Pay your title because your heart is convinced and not what anyone tells you.

So in his indebtedness, do you recommend he pays the tithes, in case he is convinced? Say he was your father and you need your dad to pay for household bills etc...and he had that small amount to do so, would you recommend he pays his tithe with the money?

Hahaha you are very funny. No matter how I try to put it, you will still not understand. Compare this world and that of 2000+ years ago and see things for yourself. Even a kid will understand that many things has changed and keep changing. That's not an issue at all.
Daniel 12:4 is a prophecy to be fulfilled at endtime whether you believe it or not you will see it with your eyes.

The Creator works with time, that's why the world is the way it is. He only choose to make things clear in His time. He gave us time which is the time of the end. His son also gave us signs which are happening now. He gave Daniel a time for the book to be unsealed. The same time was also given on the book of Revelations. If you understand biblical timing, calculate the time the abomination was set up -Daniel 12:11 which was during the time the Messiah came and was murdered which made them set up an abominable thing, till now and you will see we are close and in the times things will be made clear to all. The creator works and do things according to His own time.

If you can't understand this simple things, let it be the way you understand.

If you admit things has always changed with time, why do you think these are the signs of end time? The prophesy makes no sense. Everything stated in the prophesy was already happening before the prophesy was made. It's like me saying "There will be wars in the coming years". That is not a prophesy, that is a logical statement deduced from experience and history of humankind.
Also i don't want to hear any calculation from any religious person again....you guys have always had it wrong, this won't be any different.

You don't even know how old the world is and when corrected by the expects you keep closing your ears and saying "lalala" so forgive me if i don't take your numbers to heart.

One more time Gentleman. An omnipotent Being is beyond time. That being doesn't see time. There is no day and night, Monday to Sunday for that being. The moment you said that you showed that you don't know exactly what is means to be an omnipotent being. Unless you will claim that Yahweh is not an omnipotent being.

Please be reasonable here

You are very wrong and you know that too. Can you compare that era with the one we are in now? I don't need to say much on that cos it's already explained up there and very glaring to anyone with wisdom. Our Creator works with TIME. I leave you the way you understand it.

Guy, listen to yourself, same way you cannot compare the biblical time to the one before it. Tech will always improve with time. That is how things will be and will always be. Unless you are telling me things were the same from the beginning till the prophesy was made. Irony that you should imply that Im not wise lol.

And seriously, did you just say that an omnipotent being is bound by time? You keep proving you have no idea what you speak of. Let me leave you to enjoy your self
Religion / Re: GOD Is Speaking To The Earth Through Signs( Pics) by kimco(m): 11:33pm On May 12, 2021

They are signs of endtime not that The Most High God is speaking thru them. One of them is the increase of knowledge with a device that runs to and fro(Wifi) in a handheld device(phones). This is true cos with just a phone and internet you can search to learn anything you wish online without going to any school. Even children are wiser these days and can operate phones -Daniel 12:4.

The main point in Daniel 12:4 is unleashing of a sealed book at endtime which is now that knowledge has increased. This book will revealed the truth of how everything happened since creation. What you all know and follow today in ALL your Churches is not up to half truth and full of errors. So none of you know the truth or the true salvation including all your pastors and other religions

The Messiah comes with salvation, he is sun/son of righteousness that heal and save. He will purify the sons of Levi and everyone (Malachi 3:1-7; 4:1-end). He will first return to his TEMPLE not any Church and stand as a high priest to teach and purify the people. He will also send Elijah to turn the peoples heart to children(true repentance and humility). Where is Elijah? He is supposed to be here now cos the Messiah is about to show. You will not know cos He is not in any of your churches. Same way the Messiah will return and many of you will see him as the devil cos he will not come to your churches but his temple and to his PEOPLE first. You all will not understand till your eyes will be opened to see that there is someone decieving you all.

