As a first-time traveler, I'd suggest having enough documentation that shows ties to your home country. Job, pension, family, landed property where possible and any other thing that shows you have significant ties back home.

Finally got a message to come collect my passport yesterday. I went there today. They refused my application, the reason they gave was that the information regarding the justification of the purpose and conditions of intended stay was not reliable, after three months of keeping my passport. Can anybody help me explain better this reason, and what I should do to avoid this in my next application

My is Feb, I haven’t gotten a response yet from the Embassy regarding my Passport. I’m still waiting.

Was this your first application?

Thanks once again and I wish anyone waiting for their response best of luck.

Did you submit your Tax clearance certificate? That's the only one I don't have currently and I am not willing to do a fraudulent one, or go pay any taxes as I am supposed to be exempt.

8 weeks give or take. But you'll be able to track the progress of the vessel so that should not be a worry.

I suggest you put a process to qualify leads in place.
Your communications problem will increase if you're not able to differentiate between those who are ready to buy, or those who are still in the searching and window shopping phase. You're most likely having issues because you are still trying to manually sift through all these contacts and determine those who are potential leads VS those that are not yet ready. If I use my experience as an example I can understand what is heppening. So the earlier you formulate a policy and process the better.

Qualify your leads, REDUCE Churn.

It came out on the 11th day excluding the actual day the vessel berthed.
Yeah, I also understand from other sources that December is usually like that at the Port.

If you want sarcasm I have it in abundance but I’ll spare you the theatrics. I posted a review because I was impressed with the service I received. I don’t need to add pictures if I don’t want to. I have nothing to prove to you or anyone. If a 100 page thread with plenty of testimonies and zero accusations from any buyer is not enough for you it’s not the pictures I post that will inform you. I only updated it because of the other gentleman who suggested not for folks like you who have no iota of how to speak in a public forum.

I am quoting this for reference. When the time is right I’ll be back to answer you. I’ve seen all manner of attacks on this thread, from Rust, to Mileage, and now to price all with zero objectivity. I know Nigerians can be petty but you bros put the icing on the cake when it comes to pettiness. It would be better that you come out openly and be an adversary than play the ostrich. If you have constructive feedback then provide it to the OP. Snide comments and remarks are for kids who can’t stand up and own their truths. The fact that you continuously monitor comments here makes me wonder exactly what purpose you have here. You can bring in any car you want from any country you want. Why you particular about this thread. Should you forget... Jealousy is the last class to attend before graduating as a witch. When I had issues with the Ops communication I offered constructive feedback. Do the same if you truly have concerns. This is getting rather disgusting. If no one will tell you the truth then you need to hear it from a total stranger. I doubt you have friends if no one has been able to advise you that you’re tackling the OP with a totally wrong approach. May you see reason before you totally ruin your reputation. May I also let you know. Others will soon start offering same type of cars from Canada now that the OP has shown that it’s doable. So get ready to attack every other business who will copy this model. May you find the peace that you seek. Happy Independence Day to you.

As promised above the time is now right for me to give my proper assessment.
Amdman got me a 2006 Camry, we went through several choice until he saw a great vehicle for a good deal. Please note that the car you select originally might not be the one you buy if after inspection he sees any issues.

The carfax report of the car indicated that the car only had one user, which means I am the second owner of a car which has never been in a major accident apart from a scratch to the front bumper. Engine is super quiet. No major repairs to the transmission or engine in any shape form or size. The tires on the car are way better than what I currently have on my current car. Plus the spare tire in the boot is brand new. Beautiful leather interior. Car travelled from Lagos from 6am and Entered Uyo at exactly 3:34Pm I don't know if the driver flew, but he confessed that even plus his stops, the car was moving perfectly. Shocks are still in perfect condition.

On a lighter note.. the previous owner of the car likes Beer sha grin grin grin
And he sent me a full pack of Nestle water cheesy cheesy

If you're still skeptical of this OP, I hope my experience helps you make an informed decision. Since May, I am yet to see anyone come here to complain that he bought a Lemon...

