Hello, Good evening. Please for experts in this field and those who know about it... What type of sewing machine is best for sewing leather (or sewing leather for making bags)? And the cost? Thanks. I'd really appreciate the information |
NYSC / Nysc: A Summary. by kiksi(f): 6:17pm On Dec 27, 2019 |
Overtime, I have heard people speak concerning the National Youth Service Corps, a scheme established in 1973 by the Gowon led administration to foster National Integration and Unity. Different opinions and counter opinions have sprung forth as to whether the scheme should continue or should be stopped. For me, I am Pro NYSC and although, I feel it has move a bit off course from it's set agenda, it should be left alone to live. In a bid to ensure it's continuous survival, I feel it shouldn't be made compulsory anymore but voluntary instead of completely shutting it down. Let stakeholders, employers and youths specifically, decided they are interested in it and it's what they need to thrive. The NYSC is a good platform that should be explored fully for growth and personally development through it's on Camp training such as SAED(which continues after), Parades, Man-O-War Drills, Interplatoon competitions etc. Post Camp activities like the CDS and PPA duties are not excluded. Kindly click on the link to read and please, comment and share. https://honeydropsdotblog./2019/12/20/nysc-orientation-camp-brouhaha/ https://honeydropsdotblog./2019/12/20/nysc-pre-camp-jitters/ https://honeydropsdotblog./2019/12/20/nysc-post-camp-struggles/ 1 Like

falcon01: This generalised conclusion doesn't hold ground left to me. A lot of Nigerian graduates or students will perform on the same scale and even do better than their foreign counter parts. Except you are not Nigerian, you fall in the category you just created. Let's stop this inferiority complex thing..... |

Poems For Review / If Money Could Buy Love. by kiksi(f): 4:06pm On Aug 06, 2019 |
Good day. I'm not much of a poet but I came up with this. I'd also love for a review, critic/criticisms as well. Would love to learn the ropes. Thanks so much If money could buy love, I still won’t have it, Because I’m broke. If money could buy love, I still won’t have it, Because I’d be oppressed by those who have it. If money could buy love, I still won’t have it, Because I don’t know where it is sold, Because I don’t trust my bargaining power, Because I don’t know if I have enough. If money could buy love, I still won’t have it, Because the queue is so long, Because it’d be sold out before it’s my turn, Because I wonder if it would even get to my turn. If money could by love, I still won’t have it, Because my currency won’t be accepted, Because my money isn’t crisp enough, Because it won’t be fresh from the mint. If money could by love, I still won’t have it, Because there won’t be change. If money could buy love, I still won’t have it, Because I don’t know how many units would be sold. If money could buy love, I still won’t have it, Because I’d be robbed of both my money and love. If money could buy love, I still won’t have it, Because I could be sold the fake. If money could buy love, I just may have it because I would give all I have to those who need and have nothing to trade with. I’d be poor and alone and in peace. While I await the one who wouldn’t spend money but shower me with the currency of LOVE…. 2 Likes |
