He only received help from his dad when it came to removing a chunk of wood from the engine block and in teaching him out to make use of a router to create the wheels. These local engineers started off with the idea of reversing the airflow from the breast pumps thus implying that air is being blown out of patients’ lungs. Brandi Gerstner said that breast pumps are ‘sanitize-able biomedical device[s]’ that have been approved by the Food and Drug Administration and have been tried and tested and are known to be reliable.

You can actually directly donate to their project using the email breastpumpvent@gmail.com. The group’s Facebook page says that they are only accepting Spectra breast pumps at the time being.

The team will still require FDA approval before their contraption can be used in hospitals. FDA has already issued an Emergency Use Authorization so that ‘positive pressure breathing devices modified for use as ventilators’ thus allowing for such ventilators to come from wherever that they can during the COVID-19 pandemic.

THE MYTH ABOUT FEMALE VIRGINITY -why most women won't bleed the first time they have sex.
There's a very common myth in South and Central Asia (Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan etc.) and Africa (Nigeria and many other nations ) that you can tell if a woman is a virgin, by whether or not she bleeds the first time she has sex. There is zero truth in this. Not all women bleed the first time they have sex, as I'll explain in this post. To understand why some women bleed and some don't, it's very important to understand what the hymen is. The hymen is a membrane that tends to cover part of the vaginal opening (it does not always block or cover the entire vagina, as some people mistakenly think). NOT ALL WOMEN HAVE A HYMEN. The hymen also differs from woman to woman - like all women have different heights and weights and features, all women also have different amounts and types of hymen. Some women have thick hymens, some have very thin hymens, and some women have NO hymens at all. Some women have larger hymens, some women naturally have a very little amount of hymen that covers only a small portion of their vaginal opening (and hence does not really get in the way, during first-time sex). In addition to this, the hymen wears away on its own as you grow up. For most women, the hymen wears away on its own with exercise, bicycling, horseback riding -it can wear off with pretty much any other physical activity, even dancing! - or from using tampons when menstruating. Especially if the hymen is very small or thin, most of it tends to wear away on its own as a girl grows up. If a woman is born WITHOUT a hymen, she won't bleed the first time she has sex. If a woman has a small or thin hymen, she might not bleed the first time she has sex. 3. You kill your ability to enjoy sex in future. Millions of women don't enjoy sex in marriage which leads to sexual frustration, adultery, lesbianism and feminism. If you are used to getting orgasm by yourself, you won't be able to get it from your husband. If you are used to objects in your private part, you won't have feelings for your husband's penis. You will always think of something harder, bigger, longer, larger and completely unrealistic! Women who complain their husbands' penis are too small didn't marry as virgins. They must have been promiscous as singles.
4. You will not have a good sex life as a man. You will experience pre-mature ejaculation and your wife won't enjoy you leading to acute sexual frustration in marriage. You need self control to fully enjoy sex and give your wife maximum sexual pleasure. A woman enjoys sex when the man can go on for at least 7 minutes before ejaculating. Because you are used to instant release from masturbation, you may not be able to go more than a minute before exploding leaving your wife completely unsatisfied and frustrated. She may close up, become frigid and stop having sex altogether which may lead to you having an affair, she having an affair or both of you having an affair. Self control before marriage helps you enjoy sex to the maximum. You are able to delay ejaculation, go on for a long time and have excellent orgasm while giving your wife pleasure too. 5. If you do not suffer premature ejaculation, you may have serious problem with delayed/ retarded ejaculation. A situation where you get erection for several hours without ejaculation or orgasm. I will begin this week’s edition of #TheAlternative with a generalisation, and I ask for the forgiveness of my readers in advance. You see, a lifetime of living in Nigeria has taught me that Nigerians emote rather than we reason.
This tendency to emote is the reason African parents will not invest millions on their children’s education, but will invest millions for their wedding and their children will not invest millions to cater for their aged parents, but will invest millions on their funeral.
U honestly believe that it European and Asian leaders attend an African wedding or funeral, they would stop lending sub Saharan Africa money, if they have a conscience. Africa’s problem is not money. It is misplaced priority. We look for PITY, but we like to PARTY
Our tendency to emote is also the reason why we approach religion with differently from other continents. Recently, a Nigerian church announced with glee that they had constructed the world’s biggest church building. To be honest, I was not really impressed, because the word mistakenly translated as church in the English translation of the New Testament is ἐκκλησίαν, (ekklēsia when using the English alphabets). The word ekklēsia actually means gathering. It does not mean a building. God is not impressed with buildings. That is why Christ said “where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." People, not buildings, attract God.
In fact, let me even go one step further and say that Africa only half pleases God when we build the world’s biggest churches in the world’s poverty continent. If we want to fully please God, we must also build the world’s most Godly abs honest congratulations and the world’s biggest businesses.
FAITH without WORKS is DEAD!‬ Christ’s disciples had businesses. Peter, James and John were fishermen. Matthew was a tax collector. Paul was a tent maker. Judas, who did not have a business, became a BETRAYER and a THIEF. So, say a big PRAYER, but be a bigger PLAYER in BUSINESS.

