Can a poor man afford not to drink garri in one week? Okorocha is saying truth, but from a rich man's perspective. So, you want those who don't have money to eat rice or swallow 24/7 when they don't even have money to cook soup. You are the blockhead here, is it ur garri?

hurricaneChris:

If after three years, you still believe its not necessary for a president to have started and completed a project, then you are an embarrassment

Even the ones he met in office, how many of them have been completed?
On my way to Ilorin every month, i pass through Lagos-Ibadan expressway. And i can tell you the road is like a sh!thole.

This is just one out of the numerous projects he met in power.
I think we should forget the ones he initiated and finished for now and talk about the ones he met and has completed

Must you lie even if you want to criticise. Though, I don't support Buhari's government, but Lagos/Ibadan express road is not a shithole. I use that road this month and Fashola has really worked there. What about Electricity? Are you in Niger

Some people lacks common sense. It is not common though. I don't think Aunty Kemi is throwing a jab here. She is actually saying the truth. With the level of effort the Nigerian entertainment industry has invested in their works, she should have gone there for an Oscar not a movie role only. We have seen the likes of Omotola, Genevive, Ramsy, Olu Jacobs given a movie role in the Hollywood. When are they getting an Oscar? Let's value our own and not always seeing the whites Americans superior to the Black African Race. Nigeria is truly a shithole - Donald Trump

U said "we computer scientist build tools and analyze PROGRAMS".... May I ask what will you use to build the tools, is it not by PROGRAMMING.

"anybody can be a programmer".. So far someone is a programmer, he's already a computer scientist.
Though I agree computer science is wide but you cannot say a programmer is not a computer scientist

Being a programmer doesn't make you a computer scientist. Google about what computer science entails. Does ordinary programmers know algorithms? Can they analyse algorithms? Do they know how those programs run in the computer? Do they under computer architecture? A pol Sci student can learn how to program but they are not computer scientist. Do you know the reason why some companies demand that you have your first degree in computer science before they can employ u to their IT department? Because they understand what it takes to be a computer scientist.

The thing is that programming is the bedrock of anything you are doing on computer, though its not compulsory to learn it.
But its good for someone to have it at the back of his mind that its a programmer that built the app he is using to do his work.
So everything is still under programming.

Programming doesn't make you a computer scientist. There are lot to it. We computer scientist build tools and analyse programs or data. Anybody can be a programmer. Even market women could enroll for programming classes at aptech. What would differentiate them from computer scientist is that, do they know how the program runs? the time, space?
Education / Re: 12 Universities To Choose If From You Want To Study Computer Science by jumaian(m): 11:23am On Jan 02, 2018
When it comes to computer science, Covenant is the best. They have received various grants in computer science and bioinformatics. But for public varsities, I will vouch for University of Ibadan. In all, as a student, you have to develop yourself.

The key courses which hold computer science are algorithm and data structures which are not taught well in Nigeria. It goes beyond programming or writting codes. It's your ability to determine the running time and space complexity of a program.

Well, Convenant Uni is the best.

just want to ask you one simple question ?

how comfortable will you feel having someone who once killed your brother prescribe drugs for you

And the female doctors sent there were the ones who killed your brother? Do you even care to know that there are igbos among the soldiers? Are they not the same soldiers who killed over 200 in zakazy's saga? Are they not still performing their functions in peace in the north? We should stop all these pity game.

What is the wicked plan in being vaccinated by the military? I pity your logic. We were vaccinated by the military in my primary school days in Lagos. It's a normal routine. Hatred has eaten into your brain. Kanu has done more harm than good to the Igbos. What a shame.

Same people who were saying the free medications taken to the east should be sent back to the north. You all said the poverty in the north is alarming, that FG should direct their care there.

I've been going through comments by non Igbos on this issue since yesterday and i see a Generation of people that have lost all senses of reasoning due to astronomical prejudice and hatred of Igbos.
Since when did Military personnel start administering vaccination on children in Nigeria? What happened to the local health workers from the Federal and state ministry of Health.
Were the school authorities and Parents informed prior the commencement of the vaccination exercise in the East?
If there was truly an outbreak of epidemic that requires a vaccination, shouldn't there be a Nationwide vaccination campaign in schools, churches and clinics?
Why would any reasonable parent allow a child to be vaccinated when the government has not adequately sensitized the public about the contents of the vaccine?
You and your fellow bigots are displaying extraordinary ignorance which i'm utterly ashamed of.

There is no outbreak of an epidemic disease in the East and we have sufficient medical facilities in the face of any outbreak. I'm absolutely shocked that you consider the East a hotbed of deadly diseases and a region with insufficient medical infrastructure.
It's pathetic that Nigerians have your type of mentality because of deep resentment of Igbos. Wow!

What are you talking about. When I was in primary school, Lagos. We were given injection know as "abere ajesara" by the yorubas in school by the military men. Why do igbos love playing the pity game or complain over everything? If these same medications were taken to the north only with billions budgeted for it, you will still come here to cry marginalisation. Always crying.

Lagos - Ibadan is expressway left out. Can anybody explain the reasons. Could it be it has been taken care under the 2017 budget? But if yes, what why am I reading that Julius Berger is moving out of the site and laying off about 400 workers in social media.
Kabba-Ilorin, and conspicuously left out.
Akure-Owo-Lokoja linking SW to the FCT was not included.

You comment on Lagos-Ibadan Express way as if you have been there recently. Before you complain, tour the road yourself and see the work on Fashola.

Romance / Re: Is it Possible To Start All Over Again After Graduating? by jumaian(m): 6:48pm On Oct 08, 2017
Well, a friend of mine did the same thing. After graduating in a course his dad forced him to do, then he start all over in another university with his dream course. My take, you need to consider the age factor. In Nigeria, once you are above 26, it's very difficult to get a Job as a graduate. So if you graduated at 26, and you are starting all over. It is not a good idea. I will advice you get certifications as a back up to your first degree. But if you think age is on your side, then go for it.
