need to know what car it is

Toyota Camry 1998.

Another point of note; after driving for a while the speedometer stops reading and the odometer display becomes blank. Once this happens the gear shift/chnaging becomes erratic.

Did a few research online and while some says it's the speed sensor others say it's the instrument cluster abi na dashboard display dem dey call am sef... grin

Thanks for your assistance.

Shut your mouth kid.

Don't fail your wife and kids. Do your job as a man and let your wife do her job as a woman. Not being a sissy looking for the woman that will feed you and buy you phones.

Lolz Kid grin grin

Your reasoning is myopic and twisted, you need to undergo a health check of your mental health.

Anyways I get your frustrations, seriously I do.. grin grin

Rather than banter with you on gender roles and responsibilities, I'll make you understand this, if a girl loves her man enough to buy her an expensive gift, it's because she has value for what she has, and she just told the man how she expects to be treated.

The value anyone places on you is defined by how much value you bring to the table. Go refer to proverbs 31 since you like quoting the Bible very well.

Looking at your replies so far it's obvious you're devoid of any form of objectiveness, but then women have never been known for making objective analysis so again I get why you're frustrated.

Moving forward, my only advice is; learn not to argue with superior intellect, it does your overall profile no good, we all disagree to agree, this time you've got it totally wrong, admit and lick your wounds, rather than making more foolery of yourself trying to justify your hypocritical view.

At the end of the day opinions are like ars.e holes, everybody has one, so enjoy your stardom on Nairaland that's all its ever gonna be.

Young lady it's called a relationship for a reason.

If it's wrong for the lady to take care of her man, then you have a warped sense of what love and care means.

Don't deceive yourself and other gullible teens here, a relationship is not a business opportunity, both partners have an equal duty to care for each other in whatever capacity they feel comfortable with.

What I don't encourage or never will is gold digging irrespective of which gender is doing the digging. Anyways we all know which gender prefers digging to working for it in Nigeria, pun intended.

Boss, I just received an email inviting me for the written test having (I believe by "this" email - the most recent one sent to me) scaled through the first objective test.

My question is, what do i expect? and how do i prepare? Thanks in anticipation of your prompt response.

Written test is just like an interview, get ready it's usually a long test, you may spend over an hour on this.

Nothing difficult. Just answer to the best of your availability.

If you had 2:2, it may also be quite difficult for you to get headway for interviews. That's the nature of the job market in our economy lately.
All in all, you have been told to brace up. Don't stay home jobless, or wanting to 'relax small'... You only get one shot at life, don't waste it on sleep, so get something doing no matter how little
Bro, You Made Lots Of Sense There, But Is 2 2 Such A Bad Grade? What Would You Say About People With Grades Below That, Would You Rather They Didn't Attend School At All? Something Has To Be Done About This Considering The Fact That Just About 25% Of Graduates Had 2 1 And Above

Truth is the grade scenario is the reality on ground. This is caused by an over saturated job market, so for fresh graduands, employers want those that have proven to be outstanding during their academic pursuit. In an ideal clime with a sound educational system, this would be correct, but that's not the case with Nigeria.

However, grades can never be the reason someone succeeds or not, factors that affect us most times are; location/environment, attitude, skillset, network and experience.

So if you got a low grade from school, that's not the end believe me when I say you can live a better life than those with better grades.

The steps to take here include, re discover yourself. There must be something you're good at that you may need to harness. Study the course you studied very well, research your specific industry and know what works, if there are international certificates in that area, try getting the some(its not a guarantee, but it shows focus) some industries require practical knowledge eg engineering, don't sit at home waiting for Shell and chevron, your local mechanic can teach you so much in preparation for an engineering role.

If you're in computer science(you're even better placed), start learning to code, gain certifications, Microsoft, CompTia, etc use Google and YouTube to your advantage while learning. Fix peeps computers for free if you have hardware knowledge, or go learn how to do this at a local computer center.

Again if youre in computer science there are numerous remote opportunities out there, with the right skillset and a properly packaged CV you can get a good job.

