see chance to Japa, I'll rather Japa and die in Australian snow than living in a country that will surpress you to the ground with hardship.
But make plans at where you work currently, one of the hardest things in life is decision making..
Carry God along...I wish you well, but if you see chance, abeg carry me join body, I go just dey to render vital assistance...you can trust me. ;
LegendHero: Maryland's learner's permit knowledge test, and its study materials, will soon be offered in nine more languages, bringing the total for each to 17 languages.
Getting a learner's permit is the first step to getting a driver's license in the state.
The Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration said it is expanding accessibility services as part of Gov. Wes Moore's focus on equity and access.
Here are the new languages offered:
—Yoruba (West Africa) —Tagalog —Amharic (Afro-Asiatic language) —Arabic —Russian —Urdu —Hindi —Farsi —Portuguese —American Sign Language
The new language offerings were determined with U.S. Census data.
"Improving accessibility for the driver's knowledge test and study materials is critical to serve Maryland's linguistically diverse population," said Motor Vehicle Administrator Chrissy Nizer.
The current languages offered include English, Spanish, French, Nepali, Korean, traditional Chinese and Vietnamese.

TemplarLandry: Wike has guts! Mayyne, I just like his O.G (Original G**gster) style of dressing. Reminds me of Don Corleone from the “Godfather” movie.
I dedicate “No Diggity” by BlackStreet feat. Dr. Dre and Queen Pen to him. Great jam!
Man...You should be ashamed of yourself,at your old age you still drown in self deceit...Your end won't be good if you do not reset your brain to always choose good over evil.

lawrenzoo: Good day, Nairaland families. I would appreciate it if mature and responsible families in the house could enlighten me on this. My son is only 7 years and 4 months old, and I allow him and his 5 year old sister to do minor chores such as making their beds when they wake up, sweeping their rooms to some extent, taking their plates to the kitchen after eating, and brushing their teeth at night. However, there is one thing I frown upon in the house, "Sending a young guy of his age on street errands," but I discovered that my wife finds it so easy to do so.
Most times my wife would want to get simple stuff like detergent and so, she calls him which i do stop from happening most times since i am of a personal opinion that it is rather too unsafe for him and he should not be sent on an errand alone until he is at least 10years old and above.
Please i want to know if I am simply the one overreacting and too overprotective OR a child of that age should not be sent on an errand?
ochejoseph: The Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP H.E Atiku Abubakar just released a tweet that is sending shock waves across the political landscape in Nigeria.
Atiku who has known Tinubu for several decades appears to be at a loss as to who Tinubu truly is, in a tweet on his verified Twitter page, the former Vice President wrote:
"I woke up this morning wondering how we got to this cul de sac. In 1999, @officialABAT claimed he attended St. John's Primary School, Aroloya, Lagos, before proceeding to Children Home School in Ibadan. According to him, his next port of call in his educational journey was Government College Ibadan and, Richard Daley College and Chicago State University in the United States. Curiously, in 2023, Tinubu settled with attending only @ChicagoState. I am scratching my head. How is that possible? Methinks that all well-meaning Nigerians should be as confused as I am with Tinubu’s declaration that he had no primary and secondary education, yet he has a university degree. You may wish to #AskTinubu how he attained this feat so that we can learn from his ingenuity 😆 -AA"
Recently, Abubakar approached a US court for the northern district of Illinois in Chicago, for an order compelling CSU to release the academic records of Tinubu.
The case appears to have triggered confusion in the camp of certificate forgers and those shopping for technicalities to illegally keep them in power. The next few weeks will be interesting as Nigerians passionately wait to see the "magic" that transformed a Nigerian with No primary or secondary certificate into a holder of a Chicago State University degree in Business Administration or Business and Administration as the fake result summited to INEC reads.
She will burn will hell...they tell you ladies, not all that glitters is gold...that lifestyle wey she dey find, she go meet am for inside Hell... Nonsense.
Loveabove: Please I need you people's advice and I want to be as brief and straight to the point.
My sister gave birth to 2 children under circumstances I'm not to explain here. She took ill and passed away last month.
Since we were just two of us, (our parents are late) the responsibility of taking care of this little kids of 8 and 5 has fallen on me.
God knows I love these kids and would take them as my own but I don't have a job and struggling seriously to survive. It's killing since they became my full responsibility. I was thinking any of the extended family member or a good person would come up to take them.
House rent has expired and problems everywhere.
Since no where else to take them to, I'm considering taking them to the orphanage. It's not my fault please. If I have the means, i would keep them and take very good care of them as they are very dear to me.
Like i said, i love this two boys and would take them as mine, providing for them now as it should, is the challenge.
Their presence is even affecting the small thing I am doing, especially by way of paying attention to them.
Please advise me on what to do.

Wao...I feel you should take the matter to the police for guidance and security.
And if they direct you to the orphanage then it'll be done by their approval. Your hands are clean.
Truvelisback: Good day, fellas. Why do marriages get boring after sometime? 🤔 I.e The love or feelings begin to wax cold or boring unlike when you both started.
**Puffs weed"
Bro...there's a lot to say about this...This is just reality,I feel many are being lied to,that many tend to even lie to themselves just to escape certain realities, but deep down,it's not what they really want.
