Politics / Re: Police Arrest House Of Reps Member, Alex Ikwechegh For Slapping Bolt Driver by JuanDeDios: 6:16pm On Oct 28 |
EmperorCaesar:Well, the case went viral, so the police had no choice. I doubt he'll be jailed for assault though. Or even be made to apologise to the driver and make a reasonable payment in an out-of-court settlement (since that can be done in an assault case). The law is for the poor. |

Tetrahedron:This post makes no sense. Yes, some Bolt drivers do bad things - but that's a topic for another since this driver apparently did nothing to warrant the assault from the barbaric specimen of a man. |
Business / Re: US Sent A Medical Aircraft To Evacuate Binance Exec, Gambaryan From Nigeria by JuanDeDios: 11:43am On Oct 28 |
mamaafrik:CIA agents do exist and they take everyday jobs as cover. But there's no evidence that every citizen they try hard to retrieve (like they did for those aid workers retrieved by SEALS from Northern Nigeria) is a CIA agent. They're mandated by their law to retrieve all citizens. Sometimes, it's Russia and co doing hostage diplomacy and they have to play the game Russia is playing by doing exchange. That proves nothing. You people read too much into everything. Mr Gabaran-what's-his-name wasn't even based outside the US. |

Politics / Re: IPOB Founder Pius Iguh, Commander Emmanuel Onwugu In Our Custody - Military by JuanDeDios: 2:50pm On Oct 26 |
MadamVanessa:I'm trying to make an iota of sense of this post. For some time now, sit-at-home has been a major problem in the SE and its enforcers have murdered ordinary Nigerians and ruined businesses. You think it's a bad thing for the government to address the situation by arresting those responsible? You think the North is better off because insecurity has been left to fester there? ? ? ? BTW, you have not been following events. A lot of bandits have been killed in the forests in the North and other parts of the country in recent months. 1 Like |
