I feel for that your neighbor & the innocent daughter, it will be a permanent injury in their heart. Only me can understand how I felt seeing my son limping leg, I will look at his video on my phone & get depressed while blaming myself. But I thank God it's very much better now. It is hardly notice now

I'm regretting it already, he was on lonart and antibiotics before I took him to the hospital base on people's advice
I've taken him to see Dr again and he has been given drugs to treat it. He is getting better now

We know what you are talking about and unfortunately you need to be referred to a neurologist. But only knowledgeable physicians would refer you to hyperbaric oxygen therapy for quicker solution of the injection paralysis which is already being aggravated.

Please my 19 months old boy has been limping his left leg for 2 weeks now, last week Monday I took him to teaching hospital to see a doctor, Dr said there is no cause for alarm once he can stand on it and walk and he can move his limbs.
But I'm getting worried because the feet is cold and getting slim than the other leg.
NB: He was given injection to treat malaria 5 days before the limping started.

Concerning his bum, I'll suggest you avoid wearing him diaper during the day for now( just on panties) until u notice changes . Apply Moisturizer on his bum before putting on diaper eg Coconut oil, Shea Butter or jelly-like Vaseline.

My son gets this anytime he has any stooling episode. He doesn't even wear diaper anymore, I just air his bum and apply a generous amount of baby tribotan and vaseline. By the second day, it is better.

Thanks for your response mama, it's getting better now, I've not been able to come online because he was admitted on Monday, we just came back yesterday. Though still have like 5 episodes of stool daily but not watery again, vomiting has stopped.
He was treated for malaria and he is fine now.

Did u add or change his meal ? It could also be teething tho. You should mind what he eat and also the things he plays with, children at this stage tend to put whatever at sight or reach out into their mouth. Give him ORS and zinc tablet. If the pooing persist, pls take him to hospital to rule out infection.

We've gone to the hospital this evening because the poop persist but we were told to continue with ors and zinc, that if it doesn't work & he's getting weak we should bring him back because my baby was just jumping from one Dr to another trying to play with everyone he comes across but we were just taking caution because of this pandemic issue.

Good morning mothers of future Presidents and Governors.
Please my baby will be 6 months on 26th of this month, I have introduced Friso gold to him this last Tuesday which was on 2nd. Although we didn't do EBF, we were on SMA gold and breast milk before. But for over a week now even before I changed his food his poo is dark green and musty not watery anyway, a friend said it's because he's teething but I'm becoming uncomfortable with it.

Tnk God dey didnt ve d aspirator, i jst bought d nasal drop n used it 4 him... At first it looks like d catarh got worst blockin his nasal passage, ws scared, s followin day his nose was whistling, i keep my calm, d third day nose was making a dry sound, d forth day, i heard no sound n lo is breathin fine again...

So my dear, pls dnt panic... D aspiratn will go gradually as ur lo grow...

It's not a funny experience o, I use to burp him after each feeding and hold him for like 30 minutes before laying him down but still he will do it. I can't wait for him to overcome it sha. Dr also advised his bed should be raised @ the head side. The lord will continue to protect our LOs

I don't even know where to start and am not good with story telling.......
I had an emergency CS in 2012 and a Vbac in 2014 so I was hoping for another virginal delivery. At 38 weeks I heard a discussion with my doctor on not wanting to pass 40 weeks. At 39weeks 4days I had a scan to check the weight of the baby and the general well being of my baby. I know I asked about the cord and the position of the baby and I was told everything was OK.

On the 30th of January, I started having mild contractions but due to my previous scar I had to go to the hospital. I was admitted but discharged because I was still 2cm as at night, the doctor wanted to schedule me for an elective CS on Tuesday if I don't go into full labour by then.

On the 1st I saw mucus plug and contraction was still on and off. Sunday/Monday, I couldn't sleep because of the contractions. I was 3cm when I got to the hospital and by 11am I was 4cm, the contractions were not strong enough and not lasting long enough. Around 2pm, membrane rupture was done and by 6pm I was 8cm. I started having serious pains and by 8pm I was checked again but still at 8cm.

At that moment I knew something was wrong, I was placed on oxygen because my baby's fetal heartbeat was fluctuating. I told the nurse beside me that If anything happens to me or my baby they won't find it funny because I know from the beginning that it might result to CS. After everything I was taken to the theater and my princess was brought out with cord around the neck, left hand and body.

In all, I give thanks to almighty Allah because the nurses were telling me to be patient and positive when I asked for CS. What would have happened if I had listened to them?

And again always follow your instincts as a mother, I have been considering CS since I didn't fall into labor before my due date which was 27th of January but...... hmmmmm

I am so grateful to God it ended in praise for you. God really silence the devil. Honestly cs is not a taboo, I even prefer it to labor pain and my recovery was so fast. All I care about is mother and baby alive.

Good morning wonderful moms, please help a ftm curiosity.
My 7 weeks old baby minutes after feeding and burping vomits, at times it comes out of his nose. He might even be when he is sleeping, so I watch him closely every minutes. And he breathe like something is in his throat.
Please I don't know maybe anyone has experience this with her lo to advise me on what to do or it's normal.
NB. He is on formula and breastfeeding

You need him to be healthy that's what matter most. There should be increase in weight according to the chart. But if baby it's not chubby its not a must. It could be hereditary.

That said, you can give him reload, well kids etc

My 3.5months old baby doesn't sleep at a stretch. Like he sleeps for 30 to 45mins and wake up then maybe play and go back to sleep. Even at night I still wake up like 4-5 times to feed him. is this normal . I've heard of people his age sleeping for 4-5 hours but not my baby.
I've tried all sleeping positions, it's still same.
What can I do please?? I feel I'm supposed to be catching long sleep now that he's getting old but it's not so

Count yourself lucky, as I'm typing now my baby is just sleeping back since few minutes past 12 he woke up. And that is how we roll everyday, he will sleep throughout the day and play @night.

Mama try Reload.. It's a better multivitamin in town. That is what I was advised to buy in the hospital.. Because I gave birth to a baby with a low weight.. 1.5kg at birth.. I started giving her Reload, she is strong and growing healthy.. She is 4.5kg at 3months now..

Please is the Reload for baby or mother? My baby weigh 1.8kg @birth and 2.6 @weeks. I'm giving him formula and breast, I need him to look chubby. I will check his weight today when we go for immunization, he is now 6 weeks old
