Firefire:sometimes, I doubt if posterity exists in nigeria cos the way we shape the past and the future amazes nature here. My dad and his mates had always prayed that posterity will one day judge buhari for the way he upturned their booming biz back in the days but that same buhari was shaped around to become a saint. 13 Likes 1 Share |

Tolexander:like one proverb has it, ' he who is leading without anyone following him is only taking a walk' and u lead right from your doorsteps then to the outside world. For someone who couldn't lead any of his kinsmen to claim he's trying to lead a whole country is the height of deception. Let's believe that the presidency failed... why couldn't he help pdp win seats in the state assemblies there? apc won state assembly seats in edo state unlike pdp that failed in bauchi state. |

Muazu, let's believe that u didn't sell out pdp but one of the strongest quality of a good leader is charisma.... since u lacked that charisma to even win ur local constituency and u can't also control ur members, I don't think it's quite reasonable for u to still remain as the leader. u can make a wonderful follwer if u so love the party, and u support any charismatic leader with ur ideas for the benefit of our united party. 4 Likes |
Politics / Some Deduction I Made From Oby's Interview. by kasiem(m): 11:59am On May 03, 2015 |
#1: when the man from maidugri made a claim that part of the problems which culminated to boko haram was the neglect by government and asked what obasanjo did to control this neglect........ Oby, in response said that state collect fifty of the federation allowance, she acknowledged the fact that the state government has more responsibility in connecting with their local constituents and citizenry more than the federal government..... So, going by this why did Oby during her BBOG campaign not acknowledge the responsibility of shettima in playing a part in the chibok issue cos he was the chief security of the state and collects security allowances, rather Oby heaped all the responsibility of federal government? #2: when a lady asked a question that pertains to combating of corruption in the country.... Oby acknowledged the fact that gej's administration has taken a unique and giant step in that area by creating a 'social safety net' as systems and which has the capacity of looking into youth unemployment..... does this justify Gej's claim during the campaign that he has digitally fought corruption despite the fact that he's not used the crude and primordial means which some people have been profering as veritable means? #3: at the earlier stages of the interview, the whole house including Oby acknowledged the fact that nigeria has made tremendous progress the fight against corruption, rising from nö 2 during the obj's days to nö 38 in gej's days on transparency international..... furthermore, does this show the fact that Oby was being deceptful in criticising gej of being corrupt and depleting the nation's reserve? #4: Oby in the interview tried saying the country is in a bad shape going by the fact that the elites have failed in galvanising our shared vision..... is Oby part of this elites cos coming from nnewi south where she's from I'm yet to have that sense of connection which Oby has for her fellow constituents, as she's totally disconnected from the grassroot. Could it be said she's one of the problems of nigeria? 19 Likes 3 Shares |

Culture / The Stupidity Of Sentimental Hate by kasiem(m): 12:13am On May 02, 2015 |
Like every human we were brought into the world with unique features. No one can write about how he originated into the world cos all that we believe ourselves to be is originated from all the fallacies we've been stereotyped with right from our developmental stage by the people around. They tell us we are Christians and we are from a particular tribe and family, accordingly we shape and define our lives along that line. Were we adopted, picked from a gutter, gotten through insemination or born by other people from other religious divide, we wouldn't know and wouldn't ask such cos we are comfortable with all the fairy tales of what they meant us to believe about our being. The only sure and standing fact that wouldn't need anyone to tell us about remains the fact we are humans, funnily, we place less value on this fact over the tales and stereotypes hoodwinked us with right from the developmental stage of our existence. Immediately we become conscious of the fact that we are from a particular religious divide, tribe, social strata, etc we start viewing the others from opposite divide with scorn. It feels wonderful to as a christian to see all others outside ur faith as sinners and avoided in order to make heavens, same way a Muslim will love to hate all others as infidels and need be given a jihad treatment. The tribe we come from determines our humanity instead of our humanity determining our tribes, everyone would love to maintain his acclaimed social strata to avoid going out of the stereotype built in him. Unfortunately, no one can tell about the sperm that brought him or her into the world. You see someone who was brought into the world with the world with a poor hausa man's sperm hating hausa people with passion just because he was adopted into an igbo family from a motherless home and given the stereotype that he's an igbo and as a christian so should be mindful of his dealing with people of different, and he wouldn't be found dealing with a pauper. That's the stupid nature of hate which is prevalent in the world. The moment we do away with all the stereotypes implanted in us from our developmental stage and define our lives with the clear fact of being humans before anything else, humanity will see the wonders of love. You being born into a rich family is not a right, it's a privilege cos u didn't create yourself so no point treating the poor ones that came into the world with the privilege of penury as no humans. Chief, the child you are killing and stealing to give a better life, thereby depriving other children their little stipends, was not brought into ur family cos u moulded ur sperm very well rather it's a privilege and that poor child that's dying of hunger somewhere else could've been your child. So help humanity by treating everyone with that love u can give to someone. Let's build humanity with love. Kasiem greets |

Politics / Dokpesi To Buhari: You Can’t Bar AIT, Documentaries Were Factual On April 29, 20 by kasiem(m): 1:40pm On Apr 29, 2015 |
The proprietor of Daar Communications PLC, Raymond Dokpesi, has stated that Monday’s decision by the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, to bar one of its subsidiaries, Africa Independent Television, from covering his activities was an attempt by the former military Head of State to bring back the era of Decree 4, according to an interview he granted Premium Times. Mr. Dokpesi said Mr. Buhari lacks the power to stop the AIT from covering his activities, as doing so would amount to breaking the law. “I am sure that the President-elect needs to be reminded of Decree 4, and he should be clearly reminded that section 32 of the constitution makes it mandatory for the media to hold public officials accountable to the people,” he said. Chief Raymond Dokpesi and President-elect Buhari He also said Section 39 of the constitution equally grants Nigerians the freedom of expression and to hold opinion. “The president-elect said that he does not want to be covered by AIT, but AIT has a responsibility to the Nigerian public to report the things that are happening,” he said. “There are three national networks available for national coverage in Nigeria, the NTA, AIT and Silverbirds. You cannot stop a foremost private station from reporting in Nigeria, it brings us back to Decree 4 era.” Mr. Dokpesi also acknowledged that Mr. Buhari may have taken his decision based on the documentaries ran by the station during the electioneering campaign. He said Daar Communications is a commercial entity and therefore reserves the right to run anything it considers worthy of being televised. He said there is also a right of response available to anyone who feels strongly about any matter broadcast by the station. “If they had produced their own documentary to say this is what we want and AIT did not publish it, then that is another matter,” he said. “What is obviously very clear is the fact that AIT believes that the historical information about the President elect that were ran, were factually correct. Nothing was done to defame him or impinge on his character or integrity.” Mr. Dokpesi also added that another documentary about one of the national leaders of APC, Bola Tinubu were also factually correct. The media proprietor said although the documentaries were produced outside of Daar communications, “We take responsibility for the running of these items and I as an individual is satisfied because due diligence was followed in ensuring that the things that are contained were factually right”. |

Which igbo youths? Every criminal now uses the sacred name of igbos just to get favours from a government that we've proven so far that we don't believe in. Anyway, thankGod for the republican nature of the igbos cos no one can claim control of the igbos.
