Foreign Affairs / Re: Nancy Pelosi Gets 'Enough Testimony' To Remove Trump From Office by KennyGO(f): 12:25pm On Jan 14, 2020
Democrats are simply afraid of Trump getting re-elected. Ever since he became 45th POTUS, dems have not woken up from their slumber. Trump will be acquitted. Pelosi is serving the interest of dems, not Americans. Check the facts and figures, Trump admin has really made America great. Sentiments and selfishness wouldn't let dems acknowledege that...all becsuse, amongst msny other reasons, Trump came as a first timer into American politics to destailizes bad establishments and cult politics.

Celebrities / Re: Marlians Cult: The Mother Should Be Blamed For Poor Upbringing, Not Naira Marley by KennyGO(f): 11:58am On Jan 14, 2020
redsun:

Nigeria is an immoral and irrational society and it's been so since the so-called independence. The difference now is that the so-called youths are rebelling against the old ways with a new wave of ignorance.

The youths are the reflection of the elders. You cant plant cocoyam the expectations of getting yam in harvest.

You're right!

As far as Nigerian culture (esp. Yoruba) is concerned, parenting a child is a 'community-sponsored project.' Yet the parents play a primary, then we have relatives, neighbours, teachers, peers, and the society at large.

I've come to discover that the society and the internet are fast taking over from parents. Check the theme of the movies and music you allow in your home. Dirty contents. We just assume those things are mere entertainments, but they go a long way to influence the mind of our chilldren. Once they grow with such contents, they might find such in reality in their lives.

Let all parents who still have little kids kick out dirty entertainments from their homes

Foreign Affairs / Re: Five Countries Meet To Decide Action Against Iran by KennyGO(f): 11:41am On Jan 14, 2020
The US-Iran drama is not funny. A deadly mistake that made the loyal citizens, who had earlier cried that US is an enemy, are now protesting against the government, saying, "US is not our enemy!"

This regime, like that of Saddam, will one day crash. Iranians seem to be having their eyes open to reality.

Let's see what happens next, but I strongly believe no WW3 is on the way. Forget it.

Well, Kigali is far better than Kenya, and I think it could be Africa's centre of commerce in the nearest future.
