Brother, skypicker have been labeled for poor agent service, infact log on to tripadvisor to see the terrible tins people wrote about them. i also saw ticket with den for 177k to Perth but since dis flight is my first international flight experience i neva wanted any story so i leave them for anoda day. I recommend Orbitz.com for u, dats where i bought my Perth ticket and its an American organisation and it cost me 307k naira and people highly recommended them from tripadvisor as the best travel agent, dats y i used den. it is not a false info. I was to use them before i book with Emirate.
Dear Kenneth,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. We were expecting feedback from IOM Accra.

Unfortunately we have been instructed to cease to providing tickets to students who are turning to IOM for reduced airfares.
Student beneficiaries must be “scholars” i.e. referred or sponsored by a governmental organization with which IOM has an agreement or understanding, such as British Council.

Kindly let me know if you meet the above criteria and send the proof.

Regards,
Onyinye

Guys be aware, if u are paying for flight ticket online, u are been charge at black market rate oooooo not official bank rate (for those charged in dollars). yesterday i form mugu think say i wise. i booked with Orbitz online and the fair was $927. calculating using 199 naira to a dollar officially it will amount to 183000 naira but instead i saw a debit of 307000 naira, dat is, i was charged at 331 naira to a dollar. I won maddddddd. when i called first bank the said the have noting to do with transaction using card dat it is strictly between me and the airline company so dat was y i was charged at Aboki rate.

Don't act in ignorance like me abeg. thou IOM was frustrating me and my blood been the hot for the ticket, so since thursday i have been in touch with IOM and the have been unable to secure a booking for me.

After you lodge your visa application:
Please do not contact the Visa and Immigration Section at the Australian High Commission in Pretoria if your visa application is still within standard processing times, unless you have an urgent or compassionate and compelling reason to do so. We process a large volume of visa applications every day, and responding to unnecessary visa queries causes delays in processing applications.

Email:

Email is our preferred method of contact, and all enquiries are responded to within 48 hours. Our email address is:

immigration.pretoria@dfat.gov.au.

You must include your full name and passport number (and VLN if applicable), type of visa application, and date and method of lodgement. Failure to include these details will result in a delay in responding to your query.

Australian privacy legislation prevents officers from disclosing information to anyone other than the visa applicant unless you have provided formal written authorisation.

Telephone:

Telephone is not the preferred method of contact with the Australian Immigration Office in Pretoria. Visa applicants calling this office experience long delays due to the high volume of calls. If you prefer not to wait, please use our email address.

Telephone hours are strictly between 8.30am and 11.30am (Pretoria time), Monday to Friday.

Unfortunately the Australian High Commission in Pretoria cannot assist with telephone queries if you have not yet lodged your visa application. If you wish to speak to someone about your visa application before lodging, please contact Teleperformance on +27 (0) 21 401 7500.

The telephone number for the Visa and Immigration Section at the Australian High Commission in Pretoria is +27 12 423 6060.

I will advice u to relate with ur agent on this issue to contact the sku or if u are running the offer by ur self contact ur sku to ask for extension either one week or two weeks. i am saying this because i applied on the 11th january and my orientation begins on the 22nd february while class begins 29th february so my agent will be contacting my sku for a week extension or two weeks to either miss the orientation and possibly a week of class. this she said the have been applying for those having delay in visa. so i will say, do that and hear ur sku reply and keep the faith alive, it could still come out before due date.
MASMEK2016:
Congratulation to all those who have received their grant and for those expecting we will all get our good news very soon.

I submitted my application on 25th of January,2016,my resumption date is 15th Feb,2016.I am concerned with Delay from Pretoria in the last two

months.

I want gurus in the house to share their experience on this and if possible advice me on what to do.

i fell for u triggerman. i think in my opinion u leave Australia application for now cus what ever application u lodge now be it TAFE or MSc ur application will be thoroughly treated to find comparison between the two info. i think u should try another country close to Australia like Newziland or Singapore so that ur moving to Australia in future would be less stressful.
bhanjjie:
Bro, I'm not sure it will be reasonable to declare your BSc all of a sudden. In fact, they might compare whatever new application you submit with your old files. Why not try to apply to another country and start afresh bro? Just saying...

