You're expecting too much from that baby at that tender age.
Rome was not built in a day.
At 3, you shouldn't be worried about this, it's not an issue.
Can he recite rhymes, poems, etc properly?
Can he answer simple questions about himself?

yes a little like what's your name.
he can sing rain rain very well

Family / My 3 Years Old Son Cant Read Nor Write, Help Pls by kenny1111: 5:00pm On Oct 22, 2020
Good afternoon everyone,

please I need advice from all parents and Educators and parents on Nairanland. today I just realized my 3years old son cant even read Letters A to F talk less of A to Z but can read Figure 1 to 10, I am seriously worried.

I don't stay at home except for weekends as I am working outside my state, but due to the curfew I find my way back home yesterday so I was able to discover this problem in the early hours of today.

I know the mother is trying cos I have seen different live videos where she was teaching him and working on his assignment, most times I pity the boy so much because of the beating from his mum alone makes me sick but I can't really complain since I know is for his own good and I know how stressful it is for a mother with 2 kids to manage her time and all that....

I called his teacher immediately and she told me my son will be going to Nursery class when the present term is over due to his age, sadly she didn't say things I expect to hear from her so I told her I will visit the school once the curfew is over, I need explanation, is private school that bad these days ? my son can't even write 2 and 3
I have bought Video CD, bought many play book materials containing letters and figures displayed boldly, I bought counting and so on when he was 2 years so i expect a better result by now.

pls sir and ma, I need help on how to guide this boy to learn better, what should I do and how should I go about it.

Note: any time I am home, I always go through his books, assignments and read his school rhymes for him.
pls Help

Technology Market / Re: Is NIPOST Deliberately Withholding Phones Ordered From Aliexpress? by kenny1111: 6:43am On Sep 21, 2020
let me drop my thought, obviously the delay might be caused by covid19 but definitely not just that.
do you guys know some of these packages are usually been held but Customs, DSS and NDLEA where they are probably been stolen and whisk away?
well, I paid almost 80,000 as customs fee to get few iphones a friend sent down from USA to his relative via fedex recently and that apart from the normal shipping fee which wass already paid to FEDEX from yankee oo, d money wasn't paid to individual but was paid to FEDEx account here in nigeria who later generated d customs receipt of payment for me and i had to call NDLEA and DSS to provide certain information before it was released,
all these are recent development and regulations to generation more money for the government and security checks, u guys are suppose to have a follow up call by this agency once the goods land in naija but trust my naija officers , na goat meat they do with some of this valuables.....I might be very wrong, i just spoke from experience

Romance / Re: Girls Who Sleep With Married Men by kenny1111: 3:18pm On Apr 22, 2020
Rapmoney:
I have a former school mate. We met way back in the university. No doubt, she was an intelligent girl then and was always shinning in her department. One particular issue she had and which I also detested was her fondness for sleeping with married men/people's husbands. I really didn't know what she would be looking for since her parents provided most of the things she needed in school. She wasn't from a poor home, neither were her parents super rich but they were very comfortable and could give her what she needed. I really didn't like advising people personally, especially when they are so much engrossed in an activity. You could easily be seen as a killjoy or fun-destroyer. Though, I did couple of times but the attempts were like pouring water in a basket. Today, she would be in Awka with Engineer Julius, tomorrow, it would be in Asaba with Chief Akpofure. No value for people's matrimonial territory! No retreat, no surrender.

Well, she got married in 2010 and it was all rosy. Few years into the marriage and it was something else. No day would pass without her posting criptic lines on Facebook about cheating husbands and how 'God' would see her through. I didn't need a babalawo to tell me what has been going on. Even a dumb primary 3 pupil in a local village school would be able to tell what has been happening. I later confirmed this from another former schoolmate who worked with her in Lagos. Her past has come back to hunt her.

In as much as I sympathize with her, it's pertinent to note that some activities are enjoyable until things start going south. Nemesis doesn't forget. You can't sleep with people's husbands as a spinster and expect yours not to be sugar daddy to some young girls out there. Wetin dey go around, still dey come around. Wetin happen for fowl house, go still happen for goat house.

If you are a young woman, get focused and leave other women's husbands alone. There's a reason why they call it MARRIAGE. It's a sacred matrimony whether it's conducted in a church, mosque, shrine, court, private house or even village square. It's not a visa to success. Person wey bring wood wey ants full, nor need to complain when lizards start to visit am for house. Many young women will tell you that they are being disturbed by married men. The truth is that such girls are the ones who give married men the cushioned platform to do that. I'm very sure he's not going to beat you if you don't give him your contact details.

Finally, as a young man, beware of girls who constantly tell you that they don't do married men even when such information is not relevant to you. It's mostly the other way round; a clear conscience fears no accusation.

Rapmoney:

Sure, I understand your point of view but I focused on sleeping with married men because I think it carries a matrimonial curse or nemesis.

Same thing for a young man who sleeps with married women because he wants financial or material gratification. Nature cannot be mocked; there's a force of agreement existing when two people come together as husband and wife.

welldone Op,
but what about married men who sleep with single ladies ? this has been in going Before u and I were born, when is there Karma coming?
the truth is topic is bigger than what u think u can write in few lines

why are ladies/women always at the receiving? 60% of married men cheat, u can argue this anyway but b4 u do check my profile to know how long I have been on Nairaland probably it will give u idea of what I have experienced in life so far.

