Career / Re: Secretaries (Or Personal Assistants) On Nairaland by kabirat(f): 11:23am On Jan 16, 2008
Compliments of the season to you all!

i would like the contribution of all to a pressing question that has been bordering me for so long and i m sure most of you must have encountered such situation one way or the other.

I attended an interview and was asked to handle this scenario: I am a Secretary to the MD/CEO (who is a male) of an organisation and my boss is attending to a female friend (Girl friend to be precise) in his office while his wife is at the reception waiting to see him. Hw will i prevent the wife from knowing wat was going on in his office or prevent her from entering the office?

Secondly, My Boss is owing someone some amount of money and the person came to the office to seek for the payment of his money but my boss does not want to see him. Meanwhile the Creditor insisted on collecting his money that day. Hw will i handle the situation?

Your contributions would be highly appreciated as i ve never encountered such situation since my MD is a female but i would like to know in case i m employed to work with a male.

Thanks smiley
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Impromptu Resignation Or Formal Resignation, Which Is Better by kabirat(f): 2:24pm On Nov 29, 2007
Thanks for ur responses. But what if the employee was employed as a contract staff, lets say for two years. what do u advise the person to do assuming he/she has another better opportunity waiting?
Jobs/Vacancies / Impromptu Resignation Or Formal Resignation, Which Is Better by kabirat(f): 2:41pm On Nov 16, 2007
I noticed that most organisation Boss are not always happy knowing that their staff wants to leave for another company. Even, if the staff personally told them about it or tender a resignation letter, they still feel unhappy. Which makes me wonder if it is worth it informing them ahead about your intension to leave (either personally or through writing) or present an impromptu letter?

Please nairalanders, i need your opinion on this.

@ roughcut,

Please i am still anovice in this stock market of a thing. I have some money to invest in some stock but i m a bit confused about it.

I would like you to help me with the kind of shares i can invest into either primary or secondary market.

Secondly, if i want to invest in blue chip companies, which can i invest on?

Thirdly, i would like to know the best time to buy stock from the secondary market.

I await ur urgent response cause i dont want to spend the money i have with me on something that is not worthwhile.

Lest i forget, what do you think about Japaul Oil stock? Is it going to be worth the while if one invest into it?

Thank you for ur anticipated response.

The question is to what extent was she sozzled
If she realises that she had made a huge blunder the week before this act, would it not be normal reaction to act as though ignoranct and hide under the r a p e cover. I think we should look at all possibilities and not allow our emotions get the better of us.

My brother what about going out with a guy and he is asking the waiter for 1 bottle after another for you of your free will you continue taking in more alcohol even beyond your known limit. You them follow him to his house and turn around to blame him for taken advantage of you. This your law na wa o grin

>These guys have been cut off from the world for close to 3 months
>Alcohol is an intoxicant, people have been known to commit crime or acts against society's layed down norms when high on something form of drug. What makes this case different He acted under the influence if she claims she did not know what went down under the influence

I m quite surprised that a fellow naija could think this way and even utter this kind of comments. how can u doubt the fact that Ofunneka was sexually assaulted by the so called married fool, Richard? she was quite unconscious of what is happening to her but Richard was still sane when he was indulging in such act. Had it been that he was unconscious too, he wouldn't have mentioned the kiss he shared with Offunneka afterwards. It really shows how irresponsible that married fool is.

Already, he has the intension of molesting all the ladies in the house as his strategy to win the game. so what are we saying now? This shows fully well that what he did on Saturday was quite intensional and done in sanity.

To back up my contributions, i would like u all to visit www.tvsa.co.za where u would get full analysis of South Africans about the issue. U just check the BBA version in the site.

As for me, i will really prefer Ofunneka to win the game and not Cheater Richard nor Tatiana the tart and husband snatcher.

One luv!

That will be that "Mzansi_gal" that drew your ire the other time.

The Untouchables is a better sell than Big 5. At least in name, and cohesion.
The big5 is gradually becoming "The Big Floxy, Little Richard, Tiny boreen, Uhmmm hmmmm Code mmm (I just don't know, men) and others"

we can give Code Codeen, u know, one bitter tablet cause his face is always squeezed as if he is unhappy grin

everbright, i support you, Richard must leave the house on Sunday. I can wait for him to leave. It would be better if we suspend Kweku now and deal with Richard the dawg. he is really getting me pissed nowadays with his attitude and infidelity to wife. angry
Romance / Re: Good Job Or Good Wife: Which Is Harder To Find? by kabirat(f): 12:22pm On Sep 21, 2007
i commend the originator of this topic. it is really a good question to ask the general public.

To me, it is easy to find both. its just that human beings make things very difficult for themselves.

A guy may happen to ve dated so many good ladies but eventually jilt dem only to marry the most horrible creature. This same goes for a lady who might ve dated so many good guys but becos of their big eye, eventuall fall into the wrong ones.

So, my dear nairalanders, its very easy to get both but many of us happened to cause our misfortunes by not realising the right kind of spouse at the appropriate time.

May Almighty God help us! wink smiley

shocked

Girl, u better forget about that guy.

he is bad news to you and irresponsible.

moreover, it is better that u ve known his true color now than later, so u can walk away and get hooked with someone more responsible.

Also, do away with ur so called friend. U can choose ur friends and not ur family, so end ur friendship with that girl now if u want another fruitful and lasting relationship.

Thank goodness that u realised during ur courtship and not when u re married, it would ve been disastrous.

cool

Dating And Meet-up Zone / Re: Which Nairaland Members Would You Prefer To Date? by kabirat(f): 3:47pm On Aug 22, 2007
U all re just mentioning names without really knowing them physically. What if u meet ur favorites physically and he/she is not up to expectation, will u come back and change ur opinion about such person?

Why dont u try and have a date with some of ur choices and see if truely they re what u tink before pronouncements.

peace grin grin
