Hello, I am planning to apply for a J-1 Visa next month to travel early September. From previous comments it seems there is a massive gap between the time of application and available appointment dates. I was wondering if this will also apply for J-1 Visas. Will it be possible to get a mid August appointment if i complete my application by the end of this month?
Appreciate the good work!

Hi Justwise. Thanks for your help. I have gotten my business visa now.
My training is to take place in Wales but i am going through heathrow. I want to find out if they will allow me stay a night in London with my family members before flying off to Wales the next day. (With a business Visa)

@ Johnsnow008,

I believe the only way to make corrections is on the hardcopy of the form. I made a mistake on my form too but corrected it on the hardcopy on my way to VAC at Ikeja. Just make sure you sign it off. I even made i mistake with the date of Church marrige during the interview. All well and good i still got the settlement Visa 3 weeks ago. Just make sure you sign off your corrections.

That's a relief! Thanks a lot.

Good evening. I just submitted my online application and paid the visa application fee but just discovered that I made a mistake with my passport number on the form I submitted. Is there a way to correct this without having to start the process all over again bearing in mind that I have already paid for the application and booked a date to visit the embassy.

Since your company is picking all the bills submit your salary account the way it's and your payslip, don't make any attempt to move money into it.

Okay then. I was tempted to move money into it before. Thanks for the advice. God Bless.

What is your salary range?

Thanks for your response Justwise. It is within the 200k band after tax - I intend to submit my application before this week runs out as the training is slated for 2nd week in May. This means the statement I will submit will not have my salary for this month included.

Hello All. I am in the process of applying for a Business Visitor Visa for a training in the UK to be fully sponsored by my company. I have the letter stating this from the company and also a letter of invitation from the Training Facility in the UK. My only concern is that my personal fund is just about 100k as I just started working in the company a few weeks ago. I was wondering if this will affect the outcome of the visa in any way.
Btw, the company will not put in their statement of account as its against the Company Policy.

From My A/C Experience, I believe the most important thing is to be YOURSELF! Make meaningful contributions that will support the group work. Don't try to BOSS the whole exercise, bring everyone to the party - Work as A Team!

Mind you, The Group work I believe is just part of the whole A/C. There is still an interview and a presentation so don't focus solely on the group exercise.

I was told "hopefully in September" and that was before the release of SHL results . I believe there will be a minimum of two weeks between AC invite and actual first day of the AC. I have not cared to ask further questions after the release of SHL results.

Thank you. I wish everyone success in the A/C. You are Favoured!

Sexylove123: Please am very sorry for not replying some PM cos am having some challenges with my email. We can still discuss anything here .
@airsaylongcon, psl drop the link of whatever you have here to avoid people(even those that never took any NLNG Test) from flooding this thread with " pls send it to xyxy@yahoo.com".

@Sexylove, Please do you have any new information about the date of the assessment centre. A friend of mine iscurrently rounding up his masters in the UK and would like to book ahead for his flight ticket to save cost. Thanks