Brother the truth is those teleperformance guys no know anything compare to info guys have here. i was chocked the day i went there. certain questions i already know the answer to i asked them again out of curiosity but brother the fun-bu and believe this are question whose answers are on DIBP site. the truth is i think Trigger is right on the 30 days count and according to that u are suppose to receive ur grant on the 8th January 2016, but remember the could be uncertainty like case officer who is not always on sit or so. but i blive by next week u will receive a big email.
alcreas:
Honestly, I don't understand dis 30days countdown or 3weeks count down as well for SVP. I applied on the 27th of Nov 2015, 573 under SVP, but till date I haven't heard anything from Pretoria. I sent them an email a week ago cos the wait was just something else, but I haven't gotten any reply either. So out of curiosity I emailed Teleperformance where I lodged my visa application, stating to know the delay and this was their reply....."SVP/streamlined visa's are done online, not at the application centre. If you have lodged a paper application, the processing time is up to three months. Therefore you are still within the processing time, there is no delay. You should get feedback on the outcome of your application by the 27/1/2016 if you have applied on the 27/11/2015, which is three months".
So my question is this, are all SVP done online? And those of us that lodged paper application, does it mean ours would take longer duration, even if we are under the SVP as well?

no july intake for my course only February. Hmmm i dont think i will defer again let me just watch and see., thou i will start writing the sku immediately cus it happen to my sister in October 2015 wen she was going to Germany and the sku granted her a week extension so she missed orientation. but let me push and c. thanks
Triggeredsam:

(Speaking In a proff. Voice) Base on analysis with previous information at hand it looks like you will apply for extension instead of defer, cos July na ssvp... We never know the strategy wee go dey on ground who know tomorrow.. grin grin

Thanks. from the counting, i applied on the 11th January 2016 so 30 working days is going to be 22nd of February 2016 which is the date my Orientation starts at Curtin University dat means arriving Australia will be by 25th to 26th February and Orientation is COMPULSORY. what do u advice i do? thou i front-loaded my medicals over 3 weeks before applying & all documents dully meet, do u think this things could add any speed up?
Triggeredsam:

Working days Monday to Friday excluding holidays 25 and 1 January, count babahusa grant date, count Mikey, count the former visa grant dates then you will know that you gave your self hpb.. cheesy grin grin grin, chetaray and pristine 7th-monday, 8th Tuesday and 11th Friday so make we relax

please this 30 days is it including saturday and sunday or just working days (i.e monday to friday)?
Triggeredsam:

Count 30 working days from the day you applied... That's when you will get your visa... Check others that got there's it was exactly 29-30days so relax your visa is either Monday or Wednesday. Just like mine grin

Your documents were sent to Pretoria. The Regional Office for Lagos and Abuja is Kenya. If you check the document properly, you will find Lagos underneath the Kenya.

That does not mean your docs went to Kenya. The database they are using for operation is from under Nairobi Jurisdiction. For Example, an Army Brigade Headquarters in Benin Covers for 5 Divisions. Police Zone 5 covers 5 States Police HQ, where 5 Commissioners reports to the AIG.

I happened to be the AIG in Nairobi grin.

Nor worry joor. Your docs will get to Pretoo b4 the end of the week.

Good morning house I've been refused an Australian visa thrice so I met this man he works with the Canadian embassy in Abuja like he said he deals with Canadian, USA and Australian work visa. Anyway we talk about getting an Australian work visa, I've been reading about it but the way he explained to me i'm not convinced. He said I will pay him when the visa comes out from Pretoria, that I can verify it at the airport, call the embassy in Pretoria or via VEVO before paying him. All he said he needs to a start is my passport bio data page, two white background passport photographs, then I will go to Australian embassy in Abuja for my biometric before sending. I asked him what about when I'm in Australia what would happen he said they have officials there at the airport that no problem, I asked about PR he said he will link me with someone there that will put me through from Pretoria( I said to myself hmmmm). I'm very confused cause all what he's saying aren't really with what I've been reading online concerning all classes of Australian work visa. Please help oooo cause I don't want to get in there and have problem. Waiting to hear from good and experience people here. Thanks y'all

If ur school does SVP (Streamline visa processing) then for sure u will make it provided bank payment don't add more than a week to debit ur account because of this CBN policy. cus it took me 3 solid weeks to pay with first bank. secondly if ur school does SVP ur visa will take 3 weeks to be out but if the do not then it is 3 month cus u will be assess as assessment level 3.