As a footballer, you earn money. You ought to invest it in preparation for retirement. It is not the duty of the NFF to look after footballers in their old age. It is called the Nigerian Football Federation, not the Nigerian Footballers Pension Society. The public should stop feeding such false expectations.
That is the same way I read about a late 90s pop star who died and the same Nigerians accused the industry of abandoning him. Excuse me? When that star was lavishing his earnings on a flashy lifestyle, why didn’t the public accuse the ‘industry’ of abandoning him? They were hailing him. Actions have consequences and you reap what you sow!
Many of the so called celebrities now posting pictures of their brand new cars and their First Class travels with their children and pets, will be broke in old age. Then emotional Nigerians will rush to social media to accuse the ‘industry’ of abandoning’ them. A nation of emotional people cannot progress like a nation of rational people.
A day is coming when their slay queen body will turn to a slay mama body. Roles will stop coming. Album sales will reduce. Younger footballers will be signed by your club. So invest for your future and don’t accuse the industry of abandoning you. If you don’t, it is you who abandoned your senses, and not the industry that abandoned you!
Our religious leaders need to teach their congregants and parishioners that God made man sufficient time stand and yet free to fall.
We, as Black Africans need to understand that contrary to what many Christian and Muslim leaders teach, we are not a product of fate, we are products of our choices. God had a destiny prepared for every human being born of a woman before HE sent them into this world and that destiny is that God gave you a head to decide where you want to go and 2 legs to take you there. It was not only Judas that satan tried to enter. He also tried to use Peter. The difference between Peter and Judas is that one elected to cooperate with satan, while the other chose to rebuke him. Their choices became their destiny.
We are poor in Africa because of our choices, and not because of the witch in the village. We made a choice to spend three times the amount we spend on books to buy real and artificial hair. What goes on our head is more important to us than what goes in it.
Africa will be rich only by our choices. Religion cannot make us rich. In fact, many of us mistake gullibility for spirituality. To believe that God wants you to prosper is spirituality. To believe that God will prosper you without any effort on your part is gullibility. Gullible faith is no faith. ‬
Scripture says “my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.”-Hosea 4:6 (NIV). That Scripture could as well have been tailor written for Africa. But thank God that, unlike humans, He does not identify a problem without advancing a solution.
Hosea 6:6 says “I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the KNOWLEDGE of God rather than burnt offerings.”
You see, we Africans focus on burnt offerings rather than knowledge acquisition. And until we make a course correction, we may find that development stays far, very, very, far from us.

China's three major state telecom operators rolled out 5G wireless technology Thursday, as the country races to narrow its technology gap with the US amid a bruising trade war.



China Mobile, the country's largest carrier, announced its 5G services were available in 50 cities -- including Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen -- with packages starting from 128 yuan ($18) a month.

Rivals China Telecom and China Unicom are also offering services at comparable prices in major cities, according to notices on their websites.

The ultra-fast mobile internet service -- which is 100 times faster than existing 4G networks -- allows consumers to download full-length films within seconds, or use apps with virtual reality.

The technology will also pave the way for driverless cars, further automation in factories, and allow users to remotely control appliances such as coffee makers and ovens via the internet.

China is expected to be a front-runner in the adoption of 5G services with over 170 million 5G subscribers by next year, according to estimates by China Telecom.

Almost every student believes that getting a four-year degree and going under debt during the process is a must if you want to land a high-paying job in companies such as Google, Netflix, and Apple. However, that is not always the case!

Barbara Humpton has also spoken against the idea that a four-year degree guarantees the career-readiness of a person. Humpton recently said, ‘All too often, job requisitions will say they require a four-year degree, when in fact there’s nothing about the job that truly requires a four-year degree — it merely helped our hiring managers sort of weed through the crowd and got a smaller qualified candidate group,’ Humpton was speaking at the White House during the first American Workforce Policy Advisory Board meeting.

Companies, including the likes of Google and Apple, are now focusing on hiring employees that possess the skills needed for getting tasks done, with or without a degree. LinkedIn has also determined that most of today’s hottest companies to work for do not ask their employees for a degree as a prerequisite for applying. By analyzing even further, LinkedIn was able to determine that certain positions are more likely to be filled by non-college graduates such as electronic technicians, mechanical designers, and marketing representatives.
Having said that, college degrees do tend to pay off. Workers that hold at least a bachelor’s degree were able to earn more than $932 median weekly earnings for all workers in 2018 as per a recent report that was published by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Tim Cook, while speaking at the White House panel, said, ‘Our company, as you know, was founded by a college drop-out. So we’ve never really thought that a college degree was the thing that you had to have to do well. We’ve always tried to expand our horizons.’

Some months ago, Mini-shops along this Road were destroyed by the Local government, Because according to them they are building a new standard road.
Months have come and gone and what they could only achieve was constructing a #miserable #looking #gutter..
Adding an increase to the sufferings of the masses that carry goods to the market on daily basis, displacing poor traders of their shops and mobile shops.
The local government shouldn't start what they know they can't finish. The Road was even manageable before the nonsense work came.

That is what he decided was best for his daughter, Xiaoyi, when she grew bored with kindergarten in 2002. He withdrew her and became her full-time teacher for the rest of her school career. It was a radical choice. In the West home schooling, once regarded as eccentric, has become more popular in recent decades. In China officials are wary. They say schools play a vital role in turning children into “builders of socialism”. But growing numbers of Chinese parents are rebelling.

It was not easy for Mr Yuan, a think-tanker turned businessman. Official permission is required for home schooling during the nine years of compulsory education, which usually spans the period between the ages of six and 15. It is given only in rare circumstances, such as when a child suffers from a medical condition with which schools cannot cope. As a precaution, Mr Yuan moved home several times to avoid attention. His tactics worked. Last year Xiaoyi graduated from university with a self-taught degree. Mr Yuan still teaches at home, though his dozen full-time students are from other families.
