grin

You're offering 25k to a veteran driver grin

Money you can make in 2days out of 7days?...

Anyway, I'm still looking at all the offers, will choose someone from this group by 3rd week of the month..

Note: to people interested, this car is rugged like Corolla, I bought it last year July and it has never messed me up till date.

So, I expect you to do every regular maintenance except servicing which I will be responsible for at every 3500miles...

Trust me, you might not touch anything in the car for 2 months so far you're a very careful driver and consumption is very good...

Agba Osere mo juba o... (meaning... Veterans I salute)

Boss thanks for providing more details about the car.

I'm offering 30k weekly.

One thing I can guarantee you is unfailing, regular and constant remittance one I'm ready to demonstrate with upfront payments.

P.S:
If 30k is up for consideration, I'd be glad if my offer is accepted because as a veteran I expect you to understand 7 working days is not feasible and expedient for all drivers and not even healthy for the car as well except "Antz" grin grin cheesy cool

Thank you , i mentioned its not really for bolt though.

Yes I’ll check it out

Oh okay… the C280 isn’t a bad choice then. I do tell people no matter the magnitude of negativity you want to ascribe to a Benz owing to the clime we find ourselves, for me ooo the PROS will always outweigh CONS Periodt!

Thanks,

Relating to c280 , is this the same ?

Boss I hardly post on nairaland as I dey always enjoy reading the whole cruise, gbas gbos and not forgetting the resourceful & helpful responses people take their time to dish out here as a guest but as I see say Oga Feli Dey take too long to respond to that your question I decided to wade in due to my little experience. Lo and behold before I could login and post he had already done justice and his verdict wasn’t far off from what I was obliviously typing.

Now down to the C280 first off, you will be paying more for the car due to it luxury orientation (cool sweet interior with with smooth superb driving experience and upgraded safety features) and that’s where the V6 engine comes in. Just as you will hardly or never find a Lexus with 4 plugs engine the C280, C350(Baba) and I think the C230 comes with V6 base engine configuration unlike the C180 with 4plugs/4 cylinders hence the significant fuel consumption Oga Feli was likening it to the Corollas and Civics of this world.

So to answer your question sir, they are not the same because the C280 will cost you more to acquire, cost you more on fuel consumption, it will cost you more maintenance wise although not all of them are 4Matic. However, the additional luxury features might outweigh these costs depending on your orientation and how much of a Benz freak you are. Imagine what Oga Feli said about fiber optic sound wiring as far back as 2005-2007 cars and yes you’re getting a Harman Kardon audio system in the C280.

One the brighter and “ Pro” side, YES to more chicks grin, more compliments, more offline trips, more prestige but las las more cost when it’s time to attending to the car needs. Lastly, I’ve got to add they are all the same body frame and not just anyone will be able to tell the difference between the basic and luxury version so why not settle for the one wey go still give you peace of mind?

Which model please

Baba make sure it’s a C180 Kompressor 2003 - 2005 … He get why grin

That “Kompressor” is not just for decoration o! There are other variants of the C-Klass same production years with 4 cylinders but with at least 12-24 plugs (yes Benz is that crazy) but the Kompressor is a 4plugs straight engine with normal drive system rather than the 4matic drive system.

As seen on Twitter;

1st Pic: About protest in Benin
2nd, 3rd & 4th Pic: Protest in Abj

But some Olori-buruku think they are cashing out in Lagos not knowing there are mortgaging their future to Bolt because come to think of it, if you’ve been working every other day of the week and you can’t sacrifice just two days to make your voice heard then you’re in for a long ride. Such drivers will continue to live from daily earnings to daily earnings.

Shoutout to all the legit bosses that complied and frown at this modern day slavery and on the long run the uncooperative drivers woe will continue because las las posterity will judge everyone.

Peace!

I'm not here to judge neither am I one to comment on topics frequently on Nairaland but first, sending a screenshot with your account balance to a stranger is a NO! NO!! If this said scammer is not a stranger since he could be traced back to a group, a C.C.C (celestial church of Christ) WhatsApp group for that matter, this is what spiked my interest to comment. C.C.C is not a vague, ambiguous entity and I'm 100% certain it's not C.C.C's headquarters group you're talking about, so my guess is it's one of C.C.C parishes out there. Every parish has their resident shepherd, his assistants and other church workers along with the parochial committee, youth coordinator and many more executives like the church secretary or parochial committee chairman that would be aware and probably be attached or be the admin of such said group. Haven't pointed all that out, someone out of them should be able to identify the person that posted this dubious offer. Except the N146k is peanut to the said 60yrs old man, before wasting your time on a frustrating and disappointing trip to the bank to chase shadows, you should first contact the admin(s) of the group to identify the poster on the group because no one is getting on that group without the admin's consent in the first place. If the admin(s) deny knowledge of such person then the matter get K-leg be that because a stranger doesn't just jump on a Whatsapp group overnight. A Church's WhatsApp group is not a faceless forum like NL that anyone can open multiple account and spam like the fixed matches and porn guys on here.

