Hello, house. Hope we doing great. Unfortunately my mum died in the US and I have applied for a US visa to attend her funeral through the expedited means. The application was approved but no date has been released. I have also been denied twice. I just want to hear opinion of someone that have this similar experience and can they decide not to grant me regardless.

Please do we have anyone that has gone through this process before or someone that have some knowledge about this situation. I will appreciate your input.... Thanks...

Hello house, hope we are good. I want to apply for a visitors visa to UK. Am currently working with the state government with a pay of less dan 50k monthly. Am married with two kids. Hubby has his own personal company. My questions - Do I need to present anything related to my job. Since my Elder brother will be the one sponsoring me with my twin sister abroad. 2. Do I still need to present my statement of account. 3. What are the documents my sponsors need to present. 4. Can my twin sister abroad be my sole sponsor without posing any problem. 5. General advise on how to apply without being refused with little or no salary.

This week, We are exposing GEM's corrupt practices back-to-back for who chooses to know. Nigerian is their worst enemy, and the funders, the World Bank should be aware of this. No international organization or Federal body should contract GEM, BIGportal or PwC Nigeria any project because there's alarming and untold corruption within this body.

@⁨Arowosegbe Olumide⁩ and I just visited the GEM office at Old Secretariat, Area 1, Abuja.

We were directed to the grievance desk where we met with the officers in charge. We made them know we came to see them on behalf of 135 others that had gone through their program and had not heard from them. We llaid our complaints and made certain enquiries about what next. The following are their responses:

1. They admit their silence for about 9months as unprofessional. Things went wrong.

2. They confirmed that in a bid to resolve the issues, a Grievance desk was set up just last month and is open to take all complaints and enquiries from participants.

3. They also acknowledged that begining from this month's, some of us will begin to receive the status of our Business Plans. They are now getting back results from independent consultants handling the BP aspect.

4. They can only treat individual, not group information per time, hence, each participant need to fill the grievance form on their website. Here is the process: (follow this link provided below and fill the form): https://bigportal.org.ng/bigwebsite/grievanceredress

5. Let them know what your personal complaints are. (Be polite pls).

Let us know, should you have any other questions. Thanks and God bless you.

Complaints start from six months upwards grin Go and relax, you have no problem.

GEM programme is not living up to its expectation. It's total negligence after confirming how far I've gone to achieve my milestones through rigorous site supervision last month, still yet our second tranche could not be remitted to those of us that met it.

Let it be on record that growth and employment program in Nigeria is an avenue to frustrate entrepreneurs and destroy their zeal to create jobs.

[quote author=Davepal post=65077968]The coordinator of GEM programme should please help our plights. The delay in 2nd tranche has affect our businesses, It has hampered our major sales which we could not start due to limited fund, The second tranche is meant to cover other areas of operation or run a full operation that could help us generate more income to be able to pay our workers, and keep the business into continuous operation.

We were disappointed yesterday that we could not accept order to serve higher quantity and meet major customer's demand because of external fund to serve their needs. We turn down some orders because we cannot serve them even when we have the equipment to do so, but we can't because of fund to boost our service and business.

Some times we wondered if the GEM programme is meant to empower the beneficiaries for economical growth or to frustrate the beneficiary and mock the Nigerian economy.

How can a laudable program which meant to support Innovative SMEs withhold their second tranche for almost 2 years ? How do you want the business and startups to survive and grow ?

Keeping us waiting for too long without contacting us is discouraging, at least we need your communication to know what's going on. Even when GEM coordinators have tried in their duty but then we are helpless and really need the 2nd tranche to support and boost our businesses.

I understand your plight.

I have a baby but I want to go visit my twin sister alone without baby and hubby. Pls house wot are my chances dis tym cos I really want to get it rite.