All these have to happen first cos the world will be decieved and full of corruption before he comes(Rev 12:9) The devil will decieve the whole world except a certain few. And when He comes, will be the salvation of the world that anyone who looks up to him will be saved like Moses lifted the serpent in the Wilderness. Now, there will be no need for RESTORATION if there is no error in all you do in your religions since the begining. The true Messiah taught no one religion but to live righteously and we have a spirit since creation and before any of your religions to connects us to the Creator and teach us to stay away from evil.

Even before this prophesy in the bible, before those who wrote the bible were even conceived, knowledge grew and grew and grew. There were no paper to write on, and mo ink to write with. But in their time, that knowledge was there. Why didnt the end time happen there? The truth is we will always discover better ways of doing things. Knowledge will abound and be easily assess. Such is the way of mankind, we grow, we evolve, adapt. Only non living things stay stagnant. So sir what you quoted is not a prophesy, its common sense

Ihedinobi3:

Regarding the insult matter, I'm sorry to hear that. Wherever emotionally charged subjects are discussed, that is often a risk. I try to be clinical in my approach to these discussions myself so that I can avoid negative emotions from myself and others. That is why I am no longer as visible here as I used to be.

Regarding your question, this is something I found on the definition of a defense attorney's job:

The following tasks are characteristic of a criminal lawyer’s occupation:

Interviewing witnesses
Performing legal research
Creating exhibits for demonstrations in court
Accruing additional evidence in support of their case or for arguments against the prosecution’s charges
Examining the crime scene
Gathering expert witnesses to testify in court

That is, in order to prove that a client is not guilty, the US defense attorney actually does the work of building his own case including counterarguments and witness testimonies to show that the accusation made against his client either has no merit or at least is doubtful to some degree.

This example is only to illustrate a principle. The idea that you have no responsibility to make a case if you are only doubting a claim is completely false. It is a cop-out created by atheists to avoid doing the hard work of thinking about their position. Everybody has a reason for doubting whatever they doubt. The question for the atheist is what makes their doubt reasonable.

The issue of evidence is easy enough to solve...if the atheist is actually willing to be reasonable about it. But is he? In my experience and as a matter of principle, the atheist is not.

That is why the question of evidence remains for the atheist.

In short, the atheist has a responsibility to make a case for his doubt, even if "there is no God" is this so-called null hypothesis (not that I see how it is).

Ihe....the criminal lawyer's job is quite a lot depending on the context.

1. If the client pleads guilty, his work changes.

2. If the client pleads innocent his work changes

3. If the client pleads innocent but all evidence (which he is privy to) points to him being guilty, his works changes

4. If the client pleads innocent and the evidence against him/her seems weak...his work changes.

5. But in all cases the criminal lawyer's job is just one....establish reasonable doubt (or plead for a lesser punishment, in fewer circumstances) That's the whole point....

Whether you agree with it or not, the null hypothesis remains "God does not exist"
In order to move past that very first hypothesis, one is required to provide proof of otherwise. God exist is an established truth, not a fact. In order for you to make an established truth into a fact, you must first provide proof of it....

Example 1 + 1 = 2 is fact, anyone who claims otherwise is expected provide evidence.

Women are the weaker sex is an established truth, anyone can query that claim without needing to providing evidence to the contrary. The one making the initial claim is expected to establish that fact... Then anyone who questions it will have to provide his/her evidence.

Facts != Truth

Null hypo still remains "God does not exist"

Hi there.

Been a minute. Still doing anime and manga? Boruto hasn't been that interesting...or I'm just not that interested anymore in anime. Hard to be sure since I've done several different anime since, but Boruto was just hard to watch. Gave up on manga because I found it too unsatisfying. No color and no moving images; unpleasant combination for me. I would prefer to read a novel in that case.

About the null hypothesis, I'm not sure what you mean to say. How does the concept apply here?

However, if I am understanding you correctly, I would ask whether you believe that US defense attorneys ought to do nothing in court except demand that the state prove its case against their clients. I think you know that that is not what happens.

I may be understanding you wrong, so feel free to correct me.

