Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Salary Payment by jorrey(m): 3:43pm On Oct 09, 2023
Mikedgr8:
I'm a Teacher in a private school in the mainland part of Lagos State, I got employed just last month in the school. I take the senior classes Physics, Biology and Chemistry for a meagre 25k salary. The cost of transportation between my house and the school is #600 to and fro each day. On days I don't have enough cash, I trek to school not minding the inconveniences.

The month ended and based on the fact that schools resumed on the 4th of last month, I presumed the salary will be paid on the said date this month.

I tried talking to the proprietor and all he could say was Salary is not ready. Now he tries avoiding me and not picking my calls either.

There is nothing for my family to eat..

I tried going out to work in any construction site but non was willing to take me in to work.
With tears in my eyes, I called him and he managed to pick, he didn't even allow me to talk, he said he will pay next week.

Note, this is the same ordeal faced by other teachers...

Now, my question is why do employers derive joy in delaying salaries after the services rendered by their employees?.

Where do you stay? Can you drive with valid drivers license.

Romance / Re: Ladies Can You Date/Marry A Guy Living In This Kind Of Apartment? (Photos) by jorrey(m): 9:45am On Nov 29, 2021
God bless you. It's only few ladies that can say things truthfully the way you made your points.

Datboredberry:
The guy living in this sort of apartment shouldn't even think of getting married.

Financial stability is as relevant as love... If not more...

As for dating, ofcourse! Somehow, it's fun...

I remember, I dated guy who invited me to his friend's home... Just like this!

There was a colourful mat on the floor... A bulb... It gave off a dim red light... I still think it was insanely romantic...

But I didn't love the guy tho... We spent minutes, he tried to get me to take off my clothes... With I was wriggling, trying to escape his tight grip on my waist... grin

Your neighbour is an idiot... For shaming your condition... Funny enough, it's men who set such high standards for themselves...

There are millions of ladies who wouldn't care what your home looks like... Damn! If your personality is great... I wouldn't mind if it's a mud house... Just enjoy the company...

If I date men in your condition... And I sincerely love him... them we would work together to build a better home...

But I definitely would not make you feel small... My own parents have been in situations where this would have been a castle... wink

And, bad times don't last... Just do your sh**... Avoid entitled hoes and don't let all the negative energy from your dumbass male friends get to you... Okay?

There are decent women..

Foreign Affairs / Is This True? by jorrey(m): 5:37pm On Aug 24, 2019
I am still in disbelief that a country like Nigeria can be subjected to policies that devalues our right as a nation. If this is actually true, then our leaders need to stand up against ill treatment of Nigerian citizens. A call to our leaders.

bastien: my bros cool down,na lecture we dey lecture ourselves!!! Well Pitropa and Moses any of dos deserve MPV in nations cup,and not Mr Mikel!!!

Ameobi didn't score that match,be he did and cus lot of trouble to the back four, how many as mikel done? Do u think I will waste my vote on a midfielder who is sluggish and always takin d ball back to a defender or goalkeeper?
God bless you for these comment. I am a patriotic Nigerian but truth be told Yaya deserves the award much more than Mikel.. cos mikel is the only defender that i have seen that is sluggish and always like passing the ball to keeper or defenders..he is never offensive in his style of play....abeg Moses or pitropa is better of Mikel ehh....

solomon111: Sorry, anderson is still at united but has been relegated to the background.
He was just like mikel with all the hype, unfortunately he was not good enough.
Mikel would've suffered the same fate.
And btw,he didn't do anything special at the confederations club afterall we were only able to beat tahiti, and onazi was actually the very mobile and over-worked partner in our midfield thereby reducing the negative effect of mikel's immobility to an extent.
Onazi was doing the work of two players!!
mikel will never play as a number 10 for big football nations or clubs.
Truth be told...i love Mikel very well, but he has be transformed from that mobile midfielder to a defender..watch the way he plays in chelsea, always passing the ball to the back..ramires plays better than Mikel...

Leave her alone. She's living her life. What re you doing with yours?

Hating on another woman who's living her life. Whatever you type here wouldn't change .

All you people can do is rant, then go to night vigil on friday and church on sunday with your bibles. I wonder what happened to love your neighbour as yourself.

Stay there. Keep hatinging beans and bread while she enjoys her life with rich folks you can't even hold their cellphones.

The most crazy thing here is that ALL those abusing her here no be virgins. Even promiscuos men and ashawos dey yab her.

Bunch of hypocritical beasts.
