kimanna: Leadership : it may seem sudden that you assumed this position without proper school management training, truth is old hands have wealth of experience, try to be diplomatic with them. Remember command respect not ask for it. You really are asking with irredeemable mistakes. People management Diplomacy: approach each issue diplomatically. Go Digital Things should be done digitally. Learn from old hands, keep learning.
I would reiterate this Leadership People management Diplomacy Go Digital Learn,Unlearn, Relearn. Take a cue from GIGM, ...., as well as other well reformed family business enterprise. If your school seems like the pre-amalgamated Nigeria you can go for the Divide and rule strategy. I believe in A/B testing but the former have worked for me. Peace |

You still said nothing.
WHAT EXACTLY SHOULD HE BE DIPLOMATIC ABOUT? DISOBEDIENCE FROM A SECURITY STAFF? You just didn't understand, read to comprehend this time slowly. I gave him a general overview of what to do most especially with his direct employees, I don't support insubordination but there are professional ways to handle such. The security outfit could be changed as he wishes as it borders on security and has nothing to do with the school directly but sacking teachers indiscriminately is not wise. Op send a DM to me if you take luminozz advise get ready to keep sacking . Diplomacy should be employed on all levels of leadership, bottom to top or top to bottom. Get it straight bro @luminozzz |

Wait, you mean per question is 25 marks? Dressing /appearance 10, field related question 25, interpersonal /management situational question 25, safety ??, leadership situational question??, CV ??. ?? Question mark goes for ones I m not sure of. In total it s 100%. Every panel member scores. |

What question did your panel chairman ask you? Whatever he asked is 25 marks. I implore all hopefuls to pray. It s favour that supersedes all reasonable explanations /statement (those are statements not theories). I m amazed nobody talked about the fifth man on the panel that was silent but very observant. In my opinion he s either an NNPC HR staff or a consultant PS He had his score too. They all scored individually. |

NigelCundy: There was no question from my CV.
Of course yes. Even I. It wasn't necessary a question for me too. Just that they looked at it, graded and asked me to reconfirm a small typo which I corrected. This they did after I have left o as they called me back. |

nevergiveup1: APL will most likely happen before Aug. 13, considering that Aug 12 -13 will be a public holiday for Sallah/Eid-Kabir. So it's either first week of August (4th - 9th Aug), or after the public holiday from 19th August. I didn't comment after my interview, but my experience is such that the Panel tend to ask difficult questions if you have very high score (>=90%) in your CBT, and you are an EH. The lady that ushered me in knew my CBT Score, and they already discussed it before the USher-in to face Panel. So, on that note, CBT score may likely be aggregated with your interview score (confidence, communication, precision in answering, dressing, ect). It was the easiest interview I have had in my career life. Okay ummm, best luck to everyone who are expecting. For me, I have had 2 other interviews with International Oil/Gas/Energy governance sectors after my NNPC interview, and it looks like I will not take NNPC offer even though I am highly likely to make it as an EH (SS1 to be precise). Sorry if I don't respond to questions that may follow this. I wish you all the very best.
Would love to connect with you.i had similar experience.my panel chairman kept bombarding me with questions.it was strange because I applied for GT position and people of similar position were asked few questions.for those asking how we were graded this is my take dressing/appearance10,ability to answer field related questions 25,interpersonal situational question 25,safety ??,leadership situational question??,CV ??. Yes CV had score.i was called back to be asked a question on my cv and corrected. @c12112 would love to connect @mosgoon would love to connect though I sent an earlier pm which you didn't reply |
