erico2k2:Its no typo my brother. I leave in the uk and have worked as a Software Engineer since 2006. I don't reside in London as a matter of choice. I stopped working as a permanent staff as a Manager and Team Lead with Bupa. I've since worked strictly on contract bases and will not accept anything less than £450 per day from any body. Recruiters don't have to see your face before submitting your cv to a company and you even get jobs based on references and telephone interviews without any face to face appearance. Most of the time, you join the project to fill some gaps or solve some problems so there's little room for discrimination as the scope is always very clear. I've had contracts paying £600 per day so the £540 per day is even not the highest you can get. Just go to www.JobServe.com and search for jobs in some sectors (especially finance). I've met Nigerians earning as much as £1000 per day. So, just like you have Nigerians struggling to make ends meet here for a lot of reasons, you also have some sending all their kids to private schools (with school fees getting up to £4000 per term). The problem I have with other European countries is their relatively low wages when compared to the UK. I'm not sure of the situation in other sectors but I don't think any IT professional will regret coming here if you know your stuff. 4 Likes |

Ngwakwe: I presume you wanted to say that Buhari will go after each of the culprits and do anything possible to bring them to Justice. That is Buhari's antecedent. 100% lack of tolerance to graft in any shape or form. |
