None that I've heard of. Except you have a scholarship agreement or sth but working doesn't grant one that automatically

To the gurus, I know in some states in the US, once you can work for 20 hours a week as a student, your tuition will either be halved or waved completely. I want to find out if this is also applicable in Canada.
Thanks

Yeah, that works. Use her as your secondary sponsor. Your proof of family ties will clear every doubt. And the info you give as regards your other siblings should also clear the air.

@Austinpee4 and Justhelping

I really appreciate your response, if I can raise up to 6m do I really need a sponsor, what exchange rate do they use because based on my calculations it about that amount for $30k I just want to know what I can provide to make them understand that she is just like a back up incase am in need of assistance not necessarily a sponsor. Also am actually the last of 4 so she doesn't have any dependants because they are all adults and working.

Hi, if you've sent them an email, they'll reply. But I'll suggest you contact a number listed anywhere on the website. One should eventually transfer you to a receptionist whom you can speak with and have your call transferred to the intl office. You can do this in about an hour/45mins cuz it's currently lunch hour.

The receipt will likely come by email or billed to your account for you to print out. Be calm, it's never too late.

Good evening all. Please I need your help. I have admission at Concordia University for fall 2017, have paid my fees, applied for the receipt but haven't gotten the receipt yet. Any ideas on who I can call for my receipt or a contact to send email to. I have sent email to the international students office but no response yet. I haven't applied for my sturdy permit yet and I feel it's getting late for fall 2017. Also, is the receipt going to come via email? Thanks for any assistance in this regard.

Hey, as long as it's not a sum of money that was dumped in the account, don't be worried about them questioning her source of funds.

Have something that shows she's a retiree, like a certificate of completion of service from her workplace/something related. Her age would back that up as well.

Your total funds is about 30k dollars in proof to your financial stand. It's okay to do your best and try to prove you have up to or more than the amount. However, if it's close to that it's still fine as long as there's good inflow and outflow. More so, you're supporting yourself. So give your best, and leave the rest.

Hi all,

Please I need assistance, my Tuition fee is about $20,000CAD + $10,000 living expense. I have about 4M in my own account and my sponsor has about 5M....is that enough to use as source of funds?

Also my mum is my sponsor and she has good turnover however it's a personal account, do they normally ask for the source of funds during processing? And if they do can someone please help me with the best response to give because she doesn't have any business and she is a retiree.
