How Does One Say Goodbye?, Losing A Loved One & Learning To Live On.
Life is indeed a mass complexities that sometimes confound us and completely overwhelms our senses when we are faced with some of its marvels and mysteries.
Marvels and mysteries like death;does anyone really understand why it has to happen apart from the scientific explanation that we are taught in school about the cycle of life, how it start and why it ends? We also know and accept aas an integral part of our faith that,a person is born, goes through life and then dies and that death will definetly come. Also we know that its where, when and how are part of the secret of the Unseen that only Allaah has the exclusive knowledge of.
But does knowing ever really prepare you for losing someone dear? Can anybody truly understand that wrenching pain of losing a dear one or the resultant emptiness of the soul as though a huge chunk of it has been turn away? Do the memories fade away with time as some wellmeaning sympathizers predict?
Memories! perhaps they will fade depending on the nature of the loss, or the person lost.Perhaps not, !What is it about a person anyway that keeps in himor her even in death;alive in the hearts those that care?Is it the age, colour, status or may be the waythe person died?
Hassan was a young man in his twenties who had nothing but shy smiles and an ever present willingness to help out.He never once complained about anything in the all too short three years I knew him.A modest man,he was mannered enough to know when to lower his gaze, how to stand by the door to give his salaams, his 'thank you'spurred you on to give more and his friendship was craved and cherished by children,he was never too busy for them, Hassan was our 'Maiguard'(Gateman),he was also a friend and a family and a member of the family, Hassan died just when he set to make something of his life, start a business and most likely get Kareemah, what was special about her?Her mother, who is admired and loved by many? The manner and circumstances under which she was conceived and born, the sparkle in her eyes
that made her look like both cheeky and adorable at the same time.

Can one ever say goodbye?May be not!But we can dry our tears and find succour in the dua' of the prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa ssllam);"O Allah, forgive those of us who are living and those of us who are dead, those of us who are preesnt and those of us who are absent, our young and our old,our male and our female.O Allaah,to whosoever of us you take him in death as a follower of Islaam.O Allaah,do not withhold from us the reward (of faith)and do not lead us astray after his death."(Abu Dawood)

Politics / Why Goodluck Jonathan Can Run For President In 2011 by kingahmjok: 11:24am On Mar 12, 2010
The hue and cry over Dr. Goodluck Jonathan’s right to contest for the office of the Presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is misconceived, inflammatory and disturbing. There have been inappropriate, misleading and mischievous references to the People’s Democratic Party’s (PDP) preference for a zoning system in this unfortunate debate. There is nothing even remotely constitutional in this debate. If Dr. Jonathan's critics are fairly represented by the likes of the governor’s forum and some element in the PDP, then the case for electing Dr. Jonathan to the office of President have been reinforced.

Dr. Jonathan's right to contest for political office - any political office including the office of President, is constitutionally guaranteed. His prima facie qualifications under sections
131 and 137 of the Nigerian constitution are not in question; nor is there a credible dispute as to the credentials of this particular candidate. Given these predicates,
a non-issue has been fabricated. By the use of smoke and mirrors, persistent innuendos
and intellectual sleight of hand, the objective is to tarnish the reputation of a good man and deny the Nigerian people the right to choose who will lead them in this trying period.

To begin with, the available evidence overwhelmingly indicates that Jonathan’s bid for the PDP’s presidential nomination more seriously, for a run would be good for the party and good for the country. Why? Because Jonathan is a man of conviction, has a record on which he can be judged, and whatever the result, there could be no ambiguity about the will of the people. The best way to settle arguments is by having what we used to call full and frank exchanges about the issues, and then voting.

Furthermore, it is undisputed even by the critics that Dr. Jonathan has led by his
exemplary service and has articulated strong values and principles that matters most
to Nigerians. He is the candidate who has displayed responsiveness to criticism. In my earlier article “Goodluck Jonathan the Reluctant Leader” I challenged the Acting President of lack of courage in carrying out presidential duties and the need for reforms, coupled with criticism from Nigerians and the international community. He responded by making changes in his administration and forwarded the Justice Uwais Electoral reform report to the national assembly unedited. He is most capable of consensus building, of thriving even as the pressure of governance inevitably builds up in Abuja. This is evident in Dr. Jonathan's tenure as Deputy Governor, Governor, Vice President and Acting President respectively. Dr. Jonathan has articulated a viable strategy for addressing Nigerians challenges, beginning with the inauguration of the Presidential Advisory Committee (PAC). He has also rolled out proposals for reforms and is responsible for implementing many of the obvious barometers of progress under the current administration.

I echo the sentiments of President Barack Obama in town square Springfield, Illinois while declaring his run for the Presidency of the United States of America that, "what's stopped us is the failure of leadership, the smallness of our politics -- the ease with which we're distracted by the petty and trivial, our chronic avoidance of tough decisions, our preference for scoring cheap political points instead of rolling up our sleeves and building a working consensus to tackle the big problems …"
Business / Vital Steps To Money Acquisition And Management by kingahmjok: 6:21pm On Feb 05, 2010
Draw a scale of preference with respect to money utility and have a priority list.
-Invest in your preparation by creating time to plan, let investment plans be foremost in your mind.
-Let your thinking on money be a drive for you to do work on how to get it.
-Apart from thinking of ways of getting money, also reduce your meditation on ways to spend your hard earned money and increase your thinking on ways to invest it.
- Staying on your investment thought will definitely give birth to investment plans and such plans, put on ground, will definitely yield results if they were properly drawn.
-Always think of what to do to attract finances into your life through investment.

Honestly, is a good article. Always think of what to do to attract finances into your life thru investment,Men that say there is no money can't make it in life, but those that say there's money even when it has not reached them are the ones that go all the way to make it.