I'll use certain criteria to make this review easy to understand.

1. Communication: When the Op started, this was a major issue. However, after a few of us called him out he reviewed and improved drastically on communication so I'll score him 7/10 here

2. On disclosure and Transparency: The first car I was interested in the seller did not show up. Amdman gave me several options and disclosed all the information. He also gave his personal advice which I followed since he was on the ground even if it meant a slightly higher amount than the first advertised car. Needless to say that I am satisfied with the choice he adviced me on. When the car arrived Nigeria and it was taking longer than neccessary to clear due to the Port congestion, he gave me updates, even to the minutest detail of where we were on the procedure. I'll score him 10/10 here

3. Customer Service: Amdman was exceptional from start to finish. He was calm and answered my plenty questions, Provided all information I needed to make an informed choice. Even offered to go beyond the terms of our contract when the vehicle arrived because I was very far away from Lagos. I score him another 10/10 here

4. On third party services: The agent was calm but nearly lost his cool one time. After that we had a smooth conversation on phone and whatsapp. While I understand he was under pressure I'll score him an 8/10 here

Overall performance I'll score Amdman 9/10 only because I am stingy with marks. It was a pleasant experience except for the undue time it took to clear the car, due to the congestion (which was no fault of his by the way) It was a great experience. If that's how peaceful it is to buy a car from Canada through Amdman, then he will continue to make sales.

Thank you Amdman for delivering on your promise. I have gone for test drive and I am satisfied grin grin grin

Problem with lots of Nigerians is that they will never read to understand. They just read first line and jump into conclusions. You didn’t read first two or three pages but you somehow managed to draw conclusions. Agents of mischief will always be agents of mischief.

Thread title.

Little do you know that I am at the verge of closing a deal, I don't make noise, when i see what I like i pay for it.

I agree that we all are entitled to our opinions but we are not entitled to our own facts.
The thread title has nothing to do with why you are monitoring the thread. However whatever reasons you have I believe that you're entitled to them, but don't for the love of God do them to ridicule anyone's business. If you have constructive feedback, please offer it we will all learn from it. This is Nigeria, we all know how our brothers ask questions. The OP is simply moving with customers feedback. Customer is King, irrespective of the thread title. Nothing wrong if he posts some cars that are above 1.2 based on request. The thread also didn't say people can request, but we all have been making request and he has been providing responses. He is adjusting to demand and that should not be any reason why he should be castigated. The bottom line remains that his prices for similar model cars even with better conditions on his part is MOST times cheaper than the average Nigerian dealer.

Yes, you're closing deals, so are lots of people. So let's all close deals in peace and greet each other with headlights when we pass each other on the road.

You'll make sales OP will make sales, everyone will be happy. May God bless us all and may God Bless the Federal Republic of Nigerians

Demand Sir.

The supply of used Toyotas is finite and the demand is not... so in this situation where demand far exceeds supply, the price will rise.

And when I mean demand, I don't mean demand on NL or Nigeria only. Its global.

Am I going to wait another one week before I get a response on Whatsapp? grin grin grin

I believe I share the same sentiments with others when I say that communication needs to be improved upon. If you're unable to respond to all inquiries, it's better you set the expectations of your customers by providing a time frame for a response. If you say 48 hrs, I'll know to expect a response in 48 hours. However, not knowing when to get feedback plus the time difference makes the entire process frustrating.

I can understand the challenge of responding, and also getting the deals, etc. It's more than a full-time job. I believe that for you to keep providing the cars at the prices you're offering you'll need to keep doing volume sales. If you don't respond to prospective customers in a timely manner, you'll lose 70% of potential sales. Most customers are lost within the first few interactions of a sales cycle. I like what you are doing and so I have decided to offer you some feedback. Whatever your challenges are, I suggest you try to overcome them and put a structure around communication even if not in real-time, you'll see the difference. Otherwise, someone can pick up on your business model and improve on your lapses. While competition is good, don't let it be that it's because of the basics(communication) that you start losing customers. Please fix it NOW!!!

Cheers,