As for insulting you, I don't think that comment is warranted at all. Even if you don't remember me, you have little reason here to think that I might or would. I rarely engage atheists on this platform anymore. When I do, the conversations are typically extremely brief. The one I have been having with your cohort is an outlier. My engagement with the thread would have ended with my first post, but I have run into him a few times and his arguments seem to have little self-reflection in them. That is why I decided to push him a bit. It hasn't worked, so I have stopped. The "pushing" too has not been insulting him per se either. It has been mockery of his vaunted intelligence in order to get him to actually think about the things that he says.

I have seen you around here several times too and not engaged you until now. So, you have not experienced any insolence from me. As I said, unless my memory is failing me right now, I didn't insult you back on the Naruto thread years ago either.

So I would urge you to avoid making such comments that call other people's character into question. If you have a reason for making them, it would be good to include it along with your comment so that there is no undue offense. Otherwise, it would be best to refrain from making them.

I had this feeling i knew you...how bro...been a while. Stopped watching anime for a while now.as for boruto, its a joke.

Anyways regarding the insult matter, I made that statement because I seem to receive insults whenever I ask questions on here. Its wasnt specifically directed at you, even though your post to him might've influenced my plea. Wasn't calling your character in question. Sorry for that.

Regarding the matter here is a case in point

Client is suspected of stealing some goods. Its up to the prosecutor to proof beyond reasonable doubts that indeed the suspect is guilty. All the defence need to do is call the "evidence" into question. That's all they need to do. There is no need to proof that the suspect is innocent, that isnt required. Just sow a seed of reasonable doubt. That's all.
The onus falls on the one making the claim against the null hypothesis, that is "innocent untill proven guilty", to provide evidence. So in our case the null hypothesis is "There is no God". Until now no one asked for evidence because it was based on faith...but now it is required. The rules don't change because no one was allowed to question then....the claim is still made and the null hypothesis still stands

The burden of proof they taught in the philosophy class that you have never seen the inside of? LOL.

Wouldn't the null hypothesis be "There is no God?"

If so,shouldn't the one claiming otherwise provide the evidence, and if so satisfied, can go ahead and ask a challenger to provide evidence proving otherwise?

Please don't insult me...we all want to learn...if i ask more questions, its not to frustrate you but to learn.

Let's learn to have our pastor's back and correct them. They are not beyond it. Chris might have a big IQ but that doesnt make him an expert on the subject. Well the one and only form of government God intended from inception is THEOCRACY, Satan is the initiator of all other forms of government!
This is the main reason why God has delayed His kingdom up till now, many like you still hope in human government not knowing that Mankind has tried so many forms from Monarchy to Aristocracy and so many others until finally America is now preaching Democracy.
There is no time now but if you study the Bible book of Daniel 2 about Nebuchadnezzar's dream you'll grasp how different forms of government kept falling until mankind now decided to hold unto Democracy. @ Daniel 2:44 we read that during the time of the end people will be changing their rulers and instead of what was prevalent during Nebuchadnezzar's time (Government of the people by one royal family) it will be the people themselves that will choose who will rule over them. But all these are rubbish before God so he will exterminate all of them!

There is no place on this planet where people aren't suffering from illnesses, crime, injustice, suffering and death, it's all the same. What we are anticipating now is God's Kingdom where everything will be perfect! Matthew 6:10

It's like you don't know what Adam and Eve enjoyed in Eden. Please let me enlighten you perhaps you can find anything closer to that now!

They have the prospect of living forever as youths in perfect health conditions no sickness will befall them! Isaiah 33:24
They are in control of all other creatures from the greatest to the smallest so they can walk anytime, anywhere and swim in any kind of water without the fear of predators because all the creatures are subjected to man! Isaiah 11:6
They don't have to work hard before eating as the works they'll do is just like exercising their bodies. Psalms 72:16
Their bodies are so perfect that they won't get tired will going around and playing with all kinds of animals. Job 33:25
They are to continue expanding the Paradisiac garden until the earth is filled with people living in everywhere on the surface of this planet.
There is no natural disaster that's coming to hurt them! Psalms 67:6-7
Nobody will grow old, get sick or die! Revelations 21:3-5

Please what do you have to say about such condition if it's not PERFECT? smiley

1. Democracy had heavy roots in greece and rome, not America.

2. How do you know that God intended theocracy to be the one and only way....and besides why do you speak as if theocracy ended in the garden of eden? It didnt...it continued and reek harvoc....spanish inquisition...the crusade etc.

