It's plenty already, boss.

So it sounds like the main risk is me not being able to handle a crazy person who I sublet to. And also the risk of the landlord finding out, which I don't think is even smart to start without express consent.

Besides these concerns, is there any implication on a potential ILR?

Good day elders.
I have been thinking to rent a 2/3 bedroom and use one of the rooms for Airbnb.

Assuming the landlord agrees for me to sublet (tough job), does it run contrary to the terms of my tier 2 visa?

For tier 2 I know we can have a second job in the industry for which our CoS was issued.

I'd like your opinions on this please. Will subletting have any impact on my future ILR?

Did my interview today though. I was interviewed by panel 43 and they seemed quite tough. They asked me questions from my cv but it just seemed from their reaction I wasn't saying what they wanted. Did my IT with DPR and my roles where basically supervision operation, they asked me how I related it to the terminals I found myself. I tried answering but they cut in again. At last they were telling me didn't I see installations and maintainance while working. I said yes, but those weren't part of my job assignment. Just had to agree with them.

They asked about difficult situation I faced at work and how I solved it. What the heck. Can't remember any. Just feel some of this questions aren't really necessary. I tried answering, but they said my answer was about resolving conflict. I was just tired. They said I should relate it to my school project. Can't really remember any tangible difficulty. Na by force to encounter difficulties?

Safety question was relatively ok. About safety in driving. Gave them the once I could remember. They were still expecting more. I couldn't remember any in time again. They help me with some other important ones that I had to agree with.

They told me they know am good, but I should try and be articulated. From onset per say, they never gave me that comfort to strive. They looked tired. Some were even sleeping. They ask question and sleep off.

But I thank God for everything. It happens to be my first ever interview experience after my service. I believe God who brought me this far won't let me down. So many people are looking unto me, praying for my success.

Wish us all success. You may not be the best, but the grace of God is all you need to be the difference and that is all I'm keying into.

I read so much emotion in your words bro.

I wish you best of luck in this process.

Don't beat yourself too much.

So, I went through your posts and did not see anywhere you gave your interview questions for others to benefits. From Sterling Bank to Standard Charted Bank to KPMG to PwC interviews, I did not see you drop your interview questions!
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Apply For 2019 NNPC Graduate Trainee And Experience Hire by Kingbee1900: 3:47pm On Jul 08, 2019
As a matter of fact, I agree that giving out direct questions affects your chances, and gives another an edge to perform better.
However, what I have issues with is the fact that those who are screaming "ethics", "right and wrong" have all read other people's interview experience, and used it to prepare for theirs.

They only became righteous and objective all of a sudden because they don't want others to enjoy the privilege they've enjoyed.

Question for such guys
Would you be on this thread if people weren't sharing their experiences and questions?

I have applied for other jobs where I got far in the recruitment process because previous candidates shared their experience. I do well to drop my experience for posterity as well.

Just try to put some water in the well you drink from.
If you don't intend to do that, stay away from the well, or at least, don't put dirt in it.

Its not 100% on merit. When I was there I heard a lot of people calling people they know in the nnpc. Giving out info like their panel number and candidate number.

Don't be bothered about the calls. How many of your uncles have you given your CV to?
How many of them have given you jobs?

Sometimes we expect too much from people we know and the only way they don't fall their hand is to collect your candidate number or CV, and then advise you to prepare, promising to do their part.

They end up doing nothing, and if you do eventually get a job by your efforts, you end up appreciating them for doing nothing, rather than appreciating your God and your efforts.

Bottom line, nor be all call get weight.

Hi guys,

Can more than one person present for the group. May be two.

This way, I feel, will make every member of the team participate in one way in the group presentation.

The instruction they give is that one person should present. However, this person does not present his own idea alone. Everybody contributes, he jots salient points and then presents them.

Recap of how my interview went.

First thing to note is the interview is at Landmark towers not CPP place.
Though should you make the same mistake I made this morning fixing it is quite easy (Landmark is a stone's throw away)

My interview was for 8:30am and I got to the venue quite early as I was coming from the mainland and I didn't want to risk getting there late due to traffic.

I met a lady who had gotten there earlier for the same interview and soon afterwards others started to arrive.

There was 10 of us and we got spilt in two groups five per group (the selection was random or at least so it seemed)

The first stage was group discussion, the first 5 went for theirs first and when they got back my group went for ours.

We had taken out time to plan our discussions and assigned roles before going in so this helped during the group presentation, every member of my team had valuable contributions and the team leader coordinated us well. I handled the presentation.

Fresh topics are delivered to each group so don't bother asking me what topic was asked, however, know this, the topics would be something you can relate to. It also helps if you have a diverse group.

We all went back to the waiting room where biscuits and tea as well as water was available for those who required them.

Interviews started not long after. Each group had a panel and each member of the group gets called to be interviewed one at a time in the order with which they arrived.

I arrived second this meant I was interviewed second.

The lead time between the first interviewee and my interview was about 90 minutes.

Do take bathroom breaks as much as you need before your turn.

The interview itself.

Well I can't repeat blow by blow all the questions I was asked but I'd say this.

A. Be prepared to talk about yourself excluding everything you have on your CV. Especially if your CV isn't loaded.

B. Majority of my questions if not all was tied to my freelancing career.

You will be drilled! You can't coast through the interview if you have not prepared well. These interviewers are not there to joke they take notes and ask intelligent questions based on your response.

What tip would I give you?

1. Read up on answers to standard interview questions.

2. Prepare answers to behavioral questions. 90% of what I was asked was behavioral based on answers I gave earlier on.

3. Be ready to defend the unit you picked.

4. Smile, breathe and be confident. Don't rush with your answers.

I wish you all the best

Now the wait begins...

1. Analytical exercise. You'll receive a 6-8 page document containing email messages between a few persons. You're expected to prepare a report based on the information on the emails (35 mins) . Your report will be done in PowerPoint (10 mins )
2. Competency Interview. Get ready for a good number of questions in the form of "tell me a time when.. Tell me this... Tell me that.."
3. Group Task. A group of 4-6 will be constituted and you'll receive a document with 5 business scenario which needs to be decided on. They'll want you guys to debate the issues audibly (so they can hear), not argue, rather, suggest ideas and all that (35 mins). Try to be active. Don't stay quiet throughout, but at the same time don't talk out of point.
4. Essay writing (20 mins)
5. Presentation of that slide you did in number 1 above (10 mins)

You guys will get light item 7 sometime halfway the process.

Note that the order that I listed the activities is not fixed.

Goodluck guys!!

Not bad. It's a fight against time. You need to read fast and work smart.
Personally, my Maths is not as solid as my verbal, critical and abstract ability, so I started with those ones I know I'm good with. Did the Numericals last. Still had to do some random clicking just before the time ran out.

For those who are yet to write the test, it is as follows :

20 Numerical reasoning
15 critical reasoning
5 assumption questions
6 abstract questions
4 word relationship

Goodluck!!
