c0llynz02: So what you are saying in essence is that APC should field a man who has completely lost touch with the present world just to please the northerners?
Buhari can be our Mandela! Mandela also lost touch with ongoing situation of the world before he was released from Prison to become president and eventually made that change he could muscle. Now he is bn immortalised. I'm hoping Buhari can replicate that against corruption in our land cos at his age there shouldn't be that urge to amass much wealth unlike our Ball-less Presido GEJ

barcanista: who tell you say we de suffer? Oboy wise up, with or without government we de flex(don't ask me why).

Like I said, WE can fight among ourseves but WE WILL NEVER join an outsider to fight our brother irrespective of the situation.

Lastly, e no go beta for you for calling an Ijawman clueless.

How ironic! U sound so much like a frustrated man than someone flexing LMAO

Yes we deserve better like Buhari right ?
Not necessarily Buhari but someone visionary and with genuine leadership qualities. We all know GEJ doesn't fall into that category

barcanista: Oga stop being self deceptive, Amaechi is loved BUT his political associates ie APC is a NO to the Rivers People.
Its a case of, Sir we love your achievement, its the best in the history of Rivers State, however, we can't vote for your candidate or party that does not align with the Niger-Delta/Ijaw Interest(Jonathan's Presidency).
99.999999% of Rivers people will THUMBPRINT for every PDP candidates in the general election. Not because we see Amaechi as a failure, but because we see him as a Performer who metamorphosed into a Traitor. That's the hard truth.
You may decide not to believe but may God spare our lives beyond 2015.

Let me add that within the Ijaw nation, we've fought wars against each other but NEVER have we teamed with an outsider against our brothers. Same applies to the other tribes within Rivers/Bayelsa
. No wonder Ijaw pple are suffering! U'd rather compromise on development all because U want to fight for a clueless brother Very interesting

Its bewildering how some pple here still clamour for clueless JEG! This man I blv is just an opportunist. He shouldn't hv even bn close to the corridors of power talkless of ruling. Sometimes I wonder if he truly is a Prof I watched a couple of his interviews and I can't just explain the level of disappointment and pity I felt for the Nation. We deserve better!!!
Travel / Re: I Am A U.S. Consular Officer: Ask Me Your Visa Questions. by katakara: 11:58pm On Nov 28, 2013
Dear Consular, here is this friend of mine who applied 4 a visit visa in 2009 and lied he is married at that time in a bid to get visa approval due to erroneous believe that the embassy issue visas for married people. Now he has a legitimate fiancee who is a USC and have visited him twice. They are envisaging procuring a Fiance visa 4 him to join her and he is afraid cos he had lied in his previous application. Now by virtue of all iv read hear on this ur wonderful thread, I advised him to just come clean to the interviewer rather than going to arrange some counterfeit documents like divorce cert or death cert to nullify the supposed fake previous marriage. I need ur advise on this please cos I'll show him ur responce to butress my point on coming out clean since he never tendered any fake doc yet. What's his chance? Tanx!
Celebrities / Another Nigerian, Making Us Proud by katakara: 4:41pm On Nov 26, 2013
In this era where Nigerians just can't stop gaining Notoriety for the Country in almost every part of the world. I marvel and get so inspired when I come across some patrotic ones who has chosen to tread the wonderful path of bringing glory back to the name of the Nation by doing diligent chores and exhibiting great God given talents to send a message across the world that not all Nigerians are actually Lazy Conmen with the "get rich quick syndrome". Out of this few, Mr Ade Adesina stands out like a shinning star in the Galaxy. I was present at one of numerous Art exhibiton in the United Kingdom which showcased the young man's artwork and I was once again proud to be a Nigerian after seeing the work of this young man who grew up in Ibadan and migrated to the United kingdom in the early 2000. He is doing an exceptional fine work of Arts in Scotland and has won himself several accolades and awards. U can visit his facebook page
facebook.com/art.adesina to checkout his profile, see his numerous works and encourage him by liking his page because we obviously need more people like this to send a message not only to other people of the world but to our own upcoming youths that hardwork pays and anybody can get anywhere through hardwork.

I duff my hat 4 ACN (Post APC) Governors. I was in Abeokuta and Ibadan a couple of days ago and I will confess I was so impressed with the infrastructural developments the Governors are taking on. I remember going to those states when PDP was in office in the states and it was a disappointn story which I wouldn't want to even go Here. I hope APC as a party will continue where can stopd and keep that brilliant perfomance going
