NYSC / Re: Name On My Bvn Doesn’t Correlate With My Nin. What Do I Do? by Karofski: 9:06pm On May 04
Jaccinta:

How did you solve this, I already removed the third name on NIN, do I have to do the same for BVN
I had to remove the middle name in the nin since to me it was the easiest option.
I don't know if the bvn will affect the creation of account for nyse. I only know about the nin cos I have experience that one. Though I have a feeling u may not encounter an issue since it between u and the bank u are been assigned to, with the bank sending your details to nyse for payment of allowee. And I believe this details may not include your bvn.
If I may ask, how many names do ur current bank account have?

I used two names for Jamb and that's what I also have on my school certificate, my NIN has three names as well as BVN if I make changes on my NIN will it affect my BVN while opening account in the NYSC camp?
Try to make your name to be same, either use 3 names in all or 2. If not, it will affect u when registering for nyse.
In my case, I had 2 names in all except my nin which had 3 names. When I wanted to register with batch A2 2024, I could not advance through d pre registration phase. D system response was that there is a name difference in the nin (which have 3names) and dat on their system (d one uploaded by my school and dat of jamb which has 2 names without d middle name). So I couldn't register.
Try to harmonize your names asap

My nin has 3 name while in every of my other documents have only 2 name without my middle name. Will this affect my nyse registration?
Education / Re: Econometrics by Karofski: 7:37pm On Jul 25, 2023
The R square of 0.306 show that 30.6% of the dependent variable (wage) is been explained by the independent variables. This means that d model is not fit and more variables is to be included to explain d dependent variable.
From d coefficients, holding educ and exper constant will lead to a negative impact on wage where a unit change will lead to wage reducing by 9.399
Educ have a positive significant (its significant because d t-value of 4.303 is greater than 1.96 at 5% significance and also d probability value is 0.0000 which is less than 0.05 at 5% level of significance). A unit increase in d level of education will lead to an increase in wage by 1.263.
Exper have a positive impact though not significant ( it is insignificant because d t-value of 1.650 is less than 1.96 at 5% level of significance and also d probability value of 0.106 is greater than 0.05). A unit increase in d level of experience will lead to an increase in wage by 0.110.
Wage= -9.49 + 1.26 (Educ) + 0.11(Exper) means that ; holding other things constant, wage will decrease by 9.49. A unit increase in Educ will increase wage by 1.26. A unit increase in Exper will increase wage by 0.11.
