With Resident Permit, you have freedom of choice for jobs, health insurance, can travel in and out of UAE easily, can get Visa to developed economies after about six months which is easier compare with rigorous process from Nigeria. If u really want advice from married men, I will advice u to marry when u are ready psychologically, emotionally, mentally and otherwise. Financially u might be ready but don't let anyone or anything push u into it especially when u think u ain't ready to take dat huge step. Please I need help. I was in UAE from 2015 to 2017 on employment Visa. I return to Nigeria in 2017 but I kept communication with my Boss (Emirati.) In January 2019 this year, he asked me on whatsapp if I will like to work for him again which I accepted. I sent him my passport and he has processed my employment Visa. I received my contract and signed it few days ago (which excluded my offer letter.). Of course everything was done free of charge without requesting for a penny. But my concern is that I was expecting he would include my offer letter which will state my salary but I only received contract form to sign. Though I was collecting 1500 dirams without Certificate in my last employment with him. But this time he requested for my
Attested degree and ssce Certificate for my new position which according to him will be higher that my previous position. Am expecting the Visa in some days time. according to him it will take less than 6 days. Please how can I find it how much salary he has fill for me in the contract. I don't want to ask him since he told me that the salary will be better than what I was earning. Please someone should help me on how I can find the details of the contract to know my salary. This man is really nice and I had wonderful experience working for him for 2 years.

Surely there is no waste in acquiring some professional certificate especially NEBOSH cos it's acceptable throughout d globe and u can easily land a safety job here in UAE if u gat one but d only problem we are facing here is Nationality problem. Though there are companies that put potential before Nationality and if u prove to know ur onions, u are good to go with the help of Jehovah. As per Project Management, doesn't know much and again gonna prefer someone with UAE or GCC experience. As a said earlier, no professional certificate is a waste.

Why don't u help him secure a job. Instead of struggling with his "peanut business" as y said rather tell him that u are thinking of helping him with a job that can pay his bills and gat some savings.

I know this can be tough on u but if u are bless to such extent, support his business with some amount of money and tell him to manage it judiciously. Let him know if he squander it, that's d-end.