3. What you posted regarding daniel 2:44 is very poor interpretation i have come to expect. Even royal families were changed frequently because bigger kingdoms kept trying to expand their reach. There was always only a few rulers that stayed on for long. Lots of the smaller kingdoms were clean out regularly....even within the royal families there was always some form of internal struggle...rulers changed all the time...even in a monarchy. I suggest you learn a bit.

4. Sure diseases and sorrow and pain will always be with us...but even heaven wasnt the greatest place....a war broke out there....im sure if you asked the majority of canadians if they were happy in life they would confirm, vrs africa...diseases abound....but getting great medical service helps greatly to mitigate this pain and suffering....vrs the amount of prayers africans have been offering every minute that yields no results...no where is perfect.

5. If you think what you listed is perfect, no wonder africans find themselves in this filth...we really are a lazy bunch. This reeks of laziness and extreme boredom. This is not perfect, eventually we will get bored and eat the forbidden fruit anyways. Might be perfect for ypu, Im not surprised, but not some of us.

The better question is....why was the tree there in the first place? We are a curious bunch, he created us this way....surely God knew we would be curious enough to taste the fruit...someday

Sir no where is perfect, because no one is perfect....man is not perfect and adam was not created perfect, neither was eve....they were created curious susceptible to deceit (by God and satan alike)

Keep on praying for heaven...better yet, go to saudi arabia and preach there, your end will be swift and you will meet the heaven you so long for.

The life that YOU HAVE.

This is where I have an issue with you...you dont seem to understand the grammar used...second time you are misunderstanding simple grammar. The life that you have is not the same as your life.

Jesus didnt preach that we should disregard human life and follow him....which is even silly because following christ means to uphold human life. So why would a man who upholds human life enough to die for humans to be saved, tell you to disregard human life and follow him? Followe him to do what exactly? I just dont get you. You think to proclaim him as your lord and saviour is all you need? Are we that delusional? The proclaimations come with duties, the duties involves loving your neighbour as yourself.

The passage reading "we must stop thinking about ourselves and what we want" clearly points to stop being selfish. It doesnt mean if someone wants to kill me i should do nothing about it. That is being foolish.

Ever since then mankind has been experiencing hardship due to Nepotism in human government {Ecclesiastes 4:1, 8:9} human rulers will pamper their own children but demand taxes from orphans and widows {Matthew 17:24-26} what a sharp contrast with God's own system of rule?

Well since that cannot be, how do we regulate evil doers "controlled by satan"? Do we ignore them and let them kill our women and children? I need practical solutions not ideals...

Be realistic and offer a realistic solution.

Every israelite or atleast most is a trained soldier....because they know even if they are not of this world tgey are in it and require worldly solutions to worldly issues.

I have met so many of your so called humble people, and studied then and at the end. I find them wanting because over and over I reality the humility that is not of God is like paint that eventually peels to reveal it was merely a facade to begin with. undecided

God never called man to be humble in the sight of men but in His sight. Our humility and obedience was never meant for other men but for God. That is why Jesus Christ said that He was gentile and humble, not in personality, but at heart where God alone knows and sees it. undecided

Ah but your quotation even pointed out jesus asking leaders to humble themselves and serve as slaves. Please calm down...you are making petty mistakes

The wicked ruled even when Jesus Christ was on earth yet Jesus Christ never opposed the wicked rulers.. instead He opposed those who would lie in the name of God instead. Did Jesus Christ not have the same passion for the people? He knew what was written in the book of proverbs by Kings(not the people) yet, Jesus Christ did not run for office or even pretend Himself a leader on this earth, why is that? undecided

Jesus Christ lived the Will of God and commanded His followers do exactly as He did. So, why did He instead, choose to turn away from office, defeating the Roman occupiers of His time, to focus instead on serving those who would belong to Him? undecided

So what do you suggest? Im curious
