I finally got my visa today! Yaayyy! I knew i was going to testify too before the end of this week. I applied in Ikeja on the 12th, got a decision made mail yesterday and i went there today with fate and my visa was already waiting for me. Big ups to every moderator/contributor on this thread. You have no idea how many people you've saved with your advice and encouragements. Enroute Coventry via London tomorrow. Anyone with me?

Hi guys. I just got a mail now that a decision has been made on my application. Is it possible that it gets to ikeja tomorrow? As i intend to collect it tomorrow and travel on saturday. Late resumption in Coventry is on monday 26th. Someone please reply asap! Thanks.

I got my visa this morning at TP Ikeja, I submitted online on the 29th December, went for my interview on the 6th of January, got "ready" mail yesterday and collected my documents today. Thank you all..

She means the docs you took with you or that were checked when you went to take your Intl passport and other docs back from TP..after your visa was issued..

@Kathy007, I think the docs you should take should include: the 3-page application checklist of documents you submitted to TP, with the 3rd and last page importantly being the data page of your intl passport; your appointment sheet; and passport photo(s).

I submitted my app on the 22nd of Dec, since I didn't get any mail frm TP Ikeja, I decided to go there myself these afternoon, but to my suprise my pkg was ready for collection, tho they didn't mail me. I opened the pkg my visa as been approved since the 9th of January. I hereby Thank every member of these great thread. Please what documents did you go there with? And how did you go about it? Cos late enrolment in my school is on the 26th (monday) and i'm thinking of going to ikeja to check for my application's status tomorrow.

Yeah u have a point there but not all school does that!...u will be surprised if he/she calls the school to explain his/her situation, they can give alternative or better advice. u never know till u try!....Its better than doing nothing/to wait for his/her visa approval.

I already called the school and i was told i'd have to defer till september if my issue isn't resolved before 26th (God forbid! Wetin i wan siddon dey do?). Anyway, i've applied for visa and i'm praying i get a favourable response this week cos the late resumption date (26th) is next monday. My maintenance fee was in my dad's business account before now as we were not aware that it had to be in a personal account. So when i was told that it wouldn't work that way, my dad transferred it into a personal account. But the thing is the money will be 28 days by 9th of january and late enrolment in school is 26th january. Is it possible that i apply for visa and still get to travel befor this 26th? As i wouldn't be able to enrol again after this date. Please i need help.

Pals pls don't regret it. When I was posted to kwara 2009, I thought it was the end of life too.

To start with, yikpata camp is one of the best camp in nija, full of life and reserved. The life in camp there is fun if u knows hw to socialize.

As for the ppa posting, the local governments and the villagers r accommodating. I served in Ekiti LGA, obbo aiyegunle precisely. My stay there was fun. I happened to b the coordinator during my time. We worked together and always arrange weekend parties in my place to keep ourselves busy.

Kwara doesn't seen the way u think or the way the name sounds. Those going to oyun, barokiri etc, just do ur best. Those going to Ilorin, omaran, offa, OSI, etc enjoy ursef well, those r the happening places.



Warning:
Pls watch out for snakes
Make use of ur touch light always
Don't move any how within the camp
Use ur stipends very well
