I have received an unregistered package today. Ordered on 31st March 2021, received today 11th May, that's total of 42 days. Meanwhile I have a registered package that is currently 68 days in transit and has not even arrived Nigeria yet.

Your parcel is unregistered, it will take time usually a month to reach your local post office after arriving Nigeria.

I've had an order like that before, I went to the post office to ask about it, one of the guys pulled out his phone and was able to track it and told me it was being cleared by Nigerian customs.
This was pre covid19

My questions was how were they are able to track it, and since it's in the country, then why hasn't the tracking been updated, because it was still showing in transit.

Any how I eventually got it after a few more days of waiting.

yes, I believe my package is in Nigeria, but it was probably not cleared yet by Nigeria customs or Nipost did not update the tracking information.

Has anyone here ordered from Aliexpress a phone screen replacement, got it, installed it and is working? I want to order one from AE....the price of the screen here in Nig is twice the price on AE.

I have done that on several occasions like six times and all worked perfectly. The latest one was redmi 8a screen in September 2020, the only exception was a HTC one M8 screen which the seller sent a wrong screen (one M7). I opened dispute later and my money was refunded without even asking me to return the item.

I think there should be a severe penalty against sellers who dubiously advertise items that they don't have or are not willing to ship after payment was made. A buyer should not go through the anxiety of waiting 3 months to receive his refund without compensation after a dubious seller scammed him.

order was shipped on 6th Nov, dispatched on 9th and arrived Nigeria on 21st same month. But it was in Nipost possession for almost 3 months.

I have a similar issue with my NIN, the phone number was mine since 2007 before the NIN exercise was started, I did my BVN in 2013 but I have never enrolled for NIN yet when I dialled *346# a NIN number appeared. I thought it was mine generated by BVN, then after putting the number in the NIMC app all the details that appeared (name, picture, age and gender) are not mine, except the phone number which is still mine. I have contacted the NIMC through their twitter handle, Facebook and email in order to know what should be done but no answer yet for the past two weeks.

I have yet to receive my 11/11 order that entered Nigeria on Nov 29th 2020 the PO said they don't have it but I just got Dec 30th order that landed in Nigeria on Jan 8th. All shipped with Cainiao. Is there any explanation for this? I think the 11/11 order should be the one to be received first because it landed in Nigeria almost a month before the Dec 30th order and it's going to two months now.