Enough said, it's very simple just go to the admin(s) I believe that's a good point to start off and if they deny knowing such person ... hmmm casala don burst be that and no be for my mouth you go hear say something is fishing grin grin grin

Davisk11:

issues sorted...@funlord I appreciate you once again bro. May you live long sir.

Okay this post is long over due and how can I let such incident go unnarrated without giving props. First, Happy New Year my beautiful people on NL. Permit me to share what I called a near scam experience with @Davisk11 but turn out to be a very relationship strengthening experience. Recall I replied to @mesmer post on on how to identify a legit and reputable name on here for the sake of newbies in this section on Dec 28. Well I did a background check on couple of names and I decided to contact @Davisk11. He was decent and I felt comfortable with him so I went ahead with the trade and the very first one was swift and done smoothly. I was encouraged and shortly after I decided to proceed with a subsequent trade which in turn went sour after he told me to give him some time to confirm my payment before releasing my funds. The minutes started running into hours and night was drawing nigh. I'm a very patient person and likes to give people benefit of doubts, I didn't want to conclude he was a scammer just yet when a deal that start about noon was still open and I never heard from him very late into the night, so I decided to voice out at that point.

At past 11pm I decided to leave him a message that he is leaving me with no choice than for me to return to NL to ruin his reputation and tagged him as a scammer but to my greatest surprise he responded almost immediately and begged me not to do that as he was so concerned about his reputation on NL. This is someone that has refused to respond to me all day and kept ignoring my message and suddenly replies me when he heard I was about to ruin his reputation on NL and was begging serious, that baffled me because I already concluded he is a scammer and his modus operandi is to lure a new customer with a very swift and smooth first deal knowing that you might just be testing the waters with a small deal and when you come back with a larger amount, then he swings in to swindle you. I bought the story he told me that he is yet to hear from his client and promise not to sleep until he completes my trade, so I decided to be more patient with me. Not to beat about the bush or bore you too much with my epistle, I indeed woke up the next morning to his credit alert and I promise to give him props and write a positive review on him because I was highly impressed with how he was so concerned about his reputation on NL and made me see reason as to how a negative post from me will go a long way to dent his prestige on NL whereby rendering him worthless as this is what he does for a living presently.

I really want to recommend @Davisk11 to any potential customer out there because a good name they say is better than silver or gold. He's such a dignified person and when you see someone that upholds his integrity like he does, he should be taken serious.

Thanks for reading my epistle and I hope the effort of the good people trying to make NL a better place to trade won't be futile.

Tabbaz has one list of serial scammers up and running for more than 3 years. I would have loved to post the link but the fear of nairaland Bots na the beginning of wisdom, the boys don show me fire. lol
just do a nairaland search on the moniker, click on the username and just do a little recon... 15 mins or so of your time will go a long way in saving your money and please be careful of new usernames, note: not all new usernames are scam... just saying.

Thanks for the info boss.

Inasmuch as I empathize with you but you failed to do your due diligence, you sent first to a November account. lol!
Don't you ever trade with anyone based on sentiments. yeah he called a scammer out and you thought he is all legit. trade only with a reputable name or Escrow is the way.
Be safe, next time.

Good morning Sir, could you please share tips on how to identify a legit and reputable name on here for the sake of newbies in this section. Thanks & God Bless.

Why cause a Furore and run off without settling it.what i know is this Peugeots are very electronically sensitive cars especially 406 models n above so you cannot just go meet any mechanic otherwise OYO is your case so some novice driver who knows nothing about cars is equally also a danger. But an experienced and attentive driver with the right mechanic will do just fine but for a newbie just go toyota or hyundai and have peace of mind.i have struggled with my Peugeot but i love the car its a delight to drive, super steady on top speed and my riders are almost always wowed...infact for me i always catch a thrill when i am watching policemen confused as to whether to stop me or not as am approaching( my car is perceived to be used mostly by military folks) you cannot vandalize the car/ brainbox...Oyo is also your case without the car key...so like most other cars it has its pros and cons but not just any driver should use it...

Boss, when I saw the statement Oga @Gazzuzz made I smiled. I've been driving a 407 since January(Inspired by Ogunvic...story for another day grin) and the car is still very much in top shape. Following Oga @Romeo silence on this thread, you've been one and probably the major Peogeot advocate on this thread. I've been willing and still hoping to meet you boss to discuss your challenges with your 407 because mine still drives like a jet on land and have hardly experienced any electrical fault but I've just had to change the fuel pump for 7k, cold room standard A.C., superb shock absorbers that makes the car feels like it's suspended on balloon, sweet leather interior knitted with fabric by the way mine is a luxury SE Pack. I've driven through flood inclusive of the notorious last Saturday flood that transformed Ikorodu rd. around Palmgribe to a mini river.

Once again the former part of your comment I bolded still gives me concern but I totally concur with the latter part. Boss I go send you DM make we connect. Talkikg about the prestige and reverence attached to the car, on several occasions while driving my Lion without a number plate back then, police will smile at me and wave me pass then go ahead stopping the car behind me... I go just dey smile. My Lion is such a cute adorable baby and it's a manual transmission I'm loving every single moment I spend in it. #TeamLion!!!

