I don't think you need to do any other thing after cleaning the TB. Just install back a new airfilter.

Not just the throttle body, those dust and sand will pass the throttle body, pass the intake manifold, pass the intake valves and rest inside the combustion chambers? Guess what will happen? Those dust and sand will eat up your rings, pistons, cylinder walls or piston liners/sleeves. The first symptom will be smoke, next will be engine failure.

1628 is the Peugeot Part number. I only saw one o2 sensor with that part number at Gudu market. Its difficult to find.

You can replace it with any Universal Bosch o2 sensor (4 wires: 2 whites, 1 grey & 1 black wires). Even the one you removed is Bosch as well, i believe. Only that they produced them for Peugeot and stamped Peugeot part number on it.

By pre-o2, i believe you mean the upstream sensor. It should have green connector, not blue. The blue connector o2 is the downstream sensor, one after the caty. Just make sure you put exactly Bosch o2 sensor with the same coloured connector.

after connecting back d vacuum hose i thought dat would fixed d high rev issue but i was wrong. I researched on dis issue and finds out it was d steper dat was covered with carbon. So i cleaned it with carb cleaner, replaced it back and after dis d high rev stopped.

You need to also test your CTS with DMM, to be sure its not the cause of the rich running and not the oxygen sensor.

In fact, the best is to scan the car (better if its pp2000). There are other components that can cause rich running other than o2 sensor and CTS, when faulty.

Check to see if any of the vacuum lines was not properly plugged in or clamped in the engine bay. Also check all the sensors or component connectors on the engine, to be sure they are plugged in well. It could be that the mechanic unplugged something without plugging it back well after the spark plug replacement.

But wetin concern self engine high rev to injectors? This beings called Nigerian mechanics!

Yes cooling system thermostat was removed, i use water, i did not change my tyres to non factory size and its showing check engine light while engine is running

No it does not emit black smoke from the back, also i am not in Abuja. I am in Lagos. i noticed that my engine speed indicator(rpm) was on 2 instead of 1 or 0.

I hope that is not the cause of excess fuel consumption.

I have peugeot 406 1998 model. it started consuming a lot of fuel when my gasket got roasted. my mechanic changed the gasket and also remove the tetmostat saying that that was the cause of the car overheating.
after these i noticed that the car consumes alot of fuel.i cant drive from ishaga to Agidingbi with a 20liters fuel. Also i notice the Engine light shows often. i am careful not to give this mechanics that will help spoil ones car.