Most of these married men are the ones who usually approach these girls. I am not supporting the immoral behavior but for me your write up isn't enough to do justice to the subject matter.

its broader than u understand.

SamMilla1:
One big challenge is payment method which I have offered a lot of help for people buying with RMB since China is the biggest market at the moment.

The truth is that due to the exchange rate, things are generally more expensive on Alibaba and Express, Far cheaper on Taobao and 1688.
However, Tao and 1688 were created for locals to buy and sell to foreigners on Alibaba. But with help, you can still buy from there.

I am advising the youths to go into small importation business during this time of recession. It will help them quit channeling all their energy on Blaming Buhari.
The truth is that Nigeria is in a mess. APC just don't want to be honest with the truth.

Yoi can create a free shop on Konga and Jumia, start with something as small as phone batteries.

A boy sent me 15k to buy few phone batteries for him in China, that was his starting capital. Because of his dedication to the small project, I had to leave office and go to the battery Market while it was raining.
Now he is sending 25k and he swore he did not add a kobo outside the initial 15k.

Because of his determination, I will ship his batteries from China for free until he gets to 100k.
So focus more on business section if you are still young, don't go wasting your time with Fashola and Dasuki craps, Ipob, Afonja hatreds, Nothing you say here changes anything if you are nobody.

I rarely make comments, but I think I have something to say on ds. @ OP, in as much as we all knw half bread is better than just none u still need to project your self in to d future just as u have righly done b4 putin up your plight here.

let me share abit of my experience so Far, I graduated wit second class upper in Mathematics in 2010 & rounded up Nysc in mid 2013. I'v bin an ACCA student since 2011 due to my passion to be in corporate world, to be a profesional and my love 4 arithmetics. iv gt few other certificate to my Cv ranging from ICT to NIM which average nigerian corpers enrol in to during d service yr.

To cut d long story short i wrote my last ACCA F5 exams in 2013 diet, i did put a stop to it cos i realised im putin more than i can get in yrs to come and is taking a big toll on a poor guy like me.

I sat myself down and looked in to wht I think im Gud at, I found nothing other than playing a managerial role, God** yes it sounds so strange bt dts seems to be d only strenght in me, I decided to stop any form academic pursuit so as to phantom my positions very well.

A barber shop was born 2months after, did I say I was in to seling anything ranging from bra, panties, shoes...e.t.c during my universities days and even during service year. I opened d shop
4 biznes on d 31st of December 2013, in d shope i have a big shelve where i sel mainly footwears. @ OP i swear in mid 2015 I bought my first car of over half a million in mid 2015, obtained my M.sc form in late 2015 bt couldn't start due to transcript ish and will soon secure a land @ d expense of msc since I was denied dou will surely reapply later ds year. I dont do another thin apart 4rm bin d manager of d shop

the bottom line of story is dt, I had teaching as an option wen I finished service as well bt I didnt go 4 it cos I knew wht it involved, im a teacher by profesion as had B.ed in math. im sure it will exhaust me in less than 2yrs and I will b lookin so old wit no futur plans and movin on might be hard. im not discretin teaching or belittling it , do it if is you are passionate abt it or manage it while u think 2 save to start something smal or kip applying 4 jobs.

least I 4gt, till ds day I dont knw how to barb or else u want to skin your head lol, all I do is to apply wht I knw best** I manage d busines holistically* I manage more than 6 grown ass men excluding customers. I employ 2 stylists dt I pay on monthly basis and abt 4 apprehentices* in 2016 I reduced my stylist 2 just 1 as 2 of d apprentices are now skilful enough to handle clipper. I have a lil baby corporate environment I always wish 4 as a strow in 2 just d 6 to 7ceilings shop wil prove ds(lol)...friends cal me CEO sey me na an employer of labour bt d truth is I confidently apply 4 jobs online myself as my managerial signatures are already on d biznes so it gvs me ample of tym to tripple task. Ds days I hardly spend 2 to 3hrs in d shop in day as im just thinkin of diversifyin.......lol

@op, I hope my contributns are coherent wit your plight, im only tryin 2 encourage u 2 4low your heart and do wht u enjoy doing most. permits my typos as im not a gud writer bt a dy/dx guy and na phone I dey type wit sef

Note: every endeavour is challenging and aint easy bt wit prayers and determination all tins are possible.

I will try and open ds up viz-aviz d pros and cons then drop it in job section, hopefully it wil b helpful 2 some1 out dr.

hmmmmm, so I truly wrote all ds?

well, as petty as your plight might sound, to me d gravity can't be overlooked. is ds just her shortcomin? if yes pls stop d thought of divorce, im sure with your kinda mentality u cnt handle divorce at all, u av no idea wht d next wife is gonna be like, glad u didnt mention she's presently cheating on u or evercheated...im sorry to say ds all men detest deceit of wht ever colour bt then u going 2ru Facebook 2 confirm d existence of 'EX' is a pointer 2d fact dt uv always hav trust issues with her prior 2 getin married, pls I will be very sorry to tell u to grow up abit more, marriage is not 4kids bro, kids not just by Age......Im not married dou bt then u 2row d thread open.
lastly, overlook ds mind boggling ish and see how mentally grown u will be from within, infact, is gonna make u feel more prepared for d journey ahead. ....... my 3rd or 4th comment on NL 4 over 6yrs ago........I detest divorce as much as deceit bt I prefer d later.....@OP, all d best.....