As the OP said, It's not gonna be easy, but trust God for guidance and follow your passion irrespective of grades.

If you have short memories, others don't. I remember fuel selling for N400 last year April when practically almost all business from banks to telecoms to airlines shut down operations. That was when we made Guinness Book of Records.

Thank you sir, you have said it all

The hypocrisy of most Nigerians is alarming when real issues are being discussed.

That's why our politicians keep playing on our intelligence, by using sentiments to swing votes in their favour.

frustration is already setting in.
Now we know Diezani really tried

I beg to differ

In 2014 precisely around February 16th fuel scarcity began, and it lasted for almost 3 months. My friends wedding fell during that period he bought fuel for almost 500 per ltr in Lagos.

The problem with Nigerians is we forget easily and start the blame game. We don't do objective analysis so we're always quick to jump into conclusion.

The downstream sector is wrought with the highest level of fraud, marketers and govt agencies collude to make the situation worse.

With reference to 2014, what happened in PH specifically, was an arrangement between independent importers to only sell fuel to marketers in a monopolistic arrangement. Even when all depot had products what they did was only one would sell to marketers at a time, thereby making the scarcity to last longer.

DPR on the other hand cannot compel these depot to sell the fuel due to reasons best known to them. Either by our faulty regulatory laws, or by collecting bribes to let the depot have their way.

It got so bad one day when a DPR official insisted on buying fuel at 97 naira, that I asked him to go to the depot to get it at that price. He threatened to seal the station and I asked him to proceed, only for him to call his boss, but fortunately he was someone I knew.

We have a country, where Nigerians are their own worst problems, Deziani didn't do shit, the system is still the same. We just forget easily.

. Thanks

I just notice oil dripping from underneath my engine, took it to Kazeem he checked and say its my power steering "that I need to change the steering". I was so shocked that I had to speed off from there to another guy who says its the power steering oil that I should just monitor it and always top it till am ready to change the steering.

I find this absurd! Changing steering? Who does that!!! Pls help.

You need to change the steering rack and pinion assembly. While not a professional in anyway, I have learnt a lot when this happened to me. Just changed mine as well., and the kazeem messed with the hose while connecting the pump. I tracked the leak to the hose and replaced it myself.

Get ready the steering assembly is kinda pricey.

at the down stroke of all 4cylinders, if you filled them up with liquid, it would take 2.3liters to fill up all your cylinders

Toyota Camry 1997 aka pencil light.
I4 engine.

Please I've got two separate Issues.

1. I took my 1997 toyota camry for a Scan and got these two error codes.

P0340 & P0500

How can I resolve these issues?

Secondly

I took the car to a Mechanic who fixed the AC by welding some part of the condenser that was leaking... Then the AC worked fine for two days. Third day when I was driving with the AC on, my temp gauge went up, when I turned off the AC it went down. Not sure what happened. After that I noticed the AC button light was blinking. then it stops. Now no blinking lights, but AC no longer cools for reasons best known to it
Mechanic certified the Compressor to be okay. Even now, if you turn on the AC you can hear the engine sound change slightly but still no cool air.

Then if you really have any Mech you can recommend in PH, I would be very grateful. beginning to get real drained by the rate of incompetence in Port Harcourt here.

Happy mood Don come again, thank God for the hard time that passed away. grin

Sorry to say, the hard times have not started. If oil price does not improve drastically before the 3rd quarter of the year, expect more hardship. Either way we have to brace up for tougher economic policies. And even with the right things put in place in Nigeria it will still take some time for things to get better. So until we successfully diversify the economy this dollar and naira game will continue. Then each time the dust settles we will have a new black market steady rate.

Example, earlier speculations drive the dollar to 250, it then settled to 230...

Now it went as high as 375, and is now settling to 2xx, maybe we might see a final steady price of 250. Then after a while demand will spike again and so on and so forth. The CBN cannot defend the naira for ever.

That's my lay man's economics grin

Certificate is a show of proof.

While knowledge gained through constant practice is a show of competence... That's just my opinion.
