obinna11:

You must go to Abuja, better still if you have someone in Abuja, send your documents to him with your ID card ( National ID, Voters Card or Driving License), he can do it on your behalf.

Thank you for the information. But please, if I am to send my documents to someone in Abuja for the legalization (authentication), can I send the scanned copies (soft copies) of my documents or does it have to be the original documents that I must send?

Deariyoma:
*IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT VISA APPLICATION!*

Good Afternoon everyone,

And Happy Sunday!

I got the information that study visa application has opened and that the Italian visa application submission can now be made to a company called TLS (no more VFS).

You can confirm this by either calling or sending email to the embassy or TLS (if you want to check).

You can find all the information you need on this link https://it.tlscontact.com/
i think you need to register an account and fill the visa application form online. I have also attached pdf files of info I found on the website while making my research.

I think the study visa fee is around 62k Naira (this doesn't include Courier service - not sure of the 62K so please confirm). They also offer other services like passport photo service etc. You can find details when you explore their website.

Good luck everyone!

Hello everyone. Please I am new here and I don't yet know how this works. I need some information regarding the legalization (authentication) of my Educational Certificates and Birth Certificate in order to apply for a study visa in Italy for the academic year 2021-2022. I was told that this is done by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja. But my problem is that I am currently in Lagos. My question is simple and it goes thus:

Do I need to get to Abuja to do this legalization (authentication) of documents? Or perhaps do they have an office in Lagos where this can be done quickly? Please this is urgent and any information no matter how small would be really helpful. Thank you very much in advance.
