I agree! As far as IRCC is concerned, one must learn to be patient.
Putin007:
Damn. !!

You are a patient dog, mine is just a month and 3 weeks and I am feeling crushed.

I submitted in May, no response from IRCC up till now. I don't know what I didn't do right.
MarksmanD:
You submitted August 8th. I submitted July 3rd. We have people on this platform who submitted June who are yet to get a decision or an update on their application. Also, IRCC has increased their processing time for Nigeria from 6 weeks to 8 weeks. If we are to use the usual 6 weeks to evaluate your application, you're still a week and 2 days away from panicking. Now that processing time is 8 weeks, you're 3 weeks and 2 days to be anxious about your application. I'll advise you to relax and take your mind off the application. Do some fun activities while you wait. When it's exactly 8 weeks and you haven't gotten an update, you can send a webform. Don't get yourself anxious on what you don't have control over.

I have been waiting for mine for over 3 months now. So you understand? I am beginning to wonder if they have even forgotten about my application.
Guruindahouse:
That was 2 months application timeline. Do you have an average timeline for online application these days?

Subject: Urgent: Update Request on Study Permit Application

Dear Visa Officer,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to inquire about the status of my study permit application submitted on [date]. As the processing time has now surpassed the expected [number] weeks, I have yet to receive any update.

My school’s start date is [date], and with the deadline rapidly approaching, I am increasingly concerned about the potential impact of any delay on my plans to study in Canada.

I understand that your office is handling a large volume of applications, but I kindly request that my application be reviewed as soon as possible to ensure I can meet the resumption date.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Kind regards,

[Your Full Name]

Congratulations!
Please when did you submit your application?
Muslimity:

@MarksmanD and other well wishers,

I am happy to share the good news that my PPR letter landed early this morning.

I submitted all the requested additional documents with a truthful LOE to IRCC, and the caring Lord answered my prayer. Alhamdulillah, all glory to Him.

I will be back soon with lessons learned. Thank you all and I wish the hopefuls the best of luck.

Please advise on the most effective and fast option for submitting my passport for stamping.

This wait is something else. I applied in May.
Doladollz:
Hello!
Please is there anyone here who applied in June and has gotten a response recently?

Please do you know of anyone who submitted in May that has gotten approval? My application is over 3 months now. I don't understand how IRCC works honestly.
Blessing84:
Good morning all. Please I have submitted my application for over 2months now and I am yet to get a response. Please how do I go about it; is there a phone number to call or an email address to send a message to. Please I need to know how I can get a response if not I forfeit my tuition deposit already paid
