Technology Market / Re: Beware Of Echoemporium Electronics: Deceptive TV And Electronics Seller by Josemariee: 7:44pm On Feb 11
Mrcalxy:

As I’ve stated earlier, I’m not a noob to the OLED display technology. This isn’t my first time buying a used TV, be it OLED, LED, QLED TV, etc.

Your replies so far show that you’re trying to gaslight other viewers into believing that this is normal and I have decided not to indulge in your intentions of derailing this thread.

The norms of a seller are to:
1. State his terms & conditions of service before taking money from the customers.
2. Accurately describe the conditions of the product before taking money from the customers.
3. Follow up on customer feedback.

From the above, Echoemporium Electronics failed to meet any of the requirements and you choose to also play a blind side to that, so your effort to gaslight viewers is dead on arrival. If you have proof contradicting the above, kindly provide that.

I am well aware that not all used TVs come in perfect condition, and as you can see in the conversation, I basically asked him to make known the full condition(every nitty gritty) of the TV, so I know what I am paying for (and this shouldn’t be so. A seller is the one that ought to provide a clear description on the condition of the product). There’s no way I’d have proceeded with the purchase if I knew that the TV already had all the stated underlying issues.

Did Echoemporium also let you know that I suggested a solution to this problem by saying that I wouldn't mind paying more if he sold me a brand-new TV?

In addition, if you are supportive of the mode of Echoemporium doing business, then it means that both of you are disingenuous and unethical, meaning no one should conduct business with such a fellow.

Can you please highlight the ways?

I’m not trying to gas light anyone, Whatever issues you have is something that’s consistent with LG OLED and you are claiming that you aren’t a noob in buying used items but it’s clear as day that you are.

Also, my reaction is to the vertical banding with you’ve clearly ignored and resorted to name calling which I won’t indulge you.
Due diligence is both ways and more on the customer, before you get any item, do extensive research on it void of what any seller told you. It’s also your responsibility to do so because you’re parting away with your money for a transaction and it’s both ways.

And I insist you sent someone to check the same tv and gave a go-ahead to deliver knowing fully well how the whole transaction went from the beginning, it’s on you to make sure everything ticks but it’s clear you’re on a smear campaign.

I don’t know anything about blocking, it’s probably a reaction from all these, I know a lot of people there and I’ll still get more insight but from what I know, there’s no issue here, you got your tv and it’s working perfectly, every other thing is consistent with used TVs.

This is a false narrative!

1. The person who went to his shop is not an OLED TV user and can’t see all the errors as I would.

2. My guy confirmed that the TV was the same and was repaired. We pointed this out to Echoemporium and he blatantly denied it being the same old TV nor was it a repaired TV.

3. I requested that Echoemporium grant me a warranty on the TV considering that my guy already confirmed the TV to be a repaired TV and I can’t confirm what was repaired, also knowing fully well that most repair guys aren’t competent. Echoemporium denied again saying the TV is a NEW replacement and not the old TV.

Is it wrong for me to point out issues on a TV I received and I'm not satisfied with? Funny enough the indicators of a bad TV showed itself very quickly. You can clearly see that he chose not to respond to my complaints. Is that how business is done?

But from all your messages and videos, it’s consistent with the vertical banding which I have clarified, I have also had this issue before and was clarified. Everyone get a used tv should know you can’t get it perfect, if you seek perfection, get a brand new tv.

I also attached screenshots of you threatening his business, attacking his business with messages and unrecognizable accounts trying to defame him like you have done here.

Then I believe you’re not seeing things from a neutral standpoint.

***************

Clearly, you missed where I already pointed this out as well as other issues. I’m not a noob to the world of OLED displays. Mind you, I’ve tried the pixel refresh option multiple times and there’s not even an inch of improvement. The panel is definitely failing already and needs replacement.

As for vertical banding, there are varying tolerance levels and this isn’t one I’m willing to tolerate.

If you and Echoemporium feel this isn’t an issue and is ok then it should cost him nothing to accept his TV back and sell to someone else. Another positive side for him is that prices have gone up from the date of purchase.

All other issues are consistent with used TVs
You can’t get it all perfect.
I’m speaking from experience

I still insist that you weren’t scammed and you clearly want to defame someone image. You got your tv, if you weren’t satisfied, there are ways of restitution instead of this

I also found out that you have other vendors because I personally had a lengthy call with him and he said you mentioned a few vendors, did you confirm if warranty is given on OLED because I’ve never received warranty on used OLED. Even Fouani offers insurance and not warranty more reason why the cost of new ones is high.

I understand you have issues and it’s okay to point them. But I just clarified that that’s not a fault with a screenshot to prove it. Anyone getting an OLED LG used should be know this. More reason why I switched to Samsung QLED. It’s either Burn in or vertical banding or even vertical/zebra lines on it after wards

Thanks josemariee for your response.

I insisted on refund from the first delivery of a bad TV because I quickly detected that Echoemporium does not have integrity and shouldn’t be trusted but he held my refund hostage.

This is where you got all this wrong, Nobody offers refund on items, it’s either replacement or repair. Even Samsung NG can’t refund anyone.
Technology Market / Re: Beware Of Echoemporium Electronics: Deceptive TV And Electronics Seller by Josemariee: 8:01am On Feb 11
I have read this post and contacted Echo on this issue because I know he’s a good vendor and haven’t had such issue before now.
That’s why it’s always good to hear from both sides.
What I can deduce is this,
1. You got a foreign used( Tokunbo) Tv and it was delivered to you in minna. When you recieved it, the tv wasn’t coming on and you contacted him and the tv was returned.
2. After then, You started insisting on refund and used threats and used soldiers to threaten him.
You also sent someone to come and check the new one to be delivered to you and he confirmed that there’s no fault and it’s safe to be delivered, Why then post defamatory messages against someone here??
3. After much back and forth, another tv was returned to you and he said he made expenses of over 300k to get another one.
4. That you started up again that the tv has an issue and all

I’ve also read the files and screenshots and seen the videos, From what I can deduce, the tv has no issue.
What you’re seeing as lines is called VERTICAL BANDING in LG OLEDs and it’s not a fault because I use LG OLED Myself from him for years. kindly check Google

Coming online to post defamatory messages with someone full name is wickedness and I hope you get sued for it.
