The recent pouring of rain in Abule Itoki, Ado Odo Local Government, Ogun State has left a tale of woes on the residents of virtually every part of the city with most parts submerged in flood leaving many homeless, while houses and vehicles were washed away by flood. Over 300 houses are affected and left abandoned, millions of properties destroyed.

The drainage channels need to be worked on as once it rains for over an hour the flog that follows is
overwhelming, from Bible School College to Itoki road was flooded up to Afolabi Lawal Street, Orija West, Itoki, Ogun State.

The residents complained about the Ibikunle Amosu government for abandoning them, they remembered how the governor promised them that the drainage will be fixed during his second time.

We hope the Ibikunle Amosu government will do something about it before torrential downpour.
