Romance / Re: Why Do Most Nigerian Guys Do This? by Kayen: 6:55pm On Sep 09, 2022
Chioma4eva:
I mean they toast you for weeks endlessly and try to get your love and attention and when you finally give them the attention and give them the chance to win your heart and maybe after dates and probably sex, they lose interest and go cold. Why is this so? Is love dead in Nigeria?

It's the mindset on both gender, the guys believe no true love especially if you're not financially bouyant that the lady would end up cheating on him, so would not want to be the fall guy but rather get want he want and move.

Same to ladies too, they go into relationship not all in the name of love anymore but for shared responsibility.

Ultimately, as guy or lady if you WANT a lasting relationship, you MUST have a definition and a picture of what you want, such if a guy coming to you or you as a guy going to meet a lady you can see from a distance if he or she is a match to your definition or the imagery you had.

Another thing is character issue both need to work on character (i.e expecting so much from both parties)

This is important to avoid story that touch.

Business / How To Setup A Business In 2017 by Kayen: 2:44pm On Jan 19, 2017
If you've been considering setting up a business either an online based or offline business you've most likely been motivated by the rising volume of joblessness or how people are making a living through buying and selling that is now taking place around or even on the internet.
More and more people are buying products and services online or offline. And if you’re willing to set up your own business and start making a living.

That is you can claim your cut of this expanding self-employed marketplace. Here are the 5 steps to follow to set up an online business. But before we proceed, a side

NOTE: Online Business is when your businesses are majorly on the internet While Offline Business is when your rent a store and stock it with products or offer your services.
Haven’t said that less continue with the 5 steps:

1. Pick Your Market

Picking your market is also what is called a NICHE. If you're going to set up business your first task is to determine (research, check around, look around) what type of business it's going to be. Are you going to sell products or services? Who are you selling to i.e your TARGET? Are you selling your own products, services or you can sell products produced by other businesses who will pay you commissions on your sales.
If you can answer all of the above questions correctly that means you’re moving toward a profitable venture.

2. Build Your Website or Rent a Shop

Most of the work in your business have being covered if step 1 is done properly so getting a shop or website online isn't as complicated as you may think any more. Initially you'll need to get a name brand name that will resonate with what product or services you’re offering then go ahead and rent the store and design it with your products or services.
For a website (it is known as a domain name). Next you need to 'rent' some space on the internet (known as website hosting). Lastly you'll need a software package that will make it possible for you to put written text, images, videos etc onto your website. There are many website building programs available that make this whole procedure very easy.

3. Get Visitors To Your Store or Website

When your store or website is ready from step1 above (that is why step1 is very important to your business success) haven’t know those you want to sell (i.e your TARGET or potential customers) it time to get them to visit you. There are two main ways to do this. You can use free techniques (words of mouth, website traffic) or paid techniques (paid Advert paid website traffic). Both have their pros and cons and the most effective traffic tactic to use is a mixture of both.

4. Develop A Customer List or Customer Relationship

One of the major setback in business success is customer relationship, it's doubtful that your store or website visitors will want to buy anything from you on their first visit to your store or website. They may visit your store or website and never return. So you can obtain a visitor's contact number or email address with a special email capture form, you can remain contact with them via sms or email. Your sms or emails can keep them informed about your business and encourage them to return to your store or website.

As a new visitor to your new store or website you can offer them something of value for free in return for contact number or email address, they are more likely to give you their email address with ease.

5. Provide Value

The concept of providing value is just an advance course of building customer relationship, literarily is just by over delivering by providing more support and training in your business, in so doing you are sure of having customers who will come to know, like and trust you. Your prospective customers will then be more willing to buy from you and continue to be as loyal customers for many years.
Even though the market place is competitive, it allows average people like you and me to use it in the same way as big businesses do. A potential customer can only access one website at a time and, if you have the right elements in place, that store or website can easily be about your business. Here are the 5 key ingredients to setting up a successful business.

Politics / Mua'zu Blast Buhari Over Past Record by Kayen: 9:54am On Feb 15, 2015
THE National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu has responded to the assertion by the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd) not to be judged based on his past performance.

The party boss insisted in a statement issued in Abuja on Saturday that there was no other way someone seeking power could be assessed other than based on his past performance.

Buhari had recently claimed during an interview on Cable News Network (CNN) that it was unfair to judge him by his past record.

According to the statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Chief Tony Amadi, Alhaji Muazu maintained that unlike General Buhari, President Goodluck Jonathan was proud of his past record and is happy to be judged by it.

The PDP boss said: “They say we should not judge them on their past record, but how else can they be judged other than through the work they did in the past. The Jonathan administration is proud of its past record and is happy to be judged by it.

“Why will an opposition party that claims to be agent of change not be judged on its past record in government. What change can they produce without reference to their past record?

“As far as the economy of Nigeria is concerned today, the present administration of President Jonathan is running on a clear record of good performance and should be voted in for a second term.”

Mu’azu also asserted that Jonathan’s performance in the agricultural sector would give him the cutting edge to emerge victorious in next month’s presidential election, challenging the opposition to a debate on the sector.

The statement added: “Whether anyone likes it or not, it is the performance of the PDP in the economy that will give us the cutting edge to victory in the 2015 presidential, governorship and parliamentary elections next month.

“Nigeria didn’t just become the biggest economy in Africa by propaganda or fluke. It happened because of a deliberate plan by the Jonathan administration to bolster the economic standing of our country.

“I challenge the opposition to a debate on the economy; the very crucial indices for measurement of a successful government seeking re-election in most advanced democracies of the world.

“That our economy is rated above South Africa is not therefore a miracle, it was the target President Jonathan gave the economic team led by our Minister of Finance, Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and they achieved that objective in flying colours,” the statement read.

“It was the economic team that spearheaded the intensification of agriculture to the diversification of our political economy from oil to food and agricultural production on a large scale.

“This is why our country is now producing enough food to feed the nation, exporting the excess and earning foreign exchange. PDP controlled states have tapped into the federal government’s food programme resulting in dry season farming coupled with heavy rice production in states with natural advantages in food production. Government has also invested huge sums to prop APC states with similar advantages.

“It is the successful management of the Nigerian economy that encouraged investors to be pouring in from Europe, America and Asia, particularly China.”

Mu’azu appealed to the National Assembly to pass the Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB) because of the added boost it would give the economy.

He added: “Our opponents in this election have no clue on economic management. The APC has never told us how they will change a winning economic formula that is already on ground and has been acknowledged worldwide.”