Talking about experience:

Please note that I am a newbie(75 trips in all) and I rely strictly on the map as I no sabi Lagos road at all.

Was on the road by 7am yesterday, completed2 trips on the mainland then the 3rd took me to the island. Dropped the rider off and got another almost immediately location Osbourne estate. Got to the rider, called and he said he is coming down now in his oyinbo accent. Waited for good 11 minutes before be showed up, got in and told me he is headed to the airport and was kinda late, I took off,got to the airport he asked how much it was, I ended trip and was waiting for the fare , Omo no network eh! Airtel don kill me I cried , oyinbo say he is in a hurry but that I should send my account details and fare to him and he will transfer later so I left, got out of the airport and network showed up so I quickly parked and was typing my details when a police hilux blocked me and ordered me out, ahh I don enter! They showed me the no parking sign and Every so I tried explaining but one of them got inside my car and ordered me to drive to the station, while driving I pleaded with the police man he said the fine was 50K, ahh I have made just 4800 and my fuel sign is up already(hadn't bought fuel yet) I begged ended up taking all I had made and I still had to thank their oga join... now am angry.. I got another request , called the guy he said he was in front of excellence hotel, drove there he said he was opposite ahh ahh... got there he said I have passed I should drive go take a u turn again, I screamed cancel please this is too much already, he pleaded I finally got to him(spent 15 minutes) saw another driver there we spoke, he told me the trip was to iyana ipaja, eh, am not going oo,he begged that he wants to chop taxify bonus today and that we will get a trip from there ...OK... the family came out and said I was going to carry 5 passengers, eh! eh!eh!! I refused. ..... 30 minutes into the journey a commercial yellow bus wanted to replicate fast and furious and scratched my car, I parked in the middle of the road , wasted 20 minutes there ,finally he drop 5k and I let him go... got to iyana ipaja , dropped off passenger, another request and was 3 minutes away, got there via map and it turned out the map was wrong, ended up following bike to get to the rider who was about 12 minutes away, where are you going sir I asked,he said drive I will direct you, the ride took me to the boundary of Lagos and ogun, somewhere in alakuko . I just vex.. off data.... drive 1hour jejely to my house....

Newbies... always ask where the trip leads before you navigate to the rider...
That was one Saturday to remember

I apologize for the errors..... please bosses in the house, share do's and don't's for us newbies. ThAnks for your usual cooperation...

Thanks for sharing sir ... hope you've been having better Luck?

@bugativeron I'm actually less concern with all these ppl taking jabs at u on ur annual income but I'm more concerned with the move u r about to make and the only thing I'll say about it is what @Ghana Oga already said... GO AHEAD AND MAKE THIS MOVE AND AFTER DUMPING THE SO CALLED CALLED JOB THATS PAYING U UP TO 8MIL HERE IN NIGERIA, START WORKING IN JC PENNEY, WALMART, KFC OR EVEN AS A TRUCK DRIVER OR DELIVERY BOY AND BY THE TIME U OBTAIN UR CITIZENSHIP AND START LIVING & GIVING YOUR WONDERFUL KIDS THAT GOOD LIFE THEY DESRVE FREELY ON THE OTHER SIDE, YOU'LL ONLY VISIT THIS COUNTRY YEARS LATER TO SHOW UP YOUR MORE EDUCATED, MORE CIVILIZED, MORE ADVANCED AND MORE POSH KIDS TO THE ONES THAT ARE MOCKING YOU TODAY FOR STARTING THIS THREAD AND THEY'LL STILL BE ROASTING AND DEGENERATING IN THIS COUNTRY THAT EVERYTHING FAVOURS THE IMMUNE RICH ONES AND THE AVERAGE AND POOR ONES KEEPS GETTING POORER. BY THEN IF THIS THREAD IS STILL AVAILABLE AND YOU OPEN IT FOR UR KIDS TO READ, THEY'LL REALIZE U MADE SUCH A MOVE TO MAKE LIFE MORE BETTER AND EASIER FOR THEM SO THEY WONT HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE HARDSHIP YOU WENT THRU AND RATHER SETTLE FOR MEDIOCRITY HERE IN NAIJA, THOSE KIDS WILL BLESS U AND EVEN NOMINATE U FOR THE BEST DAD CATEGORY IN THE GUINESS BOOK OF RECORD grin

I respect ur courage to start this thread sir, there are so many ppl like u out there. Even though I cant boast of half of ur annual income, this move to relocate my family is like topmost on my list too now just because of these little angels and I pray Almighty God will guide and show you the right way. My advise is for you to take ur time, don't rush into things so as not to rush into the wrong hands that will want to take advantage of your determination. Also, I'll advise u focus on Canada, they've got great immigration laws at the moment and you can obtain ur citizenship in a very short time.

The legendary FELA, saw all this coming and sang about it for years, Eldris AlduKareem stated it out in Jaja Jaga and the song was banned followed by his exile to Ghana back then. I still remember Tony Tetuila's he go better and up till now I shake my head all the time the way we struggle to survive in this country even with ur so called MONEY. I rest my case for now...God bless Nigeria, God bless Africa.
